Ethylenediamine （H2NCH2CHeNH2） was found to be a highly effective catalyst for the condensation of aryl aldehydes with nitromethane （or nitroethane）. When 1%-2% （tool%） of ethylenediamine was used as the catalyst, the one-pot reaction of aryl aldehydes with nitromethane （or nitroethane） by refluxing for 3-10 h efficiently afforded various arylnitroalkenes la-ly in 85%-97% yields.

Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder with recurrent unprovoked seizures,affecting~65 million *** in patients with epilepsy and animal models suggests a contribution of neuroinflammation to epileptogenesis and the development of ***(ILs),as one of the major contributors to neuroinflammation,are intensively studied for their association and modulatory effects on ictogenesis and *** are commonly divided into pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines and therefore are expected to be pathogenic or neuroprotective in ***,both protective and destructive effects have been reported for many *** may be due to the complex nature of ILs,and also possibly due to the different disease courses that those ILs are involved *** this review,we summarize the contributions of different ILs in those processes and provide a current overview of recent research advances,as well as preclinical and clinical studies targeting ILs in the treatment of epilepsy.

Background： Although the onset of anemia during infectious disease is commonly correlated with production of inflammatory cytokines, the mechanisms by which cytokines induce anemia are poorly defined. This study focused on the mechanism research. Methods： Different types of mice were infected perorally with Toxoplasma gondii strain ME49. At the indicated times, samples fi＇om each mouse were harvested, processed, and analyzed individually. Blood samples were analyzed using a Coulter Counter and red blood cell （RBC） survival was measured by biotinylation. Levels of tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α）, inducible nitric oxide synthase （iNOS）, and inducible protein 10 （IP-10） mRNA in liver tissue were measured by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results： T. gondii-infected mice exhibited anemia due to a decrease in both erythropoiesis and survival time of RBC in the circulation （P 〈 0.02）. In addition, infection-stimulated anemia was associated with fecal occult, supporting previous literature that hemorrhage is a consequence of T. gondii infection in mice. Infection-induced anemia was abolished in interferon gamma （IFNy） and I FNy receptor deficient mice （P 〈 0.05） but was still evident in mice lacking TNF-α, iNOS, phagocyte NADPH oxidase or IP-10 （P 〈 0.02）. Neither signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 （STAT1） deficient mice nor 129S6 controls exhibited decreased erythropoiesis, but rather suffered from an anemia resulting solely from increased loss of circulating RBC. Conclusions： Infection-stimulated decrease in erythropoiesis and losses of RBC have distinct mechanistic bases. These results show that during T. gondii infection, IFNγ is responsible foran anemia that results from both a decrease in erythropoiesis and a STAT1 independent loss of circulating RBC.

Here,a novel strategy is proposed targeting the volatility of A-site cations and the disordered arrangement of perovskite grains through employing Cs~+contained metal-organic frameworks In-aip(Cs)obtained by ion-exchange and crystalline *** forces between Cs-O atoms split the pore channels of the pristine In-aip,endowing In-aip(Cs)with multidimensional charge transport channels,In addition,the partially freed Cs~+in the interlayer compensates for the vacancy of A-site cations during the perovskite preparation *** In-aip(Cs)modified perovskite films have a flat morphology,large grains and excellent optoelectronic *** from the high-quality perovskite films and faster charge extraction,the In-aip(Cs)-modified PSCs achieved a champion PCE of 23.03%,superior to the In-aip-modified(22.29%)and control device(21.13%),More importantly,the unencapsulated PSCs modified with In-aip(Cs)exhibited outstanding humidity and thermal *** a period of almost 1000 h,the unencapsulated In-aip(Cs)-modified device retained 85%of its initial PCE after storing in a glove box at 85℃,and retained 87%of the primary PCE upon storage in ambient condition at 25℃under a humidity of 40%.

Background:Tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated protein 1(TRAP1)plays a protective effect in hypoxic cardiomyocytes,but the precise mechanisms are not well *** study is aimed to identify the mechanism of TRAP1 on hypoxic damage in ***:In this study,the effects of TRAP1 and cytochrome c oxidase subunit Ⅱ(COXⅡ)on apoptosis in hypoxia-induced cardiomyocytes were explored using overexpression and knockdown methods ***:Hypoxia induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis,and TRAP1 overexpression notably inhibited apoptosis induced by ***,TRAP1 silencing promoted apoptosis in hypoxic *** investigation revealed that the proapoptotic effects caused by the silencing of TRAP1 were prevented by COXⅡ overexpression,whereas COXⅡ knockdown reduced the antiapoptotic function induced by TRAP1 ***,changes in the release of cytochrome c from mitochondria into the cytosol and the caspase-3 activity in the cytoplasm,as well as reactive oxygen species production,were found to be correlated with the changes in ***:The current study uncovered that TRAP1 regulates hypoxia-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis through a mitochondria-dependent apoptotic pathway mediated by COXⅡ,in which reactive oxygen species presents as an important component.

