Post-Obstructive Diuresis: Physiopathology, Diagnosis and Management after Urological Treatment of Obstructive Renal Failure

Obstructive acute renal failure is both a medical and a surgical emergency. The first treatment modality is urological by relief of obstruction. Post-obstructive diuresis is an abnormal condition of prolonged polyuria, involving both excessive solute and water loss, after acute drainage of obstructed urinary tract system. Physiopathology mechanisms are multiples. In most patients, diuresis will resolve once the kidneys normalize the volume and solute status and homeostasis is achieved. Post-obstructive diuresis can occur in up to 50% of patients with substantial urinary tract obstruction and can be life-threatening if it becomes pathologic. It can be detected by hourly monitoring of diuresis. Medical treatment of post-obstructive diuresis consists of oral or intravenous fluids adjusted to the findings of clinical examination, diuresis (volume and electrolytes) and close monitoring of patient. Fluid compensation should be tapered off over several days. Patients at high risk of post-obstructive diuresis should be identified and appropriately monitored.

Introduction: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is defined as the persistent inability to achieve the necessary degree of erection for sexual activity. It is a common disease which can significantly affect the quality of life of sufferer and their partners. The purpose of this study is to give an overview of the magnitude of this medical condition in Benin society. Material and Method: It was a multicenter cross-sectional descriptive and analytical study conducted over a period of one month from 1st to 30th June 2015. A questionnaire was prepared for this purpose. Outcomes: The average age in this series is 48.32 with extremes ranging from 18 to 95 years. These patients were predominantly public servants. All our patients (100% of the study population) responded to the single question of John. B. Mckinlay. The global ED prevalence was 52.6%. The multivariate analysis helped to identify a correlation with several factors associated with ED. These factors included: age, occupation, lifestyle, etc. 41.91% of patients with ED and/or other sexual disorders declared “not at all acceptable” to continue living with these disorders. The patients benefitted from different treatments including IPDE-5 and traditional treatment in respectively 32.8% and 40.1% of cases. Conclusion: ED is a condition in its own which has an impact on the patients’ quality of life. Its discovery may lead to the diagnosis of cardiovascular, hormonal or neurological diseases.

Objectives: To evaluate therapeutic and prognosis of Uretero-pelvic junction abnomalities. Methods: This article was retrospective and descriptive, covering a period of six months, running from January 1st to December 31st, 2013 and conducted?to evaluate therapeutic and prognosis of Uretero-pelvic junction abnormalities. Included criteria were all patients whose diagnosis was abnormalities of the uretero-pelvic junction and had been confirmed after para clinical explorations. The stricture of the junction after a first kidney surgery did not include. The Creatinine level has considered high from 15 mg/l. Results: The median age was 35 years old. Age groups (30 - 40) years old have predominated in 36.2%. A male predominance had been noted in 62.3% versus 37.7% women. The most affected occupation was the officials in 37.7% of cases. The main reason for consultation was lumbar pain in 97.1%. The high creatinine level has observed in 19 patients (27.5%). Sixty-one patients (88.41%) have been operated. An abstention has been observed in 7 patients (10.14%) and one patient died before the surgical issue in renal failure. The early post-operative course has been uneventful in 78.7% (48 cases) and complicated in 21.3% (21 cases). Conclusions: Open surgery tends to disappear at the expense of the endopyelotomy and laparoscopy which gives best results. However, it is still relevant.

研究累积叠轧焊(ARB)Al1050/AZ31/Al1050多层复合材料的腐蚀行为,腐蚀介质为3.5%Na Cl(质量分数)溶液,分析测试手段包括动电位极化测试(PDP)、电化学阻抗谱(EIS)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM-EDS)、拉曼光谱和X射线衍射(XRD)等。为了深入研究Al1050/AZ31/Al1050多层复合材料的耐腐蚀性和腐蚀产物,对ARB制备的Al1050/Al1050/Al1050多层复合材料进行了相似的测试作为对比。动电位极化曲线和电化学阻抗谱显示,ARB应变水平会显著影响腐蚀速率。与Al1050/Al1050/Al1050样品相比,Al1050/AZ31/Al1050多层复合材料具有更高的腐蚀速率和更低的极化电阻。AZ31层对腐蚀过程起主导作用。拉曼和XRD分析结果表明主要腐蚀产物为Mg(OH)2,且不含任何氯化合物(如(Mg(OH)_(2))·MgCl_(2))。

Feature selection on probabilistic symbolic objects

In data analysis tasks, we are often confronted to very high dimensional data. Based on the purpose of a data analysis study, feature selection will find and select the relevant subset of features from the original features. Many feature selection algorithms have been proposed in classical data analysis, but very few in symbolic data analysis （SDA） which is an extension of the classical data analysis, since it uses rich objects instead to simple matrices. A symbolic object, compared to the data used in classical data analysis can describe not only individuals, but also most of the time a cluster of individuals. In this paper we present an unsupervised feature selection algorithm on probabilistic symbolic objects （PSOs）, with the purpose of discrimination. A PSO is a symbolic object that describes a cluster of individuals by modal variables using relative frequency distribution associated with each value. This paper presents new dissimilarity measures between PSOs, which are used as feature selection criteria, and explains how to reduce the complexity of the algorithm by using the discrimination matrix.

