Analysis and experimental study on resistance-increasing behavior of composite high efficiency autonomous inflow control device

Bottom water coning is the main reason to reduce the recovery of horizontal bottom water reservoir. By water coning, we mean the oil-water interface changes from a horizontal state to a mound-shaped cone and breaks through to the wellbore. Autonomous inflow control device(AICD) is an important instrument maintain normal production after bottom water coning, however, the resistance increasing ability of the swirl type AICD is insufficient at present, which seriously affects the water control effect. Aiming this problem, this paper designs a multi-stage resistance-increasing and composite type AICD. The separation mechanism of oil-water two phases in this structure, the resistance form of oil-water single phase and the resistance-increasing principle of water phase are analyzed. Establishing the dual-phase multi-stage separation and resistance-increasing model, and verified by measuring the throttling pressure drop and oil-water volume fraction of the AICD, it is found that the composite type AICD has the effect of ICD and AICD at the same time, which can balance the production rate of each well section at the initial stage of production, delay the occurrence of bottom water coning. In the middle and later stages of production, water-blocking can be effectively increased to achieve water control and stable *** structural sensitivity analysis, the influence law of various structural parameters on the water control performance of composite AICD was obtained. The simulation calculation results show that,compared with the existing swirl type AICD, composite AICD has higher sensitivity to moisture content,the water phase throttling pressure drop is increased by 4.5 times on average. The composite AICD is suitable for the entire stage of horizontal well production.

Liparis aureolabella and L mengziensis,two new species from the karst region of southwestern China,and L bingzhongluoensis,a new species from montane region in Yunnan,are described and illustrated.L aureolabella is easily distinguished from its relatives by having abaxially purple leave with purple reticulate veins prominent adaxially,a lip auriculate at base,and falcate-lanceolate *** mengziensis is closely related to *** and ***,but differs from them by having an ovate to broadly ovate leaf,purple lip and apex connate along the *** bingzhongluoensis is similar to Liparis nanlingensis,but the new species is characterized by having a lip with two transparent ridges on its disc,longitudinally concave basal callus and triangular column *** analyses based on nuclear ribosomal ITS and plastid matK sequences showed that L aureolabella and L mengziensis are nested with L petiolata or L auriculata in a monophyletic clade.L bingzhongluoensis is sister to a clade formed by ***,***,L sasakii and ***,morphological comparisons strongly support that the three species as separated species newly to science.

Imbalanced rock burst assessment using variational autoencoder-enhanced gradient boosting algorithms and explainability

We conducted a study to evaluate the potential and robustness of gradient boosting algorithms in rock burst assessment,established a variational autoencoder(VAE)to address the imbalance rock burst dataset,and proposed a multilevel explainable artificial intelligence(XAI)tailored for tree-based ensemble *** collected 537 data from real-world rock burst records and selected four critical features contributing to rock burst ***,we employed data visualization to gain insight into the data’s structure and performed correlation analysis to explore the data distribution and feature ***,we set up a VAE model to generate samples for the minority class due to the imbalanced class *** conjunction with the VAE,we compared and evaluated six state-of-theart ensemble models,including gradient boosting algorithms and the classical logistic regression model,for rock burst *** results indicated that gradient boosting algorithms outperformed the classical single models,and the VAE-classifier outperformed the original classifier,with the VAE-NGBoost model yielding the most favorable *** to other resampling methods combined with NGBoost for imbalanced datasets,such as synthetic minority oversampling technique(SMOTE),SMOTE-edited nearest neighbours(SMOTE-ENN),and SMOTE-tomek links(SMOTE-Tomek),the VAE-NGBoost model yielded the best ***,we developed a multilevel XAI model using feature sensitivity analysis,Tree Shapley Additive exPlanations(Tree SHAP),and Anchor to provide an in-depth exploration of the decision-making mechanics of VAE-NGBoost,further enhancing the accountability of treebased ensemble models in predicting rock burst occurrences.

Epiphytic zooplankton community profiles in a typical urban wetland as revealed by DNA metabarcoding

Zooplankton,a crucial component of urban wetland,are one of the effective bioindicators for monitoring the feeding stocks of organisms at higher trophic levels and assessing the ecological quality of ***,information about the characteristics of epiphytic zooplankton community structure resulted from traditional methods is limited and hindered by the large amount of detritus and sludge attached to the *** investigated the epiphytic zooplankton communities associated with macrophytes(Vallisneria,Nymphaea,and Thalia dealbata)in a subtropical wetland using as DNA markers of the 18 S rRNA gene and the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I(COI)gene.A total of 241 OTUs of zooplankton were obtained from COI amplicons,including 194 OTUs of Rotifera,22 of Cladocera,and 25 of Copepoda,while only 62 OTUs of zooplankton were obtained from 18 S rDNA amplicons including 34 OTUs of Rotifera and 28 of *** zooplankton communities associated with the three macrophytes were similar,but they differed significantly from those in the open ***,there were no significant temporal differences among the zooplankton *** zooplankton communities were dominated by littoral zooplankton such as Testudinella,Lecane,and ***,especially littoral species,utilize macrophytes as food sources and as refuges against *** further led to an increase inαandβdiversity of zooplankton communities in urban *** result suggests that the joint use of multiple molecular markers could improve the taxonomic resolution and generate a comprehensive biodiversity profile of zooplankton.

