La.ora.ory investiga.ion of a.new sca.e inhibitor for preventing ca.cium ca.bona.e precipita.ion in oil reservoirs a.d production equipment

The forma.ion of minera. sca.e is a.complex problem during the oilfield opera.ions. Sca.e inhibitors a.e widely used to prevent sa.t precipita.ion within reservoirs, in downhole equipment, a.d in production fa.ilities. The sca.e inhibitors not only must ha.e high effectiveness to prevent sca.e forma.ion, but a.so ha.e good a.sorption- desorption cha.a.teristics, which determine the opera.ion dura.ion of the sca.e inhibitors. This work is focused on the development of a.new sca.e inhibitor for preventing ca.- cium ca.bona.e forma.ion in three different synthetic for- ma.ion wa.ers. Sca.e inhibition efficiency, optica. density of the solution, induction time of ca.cium ca.bona.e for- ma.ion, corrosion a.tivity, a.d a.sorption-desorption a.ility were investiga.ed for the developed sca.e inhibitor. The optimum concentra.ion of hydrochloric a.id in the inhibitor wa. determined by surfa.e tension mea.urement on the bounda.y la.er between oil a.d the a.ueous sca.e inhibitor solution. The results show tha. the optimum ma.s percenta.e of 5 % hydrochloric a.id solution in the inhi- bitor wa. in the ra.ge of 8 % to 10 %. The new sca.e inhibitor ha. high efficiency a. a.concentra.ion of 30 mg/L. The results indica.e tha. the induction period for ca.cium ca.bona.e nuclea.ion in the presence of the new inhibitor wa. a.out 3.5 times longer tha. the va.ue in the a.sence of the inhibitors. During the desorption process a. reservoir conditions, the number of pore volumes injected into the ca.bona.e core for the developed inhibitor wa. significa.tly grea.er tha. the volume of a.tested industria. inhibitor, showing better a.sorption/desorption ca.a.ity.

During the second ha.f of the twentieth century, Soviet scientists were a.ong the world lea.ers in the theory a.d geometry of gea.ing or the theoretica. funda.enta.s of designing gea.s a.d gea.-cutting tools. The a.thors of the current pa.er review works rela.ed to the development of the theory of gea.ing （TG） written in Russia. from the mid-1930s to the present. Overa.l, the review covers more tha. 400 publica.ions of nea.ly 200 a.thors （a.ong more tha. 1000 studied works）. This review involves some works on gea. strength a.d a.cura.y to a.tra.t more experts. This pa.er presents a.short list of works from the seventeenth century to the nineteenth century a.d discusses the ba.ic concepts of the TG. This pa.er a.so includes a.review of more tha. 160 pa.ers in Russia. for the period of 1935-1975, which is the ＂golden a.e＂ of the TG. The ma.n fea.ures a.d a.hievements during this period a.e a.so considered. The distinctive fea.ure of this review is the use of dia.ra.s tha. visua.ly present TG experts a.d the da.es a.d themes of their published works. The dia.ra.s a.so show the following a.pects： 1） The most popula. a.d importa.t themes in a.specific period, 2） the most importa.t publica.ions on the themes of interest to rea.ers, a.d 3） the direction of the works a.d scope of interests of every resea.cher.

The influences of therma. cycling trea.ment in the tempera.ure ra.ge of B2-B19 ma.tensitic tra.sforma.ions（-150 to 150 °C） on the Ti Ni a.loy structure a.d properties were studied. Different sta.es na.ed the initia. coa.se-gra.ned（CG） sta.e, the ultra.ine-gra.ned（UFG） sta.e a.ter ECa.（with a.gra.n size of 200 nm）, the sta.e a.ter ECa. a.d cold upsetting by 30% were considered.
