The.available.diagnosis crite.ia have.limitations and should be.e.aluate. in pe.iatric populations. He.e. we.que.ie. gridde. global climate.datase.s (Te.raClimate. e.A5, GPM-IMe.G, and GLDAS) to e.timate.various 20-ye.r climate.statistics and obtain comple.e.CLIGe. input parame.e. se.s with cove.age.of the.African and South Ame.ican contine.ts at 0.25 arc de.re. re.olution. The.e.timation of CLIGe. pre.ipitation parame.e.s was informe. by a ground-base. datase. of >10,000 locations worldwide. The.ground obse.vations provide. targe. value. to fit re.re.sion mode.s that downscale.CLIGe. pre.ipitation input parame.e.s. Aside.from pre.ipitation parame.e.s, CLIGe.’s parame.e.s for te.pe.ature. solar radiation, e.c. we.e.in most case. dire.tly calculate. according to the.original global datase.s. Cross-validation for e.timate. pre.ipitation parame.e.s quantifie. e.rors that re.ulte. from applying the.e.timation approach in a pre.ictive.fashion. Base. on all training data, the.RMSe.was 2.23 mm for the.e.timate. monthly ave.age.single.e.e.t accumulation and 4.70 mm/hr for monthly maximum 30-min inte.sity.
