Auscultation is crucial for the diagnosis of respiratory system ***,traditional stethoscopes have inherent limitations,such as inter-listener variability and subjectivity,and they cannot record respiratory sounds for offline/retrospective diagnosis or remote prescriptions in *** emergence of digital stethoscopes has overcome these limitations by allowing physicians to store and share respiratory sounds for consultation and *** this basis,machine learning,particularly deep learning,enables the fully-automatic analysis of lung sounds that may pave the way for intelligent *** review thus aims to provide a comprehensive overview of deep learning algorithms used for lung sound analysis to emphasize the significance of artificial intelligence(AI)in this *** focus on each component of deep learning-based lung sound analysis systems,including the task categories,public datasets,denoising methods,and,most importantly,existing deep learning methods,i.e.,the state-of-the-art approaches to convert lung sounds into two-dimensional(2D)spectrograms and use convolutional neural networks for the end-to-end recognition of respiratory diseases or abnormal lung ***,this review highlights current challenges in this field,including the variety of devices,noise sensitivity,and poor interpretability of deep *** address the poor reproducibility and variety of deep learning in this field,this review also provides a scalable and flexible open-source framework that aims to standardize the algorithmic workflow and provide a solid basis for replication and future extension:https://***/contactless-healthcare/Deep-Learning-for-Lung-Sound-Analysis.

Rhizosphere microbes influence wogonoside accumulation in perennial Scutellaria baicalensis

Dried roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi are an acclaimed traditional Chinese medicine,and wogonoside content is a key indicator used to evaluate *** *** than rising linearly with cultivation years,*** quality initially increases and then ***,little is known regarding the dynamic variations in *** rhizosphere microorganisms under long-term cultivation and underlying mechanisms of their effects on wogonoside formation and *** aim of this study was to investigate the roles of soil nutrients and rhizosphere microbes on *** quality across different cultivation years(1-4 years).The wogonoside content(25.14 mg g^(-1))was highest in the biennial *** and then decreased following long-term *** soil nutrients(available nitrogen,available phosphorus,available iron,available manganese,and available zinc)were reduced significantly as cultivation years *** also affected rhizosphere bacterial community structure significantly,driving it toward deterministic process(i.e.,β-nearest taxon index<-2).Available manganese and exchangeable calcium indirectly affected wogonoside formation and *** inhibition was driven by the reduction in rhizosphere bacterial diversity,which significantly increased the relative abundance of beta-glucosidase and decreased the relative abundance of phenylalanine *** rhizosphere microenvironment was altered under long-term cultivation,thereby shaping rhizosphere bacterial community,reducing the community diversity,and ultimately inhibiting wogonoside formation and *** findings may aid in understanding of the mechanisms and reasons for the reduction in *** quality under long-term cultivation from the perspective of soil nutrients and microorganisms,which may theoretically support the future artificial cultivation and management of Chinese medicinal plants.

Exploring the role of interleukin-6 receptor blockade in epilepsy and associated neuropsychiatric conditions through a mendelian randomization study

利用中国东北地区34个地级及以上城市的面板数据,实证分析东北老工业基地振兴战略下政府主导和市场化进程对产业结构升级的影响。研究结果表明:东北老工业基地振兴战略实施过程中,地方政府通过公共财政支出执行相关的产业振兴政策,主导地方经济结构的转型发展,能够促进东北老工业基地产业结构的升级;提升区域市场化水平,发挥市场在资源配置中的决定性作用,弱化产业部门间要素流动的阻碍,实现市场经济下的资源优化配置,同样能够有效促进东北老工业基地产业结构升级。而且对东北地区资源型城市和非资源型城市分区域的异质性检验,以及动态面板数据回归的估计结果均支持上述研究结论。

Carbon allocation in Picea jezoensis:Adaptation strategies of a non-treeline species at its upper elevation limit

Understanding the physiological adaptations of non-treeline trees to environmental stress is important to understand future shifts in species composition and distribution of current treeline *** aim of the present study was to elucidate the mechanisms of the formation of the upper elevation limit of non-treeline tree species,Picea jezoensis,and the carbon allocation strategies of the species on Changbai *** employed the^(13)C in situ pulse labeling technique to trace the distribution of photosynthetically assimilated carbon in Picea jezoensis at different elevational positions(tree species at its upper elevation limit(TSAUE,1,700 m a.s.l.)under treeline ecotone;tree species at a lower elevation position(TSALE,1,400 m a.s.l.).We analyzed^(13)C and the non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)concentrations in various tissues following *** findings revealed a significant shift in carbon allocation in TSAUE compared to *** was a pronounced increase inδ^(13)C allocation to belowground components(roots,soil,soil respiration)in TSAUE compared to ***,the C flow rate within the plant-soil-atmosphere system was faster,and the C residence time in the plant was shorter in *** trends indicate enhanced C sink activity in belowground tissues in TSAUE,with newly assimilated C being preferentially directed there,suggesting a more conservative C allocation strategy by *** at higher elevations under harsher *** a strategy,prioritizing C storage in roots,likely aids in withstanding winter cold stress at the expense of aboveground growth during the growing season,leading to reduced growth of TSAUE compared to *** results of the present study shed light on the adaptive mechanisms governing the upper elevation limits of non-treeline trees,and enhances our understanding of how non-treeline species might respond to ongoing climate change.