In this work,the chitosan and N-doped graphene natively grown on hierarchical porous carbon（N-PC-G/CS） nanocomposite was obtained by ultrasonic method,as a novel sensor platform for determination of tartrazine（TT）.The nanocomposite as prepared had well dispersivity in water and excellent *** N-PC-G/CS nanocomposite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM）,nitrogen adsorption-desorption,fourier transform infrared（FTIR） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS）.The application of N-PC-G/CS for determination of tartrazine（TT） was investigated by chronocoulometry（CC）,cyclic voltammetry（CV） and differential pulse voltammetry（DPV）.Under optimized conditions,the sensor displayed a sensitive response to TT within a wide concentration range of 0.05-15.0 μmol/L,the detection limits is 0.036 μmol/L（S/N = 3）.Furthermore,this nanocomposite could be efficiently applied for determination of TT in soft drink samples.

Although covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with highπ-conjugation have recently exhibited great prospects in perovskite solar cells(PSCs),their further application in PSCs is still hindered by face-to-face stacking and aggregation ***,metal-organic framework(MOF-808)is selected as an ideal platform for the in situ homogeneous growth of a COF to construct a core-shell MOF@COF nanoparticle,which could effectively inhibit COF stacking and *** synergistic intrinsic mechanisms induced by the MOF@COF nanoparticles for reinforcing intrinsic stability and mitigating lead leakage in PSCs have been *** complementary utilization ofπ-conjugated skeletons and nanopores could optimize the crystallization of large-grained perovskite films and eliminate *** resulting PSCs achieve an impressive power conversion efficiency of 23.61%with superior open circuit voltage(1.20 V)and maintained approximately 90%of the original power conversion efficiency after 2000 h(30-50%RH and 25-30℃).Benefiting from the synergistic effects of the in situ chemical fixation and adsorption abilities of the MOF@COF nanoparticles,the amount of lead leakage from unpackaged PSCs soaked in water(<5 ppm)satisfies the laboratory assessment required for the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Regulation.

Seasonal thermal energy storage(STES)allows storing heat for long-term and thus promotes the shifting of waste heat resources from summer to winter to decarbonize the district heating(DH)*** being a promising solution for sustainable energy system,large-scale STES for urban regions is lacking due to the relatively high initial investment and extensive land *** close the gap,this study assesses the potentials of using two naturally available structures for STES,namely valley and ground pit *** on geographical information system(GIS)methods,the available locations are searched from digital elevation model and selected considering several criteria from land uses and construction *** costs of dams to impound the reservoir and the yielded storage capacities are then quantified to guide the choice of suitable *** assessment is conducted for the northern China where DH systems and significant seasonal differences of energy demand *** total,2,273 valley sites and 75 ground pit sites are finally identified with the energy storage capacity of 15.2 billion GJ,which is much larger than the existing DH demand in northern *** results also prove that 682 valley sites can be achieved with a dam cost lower than 20 CNY/m^(3).By conducting sensitivity analysis on the design dam wall height and elevations,the choices of available natural structures are expanded but practical issues about water pressures and constructions are also ***,the identified sites are geographically mapped with nearest urban regions to reveal their roles in the DH *** general,560 urban regions are found with potential STES units and most of them have STES storage capacities larger than their own DH *** novel planning methodology of this study and publicly available datasets create possibilities for the implementations of large-scale STES in urban DH systems.

The photocatalytic oxidative coupling of thiols is one of the most popular methods to synthesize the *** and its derivatives(TPAs)are promising for the above reaction,but suffer from the easy polymerization and difficult *** overcome these obstacles while controlling the photogenerated electrons transfer directly to target substrates,herein,we constructed one TPA-based metal-organic framework(MOF),(Me_(2)NH_(2))[Sr(TCBPA)]·DMA·3H_(2)O(1),by direct self-assembly of tris(4′-carboxybiphenyl)amine(H_(3)TCBPA)and photoredox inert strontium ion(Sr^(2+)).DFT calculations revealed that the valence band maximum(VBM)and the conduction band minimum(CBM)are mainly located on TCBPA^(3-),successfully inhibiting the undesirable electron migration to metal *** results indicated that 1 displays superior performance than homogeneous H_(3)TCBPA,which may result from the abundant π…π and C—H…π interactions between the well-arranged TCBPA^(3-)and the build-in electric field between the anionic framework and the Me_(2)NH^(2+).This work highlights that immobilizing TPAs into MOFs is one promising approach to designing heterogeneous photocatalysts for the synthesis of disulfides by oxidative coupling of thiols.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries are promising due to inherent safety,low cost,low toxicity,and high volumetric ***,issues of dendrites and side reactions between zinc metal anode and the electrolyte need to be solved for extended storage and cycle ***,we proposed that an electrolyte additive with an intermediate chelation strength of zinc ion—strong enough to exclude water molecules from the zinc metal-electrolyte interface and not too strong to cause a significant energy barrier for zinc ion dissociation—can benefit the electrochemical stability by suppressing hydrogen evolution reaction,overpotential growth,and den-drite ***-sodium diethylene-triaminepentaacetic acid salt was selected for such a *** has a suitable chelating ability in aqueous solutions to adjust solvation sheath and can be readily polarized under electrical loading conditions to further improve the ***||Zn symmetric cells can be stably operated over 3500 h at 1 mA cm^(-2).Zn||NH4V4O10 full cells with the additive show great cycling stability with 84.6%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).Since the additive not only reduces H2 evolution and corrosion but also modifies Zn2+diffusion and deposition,highlyreversible Zn electrodes can be achieved as verified by the experimental *** work offers a practical approach to the logical design of reliable electrolytes for high-performance aqueous batteries.
