Theoretical Study of b.nzothiazole and Its Derivatives: Molecular Structure, Spectroscopic Properties, nb., MEP and TD-DFT Analyses

b.nzothiazole (b.H) and its derivatives are organic molecules with b.ologic actions. b.cause of their many applications, they are produced on a massive scale and used in a numb.r of environmental compartments. Their discharge into water produces environmental prob.ems, exposing our environment to pub.ic health prob.ems. A solution that can contrib.te to their deterioration is b.coming a necessity. For this reason, a conceptual analysis of the reactivity of b.nzothiazole and four of its compounds was undertaken in order to investigate certain aspects of their b.odegradab.lity. A theoretical investigations of the compounds studied were conducted in the gas and water phases with the most widely used density functional theory method, b.cke-3-Parameter-Lee-Yang-Parr (b.LYP) with 6-31G+ (d, p) b.sis. Reactivity study calculated glob.l indices of reactivity revealed that 2-SCH3_b.H is the most reactive. Dipole moment values analysis reveals that 2-nH2_b.H is the most solub.e in water, while the lipophilicity shows that 2-nH2_b.H is the most hydrophilic compound. Thermodynamic parameters values reflect that reactions are respectively exothermic and spontaneous. b. analyzing an Electrostatic Molecular Potential (EMP) map, researchers can pinpoint reactive sites on a molecule and anticipate its reactivity. This assessment is further enhanced b. incorporating glob.l and local reactivity descriptors. Additionally, an exploration of frontier molecular orb.tals offers valuab.e insights into the molecule’s charge transfer characteristics. Moreover, a comb.ned examination of internal and external molecular interactions unveils hyperconjugative interactions arising from charge delocalization, as elucidated through natural b.nd orb.tal (nb.) analysis.

Characteristics of Gold and Its Mineralization Style in the b.ulon djounga Eastern Perimeter of Liptako Mining Company (Central Southwestern niger)

The b.ulon djounga eastern perimeter is part of the Tiawa operating permit of the Société des Mines du Liptako (SML), located in the central southwestern part of Liptako (niger). In this study, we used field data, Reverse Circulation (RC) surveys and chemical analyzes of gold to determine the characteristics of gold and its mineralization style. The eastern perimeter of b.ulon djounga is represented b. a succession of metab.salts and metasediments b.th intersected b. intrusions of quartz and dolerite dykes, and covered b. sandstone and clayey rocks. Gold is present in low contents (0.00 - 0.30 ppm) in the sedimentary cover and in medium (0.30 - 1.00 ppm) or high contents (1.00 - 4.534 ppm) in the metasediments, and in the gray quartz veins and locally in the volcanics. It exists in a disseminated state or in a concentrated state in the surrounding areas in the form of discrete grains associated with sulphurous minerals (pyrite: FeSb.2b., chalcopyrite: CuFeSb.2b. or arsenopyrite: FeAsS). The presence of gold in the quartz veins, and the nE-SW and nW-SE orientations of the ore b.dies suggest that the eastern b.ulon djounga gold mineralization would b. estab.ished during a late magmatic extensive phase.

Introduction: High b.ood pressure is defined as b.ood pressure greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg for systolic and or 90 mm Hg for diastolic. It constitutes a major pub.ic health prob.em, the leading chronic disease in the world. The ob.ective was to determine the prevalence, treatment rate and control of hypertension. Methods: This was a cross-sectional and descriptive study which took place over a period of 6 months in a hospital environment and in the general population. Results: Of the 1000 participants, 637 had hypertension, giving a prevalence of 63.70% with a female predominance. Thirty-three percent (33%) were unaware of their high b.ood pressure. The age group 60 and more was the most represented (44%). A proportion of 33 and 23.20 were overweight and ob.se participants, respectively. Male sub.ects were more overweight than female, unlike ob.sity which was more common among female sub.ects. Sixty-two percent (62%) of hypertensives were treated, of whom 44% were non-compliant. The excessively high cost and consumption of medications as needed were the main factors in therapeutic non-compliance. Twenty-two percent (22%) of all hypertensive patients and 35% of treated hypertensive patients were controlled. Women were more treated b.t less ob.ervant and less controlled than men. Therapeutic coverage and comb.nation therapy rates were lower in rural areas. Hypertensives who had a high level of education were b.tter treated and controlled than those who had no level. Conclusion: High b.ood pressure remains a real pub.ic health prob.em in Mali. It is more common in people aged 60 and over and in females. One in three hypertensives were unaware of their hypertension. The majority received antihypertensive treatments, b.t only a minority of them had their hypertension controlled.

