AIM： To investigate the therapeutic effect of tetrandrine on liver fibrosis induced by thioacetamide in rats in vivo and in vitro. METHODS： In vitro study： we investigated the effect of tetrandrine on the apoptosis of rat hepatic stellate cells transformed by simian virus 40 （T-HSC/CI-6）, which retains the features of activated cells. In vivo study： hepatic fibrosis was induced in rats by thioacetamide. Tetrandrine was given orally to rats at doses of 5, 10 or 20 mg/kg for 4 wk compared with intraperitoneal injection of interferon-r. RESULTS： In vitro study： 5, 10 or 25 μg/mL of tetrandrine-induced activation of caspase-3 in t-HSC/CI-6 cells occurred dose-dependently. In vivo study： tetrandrine treatment as well as interferon-r significantly ameliorated the development of fibrosis as determined by lowered serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase （AST）, alanine aminotransferase （ALT）, total bilirubin （T-Bil） and the levels of liver hydroxyproline （Hyp）, hyaluronic acid （HA）, laminin （LN） and also improved histological findings. The effects of tetrandrine at the concentration of 20 mg/kg were better than the other concentration groups. CONCLUSION： Tetrandrine promotes the apoptosis of activated HSCs in vitro. Tetrandrine administration can prevent liver fibrosis and liver damage induced by thioacetamide in rats in vivo, indicating that it might exert a direct effect on rat HSCs.

AIM： To study the morphological and serum hyaluronic acid （HA）, laminin （LN）, and type IV collagen changes in hepatic fibrosis of rats induced by dimethylnitrosamine （DMN）.METHODS： The rat model of liver fibrosis was induced by DMN. Serum HA, type IV collagen, and LN were measured by ELISA. The liver/weight index and morphological changes were examined under electron microscope on d 7, 14, 21, and 28 by immunohistochemical alpha smooth muscle actin α-SMA staining as well as Sirius-red and HE ***： The levels of serum HA, type IV collagen and LN significantly increased from d 7 to d 28 （P = 0.043）. The liver/weight index increased on d 7 and decreased on d 28. In the model group, the rat liver stained with lie and Sirius-red showed evident hemorrhage and necrosis in the central vein of hepatic 10 Iobules on d 7. Thin fibrotic septa were formed joining central areas of the liver on d 14. The number of α-SMA positive cells was markedly increased in the model group. Transitional hepatic stellate cells were observed under electron microscope. All rats in the model group showed micronodular fibrosis in the hepatic parenchyma and a network of α-SMA positive cells. Typical myofibroblasts were embedded in the core of a fibrous septum. Compared to the control group, the area-density percentage of collagen fibrosis and pathologic grading were significantly different in the model group （P〈0.05） on different d （7, 14, and 28）. The area-density percentage of collagen fibrosis in hepatic tissue had a positive correlation with the levels of serum HA, LN, and type IV ***： The morphological and serum HA, type IV collagen, and LN are changed in DMN-induced liver fibrosis in rats.

Commonsense question answering(CQA)requires understanding and reasoning over QA context and related commonsense knowledge,such as a structured Knowledge Graph(KG).Existing studies combine language models and graph neural networks to model ***,traditional knowledge graph are mostly concept-based,ignoring direct path evidence necessary for accurate *** this paper,we propose MRGNN(Meta-path Reasoning Graph Neural Network),a novel model that comprehensively captures sequential semantic information from concepts and *** MRGNN,meta-paths are introduced as direct inference evidence and an original graph neural network is adopted to aggregate features from both concepts and paths *** conduct sufficient experiments on the CommonsenceQA and OpenBookQA datasets,showing the effectiveness of ***,we conduct further ablation experiments and explain the reasoning behavior through the case study.

Ferrite features in the simulated transition zone welded with CaF_(2)-SiO_(2)-MnO fluxes containing various MnO contents have been *** laser scanning microscopy has been applied to simulate the thermal cycling of the transition zone and the phase transformations during cooling have been in-situ *** has been found that the appearance temperature for ferrite side plate decreases with increasing Mn content in the weld metals caused by MnO content ***,growth rates for both ferrite side plate and acicular ferrite are significantly enhanced with a higher Mn content of weld ***,from the statistical fractions of salient microstructures,for all samples,the acicular ferrite,grain boundary ferrite,and polygonal ferrite take over more than 90%.It has also been demonstrated that with the increase in Mn content,the ferrite side plate fraction increases slightly from 5%to 10%and the acicular ferrite fraction shows a tendency of first increasing and then decreasing,which experiences the maximum with the flux containing 30 wt.%*** phenomenon is believed to be controlled by the O and Mn contents in weld metals synergistically.

