Cytokeratin-positive interstitial reticulum cells （CIRCs） are considered to represent a subset of fibroblastic reticulum cells （FBRCs） belonging to accessory dendritic cells in lymph nodes, the spleen and tonsils.1-3 The tumors arising from CIRCs are so rare that they are easily misdiagnosed as tumors originating from other accessory dendritic cells, myofibroblasts or even metastatic poor-differentiated carcinomas due to their similar histomorphologic features. We report herein one new case of a CIRC tumor （CIRCT） located in the retroperitoneum and analyze the clinicopathologic characteristics, pathogenesis, treatment and prognosis by reviewing the literature.

Objective:The purpose of the study was to assess diagnostic performance of MSCT images in patients with parotid benign tumors and provide useful criteria for the characterization of their various pathological types preoperatively. Methods: Retrospectively analyzed clinical and imaging characteristics of 84 cases of pathologically confirmed primary parotid benign tumors. MSCT plain-scan and enhanced-scan were performed in all cases. After injection of 50 mL contrast material at a rate of 3.5 mL/s,spiral CT scans were obtained at arterial and venous phases with scanning delay of 30 s and 75 s,respectively. The attenuation change and enhancement patterns in the tumors were assessed. Quantitatively assess the increased CT number of the tumors in different enhanced-phases compared with the plain-scan and the ratio of increased CT number at venous phase scanning to that at arterial phase scanning also was calculated. Results:In all of 84 cases,40 cases were solitary pleomorphic adenomas,29 cases were adenolyphomas,6 cases were multiple tumors,2 cases were bilateral,15 cases were Basal cell tumor,and one of them had two small lesions. The diameter was 1–5 cm in most of cases,whose margin was smooth and clear,cystic changes in some cases. At two-phase scans,pleomorphic adenomas showed a pattern of slight enhancement and venous enhancement,adenolymphomas showed a pattern of strong enhancement at arterial phase scanning with a decrease at venous phase scanning,basal cell tumor showed a pattern of persistent strong enhancement with commonly significant cystic areas. The ratio of increased CT number was significant different between adenolymphomas and other pathological types. Conclusion: The evaluation of enhancement patterns at two-phase enhanced-scan MSCT is helpful in the differential diagnosis of parotid gland benign tumors.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of manual acupuncture on endometrial blood flow parameters by three-dimensional(3D) power Doppler ultrasound in women undergoing in vitro fertilization embryo transfer(IVF-ET). Methods: Seventy patients undergoing IVF-ET were equally randomized into traditional or sham acupuncture treatment group for totally 4 days(from the day of oocyte aspiration to the day of embryo transfer) of treatment by random envelope method at the Reproductive Medicine Center and Outpatient Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medicine College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2013 to December 2015. Patients in the traditional acupuncture group accepted traditional acupuncture methods with manual acupuncture, and Zhongji(CV3), Qihai(CV 6), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Taichong(LR 3), Tianshu(ST 25), Guilai(ST 29) and Zusanli(ST 36) were chosen. Patients at the sham acupuncture group accepted shallow acupuncture methods at 4 non-meridian points at each shoulder and upper arm. Outcome measures included endometrial ultrasonic indices such as vascularization index(VI), flow index(FI) and vascularization flow index(VFI), endometrial thickness and volume, subendometrial VI(sVI), subendometrial FI(sFI), subendometrial VFI(sVFI), implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and number of live births. Results: Finally, 34 patients in the traditional acupuncture group and 35 in the sham acupuncture group completed this trial. VI, FI and VFI of the traditional acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in the sham acupuncture group(P0.05). Monogenic disorders refer to a group of human diseases caused by mutations in single genes. While disease-modifying therapies have offered some relief from symptoms and delayed progression for some monogenic diseases, most of these diseases still lack effective treatments. In recent decades, gene therapy has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for genetic disorders. Researchers have developed various gene manipulation tools and gene delivery systems to treat monogenic diseases. Despite this progress, concerns about inefficient delivery, persistent expression, immunogenicity, toxicity, capacity limitation, genomic integration, and limited tissue specificity still need to be addressed. This review gives an overview of commonly used gene therapy and delivery tools, along with the challenges they face and potential strategies to counter them.

To improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of Al-Si-Cu alloy,it was treated by a high-pressure torsion process,and the effect of the deformation degree on the microstructure and properties of the Al-Si-Cu alloy was *** results show that the reinforcements(β-Si andθ-CuAl_(2)phases)of the Al-Si-Cu alloy are dispersed in theα-Al matrix phase with finer phase size after the *** processed samples exhibit grain sizes in the submicron or even nanometer range,which effectively improves the mechanical properties of the *** hardness and strength of the deformed alloy are both significantly raised to 268 HV and 390.04 MPa by 10 turns HPT process,and the fracture morphology shows that the material gradually transits from brittle to plastic before and after *** elements interdiffusion at the interface between the phases has also been effectively *** addition,it is found that the severe plastic deformation at room temperature induces a ternary eutectic reaction,resulting in the formation of ternary Al+Si+CuAl_(2)eutectic.

This article examines the abundant marine mollusc,and fish remains at the Jingtoushan shell midden(8,300 to7,800 cal a BP)in Zhejiang Province,China,to investigate the fishing economy,community development,the palaeoenvironment,and their interactions among the prehistoric populations in the lower Yangtze River Basin and southeastern coastal *** also attempts to explore the prosperity and decline of coastal settlements in China during the Neolithic Age and the potential reasons for their rise and fall,*** on the ecological and biological principles of marine animals,standard zooarchaeological methods and radiocarbon dating analysis are used for sampling,identification,measurement,and *** show that at least 11 mollusc taxa and 14 fish taxa can be identified from the Jingtoushan faunal *** ancient Jingtoushan residents possibly lived in a settlement close to the coast and engaged in inshore and offshore fishing,hunting,and gathering as their primary subsistence strategies,with low-level rice cultivation as a supplementary means of ***,the changes in the coastal environment could be one of the reasons why the Jingtoushan residents abandoned their *** research contributes to Chinese Neolithic archaeology with new evidence of the exploitation of marine resources around 8000 a BP in the eastern coastal areas and the relationship between Neolithic community development and environmental changes.

Transition metal carbide/nitride cores within MXenes make them considerably useful for ultra-high-temperature ***,extensive research on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene has revealed its tendency to undergo a phase transition to TiCy at temperatures above 800℃due to high activity of a superficial Ti atomic ***,spark plasma sintering of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and TiC is performed to prevent the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) phase transition at temperatures up to 1900℃through the fabrication of composites at a pressure of 50 *** a focused ion beam scanning electron microscope to separate layered substances in the composites and examining selected area diffraction spots in a transmission electron microscope enabled identification of non-phase-transitioned ***-principles calculations based on density functional theory indicated the formation of strong chemical bonding interfaces between Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and TiC,which imposed a stability constraint on the Ti atomic layer at the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) *** performance tests,such as three-point bending and fracture toughness analysis,demonstrated that the addition of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) can effectively improve the cross-scale strengthening and toughening of the TiC matrix,providing a new path for designing and developing two-dimensional(2D)carbides cross-scale-enhanced three-dimensional(3D)carbides with the same elements relying on a wide variety of MXenes.

The opaque property plays an important role in the operation of a security-critical system,implying that pre-defined secret information of the system is not able to be inferred through partially observing its *** paper addresses the verification of current-state,initial-state,infinite-step,and K-step opacity of networked discrete event systems modeled by labeled Petri nets,where communication losses and delays are *** on the symbolic technique for the representation of states in Petri nets,an observer and an estimator are designed for the verification of current-state and initial-state opacity,***,we propose a structure called an I-observer that is combined with secret states to verify whether a networked discrete event system is infinite-step opaque or K-step *** to the utilization of symbolic approaches for the state-based opacity verification,the computation of the reachability graphs of labeled Petri nets is avoided,which dramatically reduces the computational overheads stemming from networked discrete event systems.