In this work we selected one particular fibril from a high resolution observation of the solar chromosphere with the Dutch Open Telescope, and tried to obtain a broad picture of the intricate mechanism that might be operating in the multiple layers of the solar atmosphere visible in high cadence multi-wavelength observations. We analyzed the changing fibril pattern using multi-wavelength tomography, which consists of both the Hα line center and the blue wing, Doppler signal, Ca II H, and the G-band. We have found that the intermittent ejected material through the fibril from Doppler images has clearly shown an oscillation mode, as seen in the Hα blue *** oscillations in the umbrae and penumbrae magnetic field lines that are above the sunspot cause a broadening and the area forms a ring shape from 3 to 15 minute oscillations as a function of height. These made a distinct boundary between the umbrae and penumbrae which suggests a comb structure, and indicates that the oscillations could propagate along the inclined magnetic flux tubes from below. The 3 minute oscillations strongly appeared in the broadly inclined penumbrae magnetic field lines and showed a clear light bridge. The well known 5 minute oscillations were dominant in the umbrae-penumbrae region boundary. The long 7 minute oscillations were transparent in the Hα blue wing, as well as the 10 and 15 minute oscillations. They were concentrated in the inner-penumbrae, as seen in the Hα line center. From these findings we propose that the fibril acts as a fabric for interaction between the layers,as well as related activities around the active region under investigation.

Objective: To study the antimicrobial activity of actinomycetes isolated from sabkha of Kenadsa and identification of the isolate interesting. Methods: Eighteen strains were isolated, using four culture media from sebkha of Kenadsa(Bechar, Southwestern Algeria). Screening of antimicrobial activity consisted of two steps: in primary screening, antibacterial activity was determined by using the agar plug method against test strains; in secondary screening, better isolate which showed a good activity in the first screening was selected to extract antimicrobial substances. The antimicrobial activities of extracts were evaluated by using Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method. Partial characterization of antimicrobial products was performed on the basis of chemical revelations, UV-vis spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy. The identification of isolate interesting was performed through morphological, chemical, biochemical and physiological characteristics. Results: All isolates showed antimicrobial activity against at least one microorganism test. One isolate, LAM143 cG 3, was selected for its broad spectrum and high antimicrobial activity. The isolate LAM143 c G3 was identified as Spirillospora sp. The comparison between the species of this genus(Spirillospora rubra and Spirillospora albida) and our isolate indicated the existence of several physiological and biochemical differences which led us to suppose that this was a new member of this genus. Primary characterization of antimicrobial substances produced by the isolate LAM143 c G3 indicated the presence of amines and phenols. The UV–vis spectrum suggested a non-polyenic nature of substances secreted by our isolate, while infrared confirmed the presence of amine ***: The result of the present study revealed that sebkha of Kenadsa was rich in rare actinomycetes, that secreted interesting antimicrobial substance.

In astronomy,the brightness of a source is typically expressed in terms of ***,the magnitude is defined by the logarithm of received *** relationship is known as the Pogson *** received flux with a small signal to noise ratio（S/N）,however,the formula gives a large magnitude *** investigate whether the use of Inverse Hyperbolic Sine function（hereafter referred to as the Asinh magnitude）in the modified formulae could allow for an alternative calculation of magnitudes for small S/N flux,and whether the new approach is better for representing the brightness of that *** study the possibility of increasing the detection level of gravitational microlensing using 40 selected microlensing light curves from the 2013 and 2014 seasons and by using the Asinh *** data of the selected events are obtained from the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment（OGLE）.We found that utilization of the Asinh magnitude makes the events brighter compared to using the logarithmic magnitude,with an average of about 3.42×10^（-2）magnitude and an average in the difference of error between the logarithmic and the Asinh magnitude of about 2.21×10（-2）*** microlensing events OB140847 and OB140885 are found to have the largest difference values among the selected *** a Gaussian fit to find the peak for OB140847 and OB140885,we conclude statistically that the Asinh magnitude gives better mean squared values of the regression and narrower residual histograms than the Pogson *** on these results,we also attempt to propose a limit in magnitude value for which use of the Asinh magnitude is optimal with small S/N data.

The corrosion behavior of an Al1050/AZ31/Al1050 multilayered hybrid composite fabricated by the accumulated roll bonding (ARB) technique up to six cycles in a 3.5% NaCl (wt.%) solution has been studied through potentiodynamic polarization tests (PDP)， electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)， scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDS)， Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD). In order to deeply apprehend the corrosion resistance and corrosion products of the Al1050/AZ31/Al1050 multilayered hybrid composite， almost similar investigation were performed on the Al1050/Al1050/Al1050 multilayered sample elaborated by ARB up to one cycle. Potentiodynamic polarization plots and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy showed that the corrosion rate was strongly affected by the ARB strain level. A higher corrosion rate and reduced polarization resistance were evidenced compared to the Al1050/Al1050/Al1050 multilayered sample. The AZ31 layers seemed to dominate the corrosion process. Raman and XRD analysis did confirm the presence of the main corrosion product that was Mg(OH)and the absence of any chloride such as (Mg(OH))·MgCl