Autonomous navigation is a fundamental problem in *** methods generally build point cloud map or dense feature map in perceptual space;due to lack of cognition and memory formation mechanism,traditional methods exist poor robustness and low cognitive *** a new navigation technology that draws inspiration from mammal’s navigation,bionic navigation method can map perceptual information into cognitive space,and have strong autonomy and environment *** improve the robot’s autonomous navigation ability,this paper proposes a cognitive map-based hierarchical navigation ***,the mammals’navigation-related grid cells and head direction cells are modeled to provide the robots with location *** then a global path planning strategy based on cognitive map is proposed,which can anticipate one preferred global path to the target with high efficiency and short ***,a hierarchical motion controlling method is proposed,with which the target navigation can be divided into several sub-target navigation,and the mobile robot can reach to these sub-targets with high confidence ***,some experiments are implemented,the results show that the proposed path planning method can avoid passing through obstacles and obtain one preferred global path to the target with high efficiency,and the time cost does not increase extremely with the increase of experience nodes *** motion controlling results show that the mobile robot can arrive at the target successfully only depending on its self-motion information,which is an effective attempt and reflects strong bionic properties.

This paper studies the local receptivity of the Mack-mode instability to localized unsteady blowing and suction(UBS)in a chem-ical non-equilibrium(CNE)hypersonic boundary *** five-species CNE model is employed,and the receptivity efficiency is formulated by use of the residual *** with the results for the calorically perfect gas(CPG)model,we find that the real-gas effect enhances the receptivity efficiency remarkably in the majority of the second-mode frequency band,and the enhancement is mainly attributed to the modification of the base flow due to the CNE effect,which is akin to the cold-wall effect in hypersonic boundary *** with the destabilizing role of the CNE effect on the Mack second mode,it is concluded that the CNE effect would lead to a greater linearly accumulated perturbation amplitude,implying premature of transition to turbulence in a high-enthalpy hypersonic boundary layer subject to localized perturbations.

Polyelectrolyte(PE)gels,distinguished by their unique stimuli-responsive swelling behavior,serve as the basis of broad applications,such as artificial muscles and drug *** this work,we present a theoretical model to analyze the electrostatics and its contribution to the swelling behavior of PE gels in salt *** minimizing the free energy of PE gels,we obtain two distinct scaling regimes for the swelling ratio at equilibrium with respect to the salt *** compare our predictions for the swelling ratio with experimental measurements,which show excellent *** addition,we employ a finite element method to assess the applicability range of our theoretical model and *** anticipate that our model will also provide valuable insights into drug adsorption and release,deformation of red blood cells,4D printing and soft robotics,where the underlying mechanism of swelling remains enigmatic.

The rapid development of the Internet has accelerated the spread of rumors,posing challenges to social cohesion and *** address this,a multi-channel rumor propagation model incorporating individual game behavior and time delay is *** depicts individuals strategically choosing propagation channels in the rumor spread process,capturing real-world intricacies more ***,the model allowing spreaders to choose between text and video information base *** adoption hinges on benefits versus costs,with payoffs dictating strategy and the propagation process determining an individual's *** theoretical analysis of the model,the propagation threshold and equilibrium points are *** the stability of the model is further demonstrated based on Routh-Hurwitz judgment and Descartes'Rule of *** simulations are conducted to verify the correctness of the theoretical results and the sensitivity of the model to key *** outcomes reveal that increasing the propagation cost of spreaders can significantly curb the spread of *** contrast to the classical ISR model,rumors spread faster and more widely in the improved multi-channel rumor propagation model in this paper,which is a feature more aligned with real-world ***,the validity and predictive ability of the model are verified by using real rumor propagation data sets,indicating that the improved multi-channel rumor propagation model has good practical application and predictive value.
