Great differences between municipal solid wastes (MSW) produced at different places and different times in terms of such parameters as physical ingredient and heating value lead to difficulty in effective handling of MSW. In this paper, ingredient, heating value and their temporal varying trends of typical MSW in Beijing were continuously measured and analyzed. With consideration of the process in pyrolysis and incineration, correlation between physical ingredients and heating values was induced, favorable for evaluation of heating value needed in handling of MSW from simple analysis of physical ingredients of it.

The widespread use of computed tomography(CT)in clinical practice has made the public focus on the cumulative radiation dose delivered to ***-dose CT(LDCT)reduces the X-ray radiation dose,yet compromises quality and decreases diagnostic *** have made great efforts to develop various algorithms for LDCT and introduced deep-learning techniques,which have achieved impressive ***,most of these methods are directly performed on reconstructed LDCT images,in which some subtle structures and details are readily lost during the reconstruction procedure,and convolutional neural network(CNN)-based methods for raw LDCT projection data are rarely *** address this problem,we adopted an attention residual dense CNN,referred to as AttRDN,for LDCT sinogram ***,it was aided by the attention mechanism,in which the advantages of both feature fusion and global residual learning were used to extract noise from the contaminated LDCT ***,the denoised sinogram was restored by subtracting the noise obtained from the input noisy ***,the CT image was reconstructed using filtered *** experimental results qualitatively and quantitatively demonstrate that the proposed AttRDN can achieve a better performance than state-of-the-art ***,it can prevent the loss of detailed information and has the potential for clinical application.

In this work,tunable white up-conversion luminescence was achieved in the Yb^(3+),Er^(3+),Tm^(3+),Ho^(3+) codoped Na_(3)La(VO_(4))_(2) phosphors under 980 nm *** emissions of three primary colors are mainly attributed to the ~2H_(11/2)/~4S_(3/2)→~4I_(15/2) transitions of Er^(3+),~1G_(4)→~3H_6 transition of Tm^(3+),and_5F_5→~5I_8 transition of Ho^(3+).White luminescence characteristics and mechanisms of up-conversion system were investigated in *** addition,the temperature sensing behaviors of multiple levels emission combinations for Na_(3)La(VO_(4))_(2):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+),Tm^(3+),Ho^(3+) were analyzed by employing thermally coupled and non-thermally coupled energy *** on the emissions of ~3F_(2,3)/~1G_(4) energy levels,the maximum relative and absolute sensitivities were obtained to be 2.20%/K and 0.279 K^(-1).The design of up-conversion luminescence materials with high-quality white luminescence and excellent sensitivity performance is critical in the field of optical applications.

High-capacity Li-rich cathode materials can significantly improve the energy density of lithium-ion batteries, which is the key limitation to miniaturization of electronic devices and further improvement of electrical-vehicle mileage. However, severe voltage decay hinders the further commercialization of these materials. Insights into the relationship between the inherent structural stability and external appearance of the voltage decay in high-energy Li-rich cathode materials are critical to solve this problem. Here, we demonstrate that structural evolution can be significantly inhibited by the intentional introduction of certain adventive cations （such as Ni2~） or by premeditated reservation of some of the original Li~ ions in the Li slab in the delithiated state. The voltage decay of Li-rich cathode materials over 100 cycles decreased from 500 to 90 or 40 mV upon introducing Ni2~ or retaining some Li~ ions in the Li slab, respectively. The cations in the Li slab can serve as stabilizers to reduce the repulsion between the two neighboring oxygen layers, leading to improved thermodynamic stability. Meanwhile, the cations also suppress transition metal ion migration into the Li slab, thereby inhibiting structural evolution and mitigating voltage decay. These findings provide insights into the origin of voltage decay in Li-rich cathode materials and set new guidelines for designing these materials for high-energy-density Li-ion batteries.

A technical idea of returning stainless steel pickling sludge to smelting process so as to recycle valuable metals of Fe, Cr, and Ni was proposed, expecting to realize sludge detoxification and resource utilization. Thermodynamics calculation showed that not only most valuable elements including Fe, Cr and Ni, but also the harmful element of sulfur in pickling sludge can be enriched into molten metal. As a result, a theoretical study on desulfurization thermodynamics of sludge pretreatment was conducted, and results indicated that complete desulfurization temperature of pure pickling sludge was above 1400℃. When 0.5-0.8% carbon was added as reducing agent, the complete desulfurization temperature was reduced to 1000℃ or below. Desulfurization roasting experiment indicated that desulfurization rate at 1400℃ under inert environment was 78.74% and maximum desulfurization rate at 1000℃ under reducing environment was 91.62%.

Stromal cell-derived factor-1 and its receptor C-X-C chemokine receptor 4(CXCR4) have been shown to regulate neural regeneration after *** r,whether stromal cell-derived factor-1 receptor CXCR7,which is widely distributed in the develo ping and adult central nervous system,participates in neural regeneration remains poorly unde *** this study,we established rat models of focal cerebral ischemia by injecting endothelin-1 into the cerebral co rtex and *** on day 7 after injury,CXCR7-neutralizing antibody was injected into the lateral ventricle using a micro drug delivery system for 6 consecutive *** results showed that CXCR7-neutralizing antibody increased the total length and number of sprouting co rticospinal tra ct fibers in rats with cerebral ischemia,increased the expression of vesicular glutamate transporter 1 and growth-related protein 43,marke rs of the denervated spinal cord synapses,and promoted the differentiation and maturation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells in the *** addition,CXCR7 antibody increased the expression of CXCR4 in the striatum,increased the protein expression of RAS and ERK1/2 associated with the RAS/ERK signaling pathway,and im proved rat motor *** findings suggest that CXCR7 improved neural functional recovery after ischemic stroke by promoting axonal regeneration,synaptogenesis,and myelin regeneration,which may be achieved by activation of CXCR4 and the RAS/ERK1/2 signaling pathway.
