High electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity on a coupled Ru and CoO hybrid electrocatalyst

Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is an essential step in converting renewable energy to clean hydrogen fuel. Exploring highly efficient, stable and cost-effective electrocatalysts is of crucial significance for sustainable HER. Here, we report the design of a coupled ruthenium/cobalt oxide (Ru/CoO) hybrid electrocatalyst for alkaline HER. In this hybrid metal/oxide system, the complicated alkaline HER pathways are overall facilitated;oxygen (O)-vacancy-abundant oxide enhances water splitting and Ru promotes successive hydrogen intermediates to generate hydrogen. The resulting Ru/CoO hybrid electrocatalyst exhibits significantly promoted catalytic activity compared with benchmark Ru catalyst, displaying an overpotential of 55 mV to generate a HER current density of 10 mA cm^-2, comparable with the state-of-the-art Pt/C catalyst and the most efficient alkaline HER electrocatalysts. Furthermore, the strong interaction of Ru nanoparticles with oxide support and the in-situ growth of oxide support on conductive substrate guarantee the long-term stability of as-fabricated Ru/CoO hybrid electrocatalyst. This newly designed hybrid catalyst with abundant metal/oxide interfaces may pave a new pathway for exploring efficient and stable HER electrocatalysts.

The complex wiring,bulky data collection devices,and difficulty in fast and on-site data interpretation significantly limit the practical application of flexible strain sensors as wearable *** tackle these challenges,this work develops an artificial intelligenceassisted,wireless,flexible,and wearable mechanoluminescent strain sensor system(AIFWMLS)by integration of deep learning neural network-based color data processing system(CDPS)with a sandwich-structured flexible mechanoluminescent sensor(SFLC)*** SFLC film shows remarkable and robust mechanoluminescent performance with a simple structure for easy *** CDPS system can rapidly and accurately extract and interpret the color of the SFLC film to strain values with auto-correction of errors caused by the varying color temperature,which significantly improves the accuracy of the predicted strain.A smart glove mechanoluminescent sensor system demonstrates the great potential of the AIFWMLS system in human gesture ***,the versatile SFLC film can also serve as a encryption *** integration of deep learning neural network-based artificial intelligence and SFLC film provides a promising strategy to break the“color to strain value”bottleneck that hinders the practical application of flexible colorimetric strain sensors,which could promote the development of wearable and flexible strain sensors from laboratory research to consumer markets.

AIM： To observe the variation of DNA polymerase β （polβ） in esophageal carcinoma. METHODS： Thirty specimens containing adjacent normal epithelial tissues were collected from patients in Linzhou region （a high risk area for esophageal squamous carcinoma） and 25 specimens were from a non-high risk area. Total RNA was extracted from the samples and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） was performed. PCR products were cloned and sequenced to investigate the po1β gene with DNASIS and OMIGA. Statistical significance was evaluated using the X^2 test. RESULTS： High-inddence area group： Polβ gene variation was detected in 13 of 30 esophageal carcinoma tissue specimens, and only one variation was found in 30 corresponding adjacent normal tissue specimens. Non high-incidence area group： po1β gene variation was detected in 5 of 25 esophageal carcinoma tissue specimens, and no variation was found in 25 corresponding adjacent normal tissue specimens. The incidence of po1β gene variation observed in the high-incidence area group was significantly higher than in the non-high incidence area group. Two mutation hot spots （454-466 and 648-670 nt） and a 58 bp deletion （177-234 nt） were found. CONCLUSION： Variations of polβ perform different functions between the high-incidence areas and the other areas, and may play a more important role in the high-incidence areas.

The synergistic extraction of uranium (VI) from nitric acid aqueous solution with a mixture of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) and petroleum sulfoxides(PSO) in benzene was studied. It has been found that the maximum synergistic extraction effect occurs where the molar ratio of PSO to TBP is one to two. The composition of the complex of synergistic extraction is UO2(NO3)***. The formation constant of the complex KTp=57.44.

Shielding materials are critical for downhole pulsed neutron tool design because they directly influence the accuracy of formation measurements.A well-designed shield configuration ensures that the response of the tool is maximally representative of the formation without being affected by the tool and borehole *** study investigated the effects of boron-containing materials on neutron and gamma detectors based on a newly designed logging-while-drilling tool that is currently undergoing *** the boron content increased,the ability to absorb thermal neutrons increased *** simulation,it was proven that boron carbide(B_(4)C)can be used as an effective boron shielding material for thermal neutrons,and is therefore employed in this *** shield against thermal neutrons migrating from the mud pipes,the optimal shielding thicknesses for the near-and far-neutron detectors were determined to be 5 and 4 *** a porosity of 25 p.u.,near-neutron sensitivity exhibited a 5.6%***,to shield the capture gamma generated by thermal neutrons once they enter the tool from the mud pipe and formation,internal and external shields for the gamma detector were *** results show that the internal shield requires a boron content of 75%,whereas the external shield has a thickness of 14.2 mm thickness and a boron content of 25%to minimize the tool effect.

Recently, iron-containing compounds have tended to be attractive candidates as active cathode materials. Among them, olivine-structured LiFePO_4 is one of the most interesting materials due to its low cost, non-toxicity, high specific capability and good cycle performance. For LiFePO_4, its theoretical capacity is 170 （mA·h）/g and the charge/discharge voltage is about 3.4 V versus Li/Li~＋.

Ionic Liquid Electrospray Thrusters(ILETs)are well suited for micro-nano satellite applications due to their small size,low power consumption,and high specific ***,the limited thrust of a single-emitter ILET restricts its use in space *** optimize the performance of ILETs and make them suitable for a wider range of space missions,we designed a Circular-emitter ILET(CILET)to convert a one-dimensional(point)emission into a twodimensional(line)*** CILET can self-organize multiple Taylor cones *** cones were photographed and the axial emission currents were measured under different voltage and pressure difference conditions with a CILET experimental *** emission can be divided into two stable states and one unstable state based on the flow and current *** current in Stable state Ⅰ increases non-linearly with the voltage,while that in Stable state Ⅱ is nearly linear with respect to the *** number of cones increases with the voltage in stable states,while the cones become short and crowded under high-voltage *** variation law of the number of cones can be explained with the self-organization *** variation in the current exhibits a good correlation with the number of *** study demonstrates the feasibility of circular emitters and experimentally indicates that the emission current is improved by approximately two orders of magnitude compared to that of a single capillary.

公共行政德性正义是公共行政人员应具有的最主要的美德,但公共行政人员德性正义的实现面临着自由裁量权和道德的困境,这些困境是用公共行政制度和外在的法律都难以解决的。"道德代理人"理论则从德性论的维度对公共行政人员应具有什么样的的德性正义提出了要求。从德性论的角度看,"道德代理人"不仅应当遵循道德原则,而且还应当承认道德是他们的委托人。作为从事正义事业的公共行政人员,必然是正义的道德代理人,正义道德是他们行动的最高委托人。"道德代理人"理论的提出,使得公共行政人员德性正义的实现成为可能,也为解决当今公共行政中的道德困境提供了一条理想的路径选择。
