Real-world insights for the evolving intervention strategy for non-mild acute pancreatitis: 35-year experience in a Chinese Tertiary Center

Background: With the accumulation of experience and evidence, guidelines for invasive intervention for acute pancreatitis (AP) have continuously evolved, followed in Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). We aimed to review AP case series to help understand the impact of guideline evolution on the management and prognosis of AP in real-world ***: This was a single-center study of AP patients who had received invasive interventions from 1988 to 2022. Patient demographics, baseline severity, imaging findings, and the indication, timing, and specific modalities of invasive interventions were collected. The composite primary endpoint was death during hospitalization or major complications after intervention. Other endpoints included pancreatic fistula, incision infection, number of interventions, length of intensive care stay, length of hospitalization, and total medical ***: A total of 195 patients were included. The most common indication for invasive intervention was suspected infection, followed by persistent symptoms. The step-up and delayed strategies reduced the incidence of major complications or death. Over 35 years, the number of patients requiring surgery has gradually declined, and more patients need only minimally invasive procedures for remission. The incidence of the primary outcome decreased as well as the duration of ***: The management of AP patients at PUMCH in the last 35 years has undergone therapeutic guideline changes that support the efficacy and safety of the deferred step-up strategy in real-world practice.

Prescribed-time leader-following consensus of linear multi-agent systems by bounded linear time-varying protocols

This paper considers the prescribed-time leader-following consensus problem of input-constrained linear multi-agent systems under generally directed communication topology in two cases:the Laplacian matrix related to the entire communication topology between agents is either known or *** particular,the consensus problem for the former case is solved by a novel bounded linear time-varying(LTV) protocol,where the feedback gain is formulated by the parametric Lyapunov equation and the knowledge of the Laplacian ***,by utilizing a distributed observer,a fully bounded LTV protocol is proposed for the latter *** should be noted that,compared with the existing results,the system under consideration is more general,the designed protocols are linear,and the consensus problem is accomplished even in a fully distributed ***,the effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by a numerical example.

Study on site selection planning of urban electric vehicle charging station

The large-scale development of electric vehicles(EVs)requires numerous charging stations to serve them,and the charging stations should be reasonably laid out and planned according to the charging demand of electric *** the costs of both operators and users,a site selection model for optimal layout planning of charging stations is constructed,and a queuing theory approach is used to determine the charging pile configuration to meet the charging demand in the planning *** solve the difficulties of particle swarm global optimization search,the improved random drift particle swarm optimization(IRDPSO)and Voronoi diagram are used to jointly solve for the optimal layout of electric *** final arithmetic analysis verifies the feasibility and practicality of the model and algorithm,and the results show that the total social cost is minimized when the charging station is 9,the location of the charging station is close to the center of gravity and the layout is reasonable.

加快绿色技术城际流动,使更多城市能够共享绿色技术,不仅是践行绿色发展战略、实现双碳目标的关键举措,也是促进要素跨区域流动、建设全国统一大市场的关键抓手。论文通过城际绿色专利转让刻画城际绿色技术流动,分析了2001—2020年长江经济带城际绿色技术流动的时空发展动态,并构建回归模型从技术集聚的视角研究了绿色技术流动的减排效应。研究发现:①长江经济带域内绿色技术流动主要由长三角地区主导,绿色技术跨区域流动不畅,跨区域绿色技术扩散经历了“随机流动→向长三角集聚→混流型”的发展路径;②长江经济带—全国绿色技术扩散活动高度集聚在长三角地区,成渝地区逐渐崛起,京津地区和珠三角地区则是长江经济带绿色技术流动的主要合作伙伴,因而形成了以京津、长三角、珠三角、成渝地区为枢纽的菱形网络;③回归结果表明,城市从外部获取绿色技术带来的本地减排效应存在规模门槛效应,即城市从外部获取的绿色技术达到一定规模后才能实现本地碳减排。文章揭示了长江经济带绿色技术流动与碳排放间的关系,对“双碳”背景下优化长江经济带区域绿色协同发展战略具有一定启示。

Evaluation of the injection and plugging ability of a novel epoxy resin in cement cracks

Sustained casing pressure(SCP)is a crucial issue in the oil and gas production *** resins,exhibiting exceptional compressive strength,ductility,and shear bonding strength,have the potential to form reliable *** injectivity and sealing capacity of the epoxy resin is crucial parameters for the success of shallow remediation *** study aimed to develop and assess a novel solid-free resin sealant as an alternative to Portland cement for mitigating fluid *** investigation evaluated the viscosity,compressive strength,and brittleness index of the epoxy resin sealant,as well as its tangential and normal shear strengths in conjunction with casing *** flow characteristics and sealing abilities of conventional cement and epoxy resin were comparatively analyzed in *** results showed that the application of a viscosity reducer facilitated control over the curing time of the epoxy resin,ranging from 1.5 to 6 h,and reduced the initial viscosity from 865.53 to 118.71 m Pa,*** mechanical properties of the epoxy resin initially increased with a rise in curing agent content before experiencing a minor *** epoxy resin containing 30%curing agent exhibited optimal mechanical *** a 14-day curing period,the epoxy resin's compressive strength reached81.37 MPa,2.12 times higher than that of cement,whereas the elastic modulus of cement was 2.99 times greater than that of the epoxy *** brittleness index of epoxy resin is only 3.42,demonstrating high flexibility and *** tangential and normal shear strengths of the epoxy resin exceeded those of cement by 3.17 and 2.82 times,*** a 0.5 mm-wide crack,the injection pressure of the epoxy resin remained below 0.075 MPa,indicating superior injection and flow ***,the injection pressure of cement surged dramatically to 2.61 MPa within 5 *** breakthrough pressure of0.5 PV epoxy resin reached 7.53 MPa,decreasing the crack's perme