Five new species(Gastrochilus yei,Gastrochilus minimus,Luisia simaoensis,Taeniophyllum xizangense,Tuberolabium subulatum)and two newly recorded species(Cleisostoma tricornutum,Luisia inconspicua)of Vandeae(Orchidaceae)from China are described and *** yei is similar to *** and ***,but differs from them by having an epichile not lobed,the apex of the hypochile not bilobed,and a tine on the apex of the *** minimus is similar to ***,but can be distinguished from the latter by having a flabellate epichile that is densely hirsute on the adaxial surface and an inconspicuous central cushion;in addition,the hypochile of *** has a keel that extends to the apex of the *** xizangense is similar to *** and ***,but it is distinguished from them by having much bigger flowers,inflorescences densely covered with short-bristly hairs,papillae on the external surface of sepals,and bigger triangular-ovate *** simaoensis is similar to L magniflora and L ramosii,but can be easily distinguished from them by having lateral sepals longer than dorsal sepals and petals,lip with irregular and waved margins,and lip with bilobed *** inconspicua is moved from Gastrochilus to Luisia based on phylogenetic analyses of plastid matK sequence *** subulatum is similar to ***,but it can be easily distinguished from the latter by having an inflorescence much shorter than the leaves,yellow sepals and petals,and many small papillae outside the lip lobes.

On linguistic Untranslatability and Some Tentative Compensation

The paper analyzes the linguistic untranslatability at levels of phonetics, morpheme, vocabulary and grammar, etc. through typical examples. The authors advocate adopting manifold translation methods flexibly in handling untranslatability. Some principles are proposed to supplement the loss of meaning during the course of translatability-untranslatability conversion, aiming at further probing and improving translating skills.

Four new species of Orchidaceae from China,Heminium lijiangense,Peristylus fasciculatus,Platanthera milinensis,and Ponerorchis gongshanensis,together with a new country record,Peristylus tenuicallus,are described and illustrated based on morphological and/or phylogenetic *** lijiangense is closely related to *** but differs from it by having the dorsal sepal ovate-orbicular and lip midlobe distinctly shorter than lateral *** is close to Peristylus tradescantifolius but is distinguished from it by having several fascicled and straight,root-like tubers(*** or two oblongoid tubers),old stems usually persistent,middle lobe of lip narrowly ligulate-lanceolate and half as long as the lateral lobes(*** lobe deltoid,about a third as long as the lateral lobes or less),a raised callus at the base of each lateral lobe(*** absent),spur gradually attenuate toward the apex(*** clavate).Platanthera milinensis is similar to *** by sharing small green flowers and lip without a spur,but differs in having a creeping rhizome,a corymbose inflorescence,and a broadly ovate and slightly 3-lobed *** gongshanensis is similar to *** in its small flowers,but differs in having a linear leaf c.3 mm wide(*** 5-13 mm wide),in the lip having collar-like raised margins on the sides of the spur entrance,and a mid-lobe which is notched at the apex but not divided into two divergent lobules that are nearly as large as the lateral lobes,as in *** the proposed species obtained high support in phylogenetic analysis as new *** recently described genus Apetalanthe is reduced to synonymy of Ponerorchis and a new combination is made.

Low-frequency bandgap and vibration suppression mechanism of a novel square hierarchical honeycomb metamaterial

The suppression of low-frequency vibration and noise has always been an important issue in a wide range of engineering *** address this concern,a novel square hierarchical honeycomb metamaterial capable of reducing low-frequency noise has been *** combining Bloch’s theorem with the finite element method,the band structure is *** results indicate that this metamaterial can produce multiple low-frequency bandgaps within 500 Hz,with a bandgap ratio exceeding 50%.The first bandgap spans from 169.57 Hz to 216.42 *** reveal the formation mechanism of the bandgap,a vibrational mode analysis is *** analysis demonstrates that the bandgap is attributed to the suppression of elastic wave propagation by the vibrations of the structure’s two protruding corners and overall expansion ***,detailed parametric analyses are conducted to investigate the effect ofθ,i.e.,the angle between the protruding corner of the structure and the horizontal direction,on the band structures and the total effective bandgap *** is found that reducingθis conducive to obtaining lower frequency *** propagation characteristics of elastic waves in the structure are explored by the group velocity,phase velocity,and wave propagation ***,the transmission characteristics of a finite periodic structure are investigated *** results indicate significant acceleration amplitude attenuation within the bandgap range,confirming the structure’s excellent low-frequency vibration suppression capability.

A coating strategy on titanium implants with enhanced photodynamic therapy and CO-based gas therapy for bacterial killing and inflammation regulation

Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy(aPDT)has been considered a noninvasive and effective modality against the bacterial infection of peri‑implantitis,especially the aPDT triggered by near-infrared(NIR)light due to the large penetration depth in ***,the complexity of hypoxia microenvironments and the distance of aPDT sterilization still pose challenges before realizing the aPDT clinical *** to the long lifespan and transmission distance of therapeutic gas molecules,we design a multi-functional gas generator that combines aPDT as well as O_(2) and CO gas release function,which can solve the problem of hypoxia(O_(2))in PDT and the problem of inflammation regulation(CO)in the distal part of peri‑implant inflammation under near-infrared(NIR)*** the composite nanoplatform that spin-coated on the surface of titanium implants,up-conversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)were involved in converting the NIR to visible,which further excites the partially oxidized stannic sulfide(SnS_(2)),realizing the therapeutic gas *** green(ICG)was further integrated to enhance the aPDT performance(Ti-U@SnS_(2)/I).Therefore,reactive oxygen species(ROS),CO,and O_(2) can be controllably administered via a composite nano-platform mediated by a single NIR light(808 nm).This implant surface modification strategy could achieve great self-enhancement antibacterial effectiveness and regulate the lingering questions,such as relieving the anoxic microenvironment and reaching deep infection sites,providing a viable antibiotic-free technique to combat peri‑implantitis.
