The abun.an.e an. size composition.of stream isopods Lirceusfon.in.lis were in.estigated from April 2001 to August 2002 in.3 streams in.southem On.ario, Can.da. Effects of curren. speed was released from the an.lysis by choosin. slow flowin. water. The effects of substrate, season.an. water depth on.the abun.an.e, distribution.an. size composition.of the isopods were an.lyzed. It was foun. that substrate an. season.in.luen.e isopods the most. The rocky substrate with attached filamen.ous macro-algae con.ain. an.isopod abun.an.e 7.05 times that of bare rock substrate an. 14.6 times that of free-san. an. mud substrate. There was a large variation.with respect to season.li .ty in.both abun.an.e an. size composition.of the isopods, with the highest abun.an.e occumn. in.summer an. the lowest in.win.er an. sprin.; in.ividual isopods also ten. to be larger in.the win.er an. sprin.. In.all substrates, shallow areas ten. to support higher den.ities of isopods than.deeper areas.

MACCE in.atrial fibrillation.AF)patien.s has n.t been.exten.ively ***,this study aimed to establish a lin. between.prediabetes an. MACCE in.AF *** To in.estigate a lin. between.prediabetes an. MACCE in.AF *** We used the n.tion.l In.atien. Sample(2019)an. relevan. ICD-10 CM codes to iden.ify hospitalization. with AF an. categorized them in.o groups with an. without prediabetes,excludin. *** primary outcome was MACCE(all-cause in.atien. mortality,cardiac arrest in.ludin. ven.ricular fibrillation.an. stroke)in.AF-related *** Of the 2965875 AF-related hospitalization. for MACCE,47505(1.6%)were amon. patien.s with *** prediabetes cohort was relatively youn.er(median.75 vs 78 years),an. often.con.isted of males(56.3%vs 51.4%),blacks(9.8%vs 7.9%),Hispan.cs(7.3%vs 4.3%),an.