连续变量量子秘密共享方案基于物理学基本定律,能够保证密钥信息的无条件安全.然而,在实际连续变量量子秘密共享方案中,量子态的制备往往并非是理想、完美的,会引入额外的过噪声,影响方案的安全性,因此有必要对其进行分析.本文提出基于非理想量子态制备的实际连续变量量子秘密共享方案.具体而言,在所提出的方案中假定有多个用户,并且任意一个用户的非理想量子态制备,可以描述为相对应的不可信第三方采用相位非敏感放大器,对该用户的理想调制器与激光器进行放大操作.每个用户由于非理想量子态制备所引入的等效过噪声,可以通过相对应的相位非敏感放大器的增益参数进行全面与定量地计算.研究结果表明,连续变量量子秘密共享方案对非理想量子态制备所引入的过噪声非常敏感,因此不可避免地会降低其性能和安全性.幸运的是,本文利用相位非敏感放大器特定的增益公式,获得所提出方案对非理想量子态制备所引入的额外过噪声容忍度的上界限,有效解决由非理想量子态制备所带来的安全隐患.由于考虑了非理想量子态制备所引入的额外过噪声,因此相比于理想连续变量量子秘密共享方案,所提出的方案能够得到更紧的密钥率曲线.这些结果表明,本文所提出的方案能够对连续变量量子秘密共享方案的实际安全性进行改进与完善,为其实用化发展提供理论依据.

KeyEE:Enhancing Low-Resource Generative Event Extraction with Auxiliary Keyword Sub-Prompt

Event Extraction(EE)is a key task in information extraction,which requires high-quality annotated data that are often costly to *** classification-based methods suffer from low-resource scenarios due to the lack of label semantics and fine-grained *** recent approaches have endeavored to address EE through a more data-efficient generative process,they often overlook event keywords,which are vital for *** tackle these challenges,we introduce KeyEE,a multi-prompt learning strategy that improves low-resource event extraction by Event Keywords Extraction(EKE).We suggest employing an auxiliary EKE sub-prompt and concurrently training both EE and EKE with a shared pre-trained language *** the auxiliary sub-prompt,KeyEE learns event keywords knowledge implicitly,thereby reducing the dependence on annotated ***,we investigate and analyze various EKE sub-prompt strategies to encourage further research in this *** experiments on benchmark datasets ACE2005 and ERE show that KeyEE achieves significant improvement in low-resource settings and sets new state-of-the-art results.

“Survival”and“death”in Céline’s novels

Louis-Ferdinand Céline,a French writer of the twentieth century,was an important author during the two world wars in *** works,set against the backdrop of these wars,depict the various aspects of human nature during wartime.“Survival”and“Death”are important themes discussed in Céline’s *** the background of wars,“survival”becomes the instinct of characters in Céline’s works,but the threat of death is always *** the perspective of a doctor,Céline materializes“survival”and“death,”using metaphors such as“devouring,”“decomposition,”and“corrosion”to illustrate the viewpoint of“death on the installment plan,”vividly depicting the“imagination”and“fear”between“survival”and“death,”presenting the disasters and sufferings caused by wars,and expressing strong antiwar sentiments within a pessimistic view of life and *** using semiotic isotope as a tool,we study the thematic generation process of“survival and death,”analyzing the“surface-level image paths”of the text through the“discourse images,”and then delving into the deeper layers of the text to discover the inherent and shared nuclear seme features of these images and their repetition of information,namely semiotic isotope.

Differences in progress across sustainable development goals(SDGs)are widespread globally;meanwhile,the rising call for prioritizing specific SDGs may exacerbate such ***,how these progress differences would influence global sustainable development has been long ***,we present the first quantitative assessment of SDGs’progress differences globally by adopting the SDGs progress evenness *** results highlight that the uneven progress across SDGs has been a hindrance to sustainable development because(1)it is strongly associated with many public health risks(e.g.,air pollution),social inequalities(e.g.,gender inequality,modern slavery,wealth gap),and a reduction in life expectancy;(2)it is also associated with deforestation and habitat loss in terrestrial and marine ecosystems,increasing the challenges related to biodiversity conservation;(3)most countries with low average SDGs performance show lower progress evenness,which further hinders their fulfillment of SDGs;and(4)many countries with high average SDGs performance also showcase stagnation or even retrogression in progress evenness,which is partly ascribed to the antagonism between climate actions and other *** findings highlight that while setting SDGs priorities may be more realistic under the constraints of multiple global stressors,caution must be exercised to avoid new problems from intensifying uneven progress across ***,our study reveals that the urgent needs regarding SDGs of different regions seem complementary,emphasizing that regional collaborations(e.g.,demand-oriented carbon trading between SDGs poorly performed and well-performed countries)may promote sustainable development achievements at the global scale.

Injury and protection of spiral ganglion neurons

Cochlear spiral ganglion neurons(SGNs)are bipolar ganglion cells and are the first neurons in the auditory transduction *** transmit complex acoustic information from hair cells to second-order sensory neurons in the cochlear nucleus for sound *** to SGNs causes largely irreversible hearing impairment because these neurons are highly differentiated cells and cannot regenerate,making treatment of sensorineural hearing loss(SNHL)arising from SGN injury *** exposed to ototoxic drugs or damaging levels of noise or when there is loss of neurotrophic factors(NTFs),aging,and presence of other factors,SGNs can be irreversibly damaged,resulting in *** has been found that NTFs and stem cells can induce regeneration among dead spiral ganglion *** this paper,we summarized the present knowledge regarding injury,protection,and regeneration of SGNs.
