The developmen. of a n.n.secon. discharge in.a pin.to-pin.gap filled with air at atmospheric pressure has been.studied with high temporal an. spatial resolution. from a breakdown.start to the spark *** an. n.gative n.n.secon. voltage pulses with an.amplitude of ten. of kilovolts were ***-resolved images of the discharge developmen. were taken.with a fourchan.el In.en.ified Charge Coupled Device(ICCD)*** min.mum delay between.the camera chan.els could be as short as≈0.1 *** made it possible to study the gap breakdown.process with subn.n.secon. *** was observed that a wide-diameter streamer develops from the high-voltage poin.ed *** ion.zation.processes n.ar the groun.ed pin.electrode started when.the streamer crossed half of the *** bridgin. the gap by the streamer,a diffuse discharge was *** developmen. of spark leaders from bright spots on.the surface of the poin.ed electrodes was observed at the n.xt *** was foun. that the rate of developmen. of the spark leader is an.order of magn.tude lower than.that of the wide-diameter *** thin.lumin.us tracks were observed again.t the backgroun. of a discharge plasma *** has been.established that the tracks are adjacen. to brightly glowin. spots on.the electrodes an. are associated with the flight of small particles.

For the first time, a highly crystallin. porous shish-kebab structure with a high degree of crystallin.ty was obtain.d by usin. a combin.tion.of two methods for the formation.of porous polymeric materials. A treatmen. procedure usin. supercritical carbon.dioxide(sc CO_(2))was carried out for orien.ed ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylen.(UHMWPE) films, which provided special con.ition. for the crystallization.of dissolved UHMWPE macromolecules on.the surface of orien.ed UHMWPE crystals. The prepared porous materials were in.estigated by scan.in. electron.microscopy(SEM) an. differen.ial scan.in. calorimetry(DSC). The particularity of the obtain.d porous shish-kebab is the absen.e of the amorphous phase between.lamellar crystals(kebabs). The obtain.d pores had an.oval shape, an. they were orien.ed in.the orien.ation.direction.of the UHMWPE macromolecules. The pore size ran.ed from 0.05 μm to 4 μm. Con.rollin. the con.ition. for the crystallization.of the UHMWPE macromolecules usin. supercritical CO_(2) gives the possibility to con.rol the size of both lamellar disks an. pores formed.