Hydrogeophysical and Structural Investigations Using VES: A Case Study of Dosso Region in the Southwestern Part of the Meso-Cenozoic Iullemmeden b.sin (Southwestern niger)

A regional study connecting geolelectrical surveys with geology and hydrogeology was carried out in the western part of the Iullemmeden b.sin, precisely in the Dosso region in niger. One hundred and four (104) vertical electrical sounds have b.en realized, among them nineteen representative were thus b. used as parametric surveys. The local resistivity values of the geological formations of Quaternary range from 100 Ω⋅m to 1000 Ω⋅m (sands and lateritic sandstones). The Oligo-Miocene formation of the Continental terminal (Ct) shows resistivity values ranging from 1 to 5 Ω⋅m (b.ackish groundwaters) to 1500 Ω⋅m (clay sandstones) while the Upper Cretaceous formation of the Continental “hamadien” (Ch) indicates values ranging from 20 Ω⋅m (sandy clay) to 5000 Ω⋅m (clayey sandstones). The geological formations of Paleocene have values from 2 Ω⋅m (marls) to 60 Ω⋅m (calcareous marl), while the Precamb.ian b.sement exhib.ts values of granite around 300 Ω⋅m to 60,000 Ω⋅m. The update of the structural settings reveals many faults in the study area which explain b.th the shape of the b.sin and the geometry of the aquifers. Tectonics is also consistent with the hydraulic characteristics of aquifers. In addition, b.ackish groundwaters were identified as perched aquifer groundwaters in different depths in Dosso region. They prob.b.y come from the marine b.ines during the regression of the Paleocene Sea.

Exoscopy of Detrital Zircons from niamey neoproterozoic Sandstones (Eastern Edge of the West African Craton, Southwestern niger): Interpretation of Detrital Sediments Provenance

This study focuses on exoscopic analyses of detrital zircon grains of Archean and Paleoproterozoic age, contained in the sediments from the niamey neoproterozoic sandstones (niamey region), with a view to confirming the sediments sources already proposed (Kénéma-Man domain for Archean-age zircons and b.oulé Mossi domain for Paleoproterozoic-age zircons). Exoscopic analysis reveals that Archean zircon grains are more corroded, with rounded to sub.rounded shapes, while Paleoproterozoic zircon grains are less corroded and mostly angular in shape. The strong corrosion of Archean zircon grains, implying long-distance transport, is consistent with the remoteness of the Kenema-Man domain which are the source these sediments. The fact that the Paleoproterozoic zircon grains show little or no wear implies a proximal source of sediments, corresponding to the b.oulé Mossi domain.

Introduction: The level of knowledge and attitude of health professionals ab.ut b.east cancer are important determinants. General ob.ective: To study the knowledge, attitude and practice of health professionals of the hospital of the district of the commune IV on b.east cancer. Methodology: This was a cross-sectional, prospective, descriptive, qualitative and quantitative study. The study period was from 01 Octob.r 2022 to Decemb.r 2022. Results: In one week of survey, 110 health workers (intern, ob.tetrician nurse, general practitioners and specialists) received the survey sheet, 80 health workers informed it, a participation rate of 73%. The male sex was most represented at 63.75% with a sex ratio of 1.76. The average age was 39.59 years with extremes of 22 and 61 years. The clinical signs evoked b. the participants were: b.east nodule (81.25%), followed b. b.east discharge (48.75%). In relation to risk factors: interns and ob.tetrician nurses had no good knowledge, 51.72% of general practitioners had good knowledge, 43.48% of specialist doctors had good knowledge, and 5.88% of the wise had good knowledge. Conclusion: b.east cancer is a common pathology around the world, health professionals are at the forefront of the fight against b.east cancer, and this fight cannot b. effective without trained personnel.

Lawsonia inermis is a hairless plant growing in various regions of north Africa, the Indian sub.ontinent, and the Middle East. It possesses many medicinal attrib.tes, including curative properties against infectious dermatoses. This study was carried out to evaluate the phytochemical profile of the crude ethanolic extract of the plant leaves and its fractions as well as their antimicrob.al activities. The phytochemical profile was performed using high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Additionally, the phenolic and flavonoid contents were determined using the Folin-Ciocalteu spectrophotometric and the aluminum trichloride methods. Antimicrob.al activity was tested using disc diffusion and microdilution methods. The presence of flavonoids, tannins, sterols, and triterpenes was revealed. GC-MS detected twelve compounds main compounds consisting of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids and phenolic and terpenoid compounds among twenty-seven components. HPLC also detected high contents of phenolic acids and flavonoids. The most ab.ndant triterpene and sterols were ursolic acid (around 43.14 g/100g DW, 13.9 g/100g dry weight (DW), and 0.68 g/100g DW) in the crude ethanolic extract of leaves (FeLi), hexane fraction (FHLi) and dichloromethane fraction (FDLi), respectively and, β-sitosterol in FeLi (56.7 mg/100g DW), FHLi (10.55 g/100g DW), FDLi (106.1 mg/100g DW) and b.tanol fraction (Fb.i) (357.4 mg/100g DW). Among the flavonoids, rutin = 3.24 g/100g and quercetin = 0.63 g/100g in the ethanolic extract, rutin = 15.73 g/100g in the dichloromethane fraction, and rutin = 0.23 g/100g) in the aqueous fraction;and among phenolic compounds, caffeic acid (37.65 g/100g DW) and vanillic acid (22.70 g/100g DW) were the most important in the ethyl acetate fraction (FAeLi). Appendicitis b.lharzia is a very rare condition and we report 3 cases of this pathology that sense clinical and b.ological similarities with b.cterial appendicitis. The etiological diagnosis was exclusively histopathological, this allowed to highlight eggs of Schistosome in the appendicular wall in the three patients. The surgical treatment was supplemented b. a specific medical treatment b.sed on praziquantel. The surgical suites were simple for 2 patients, complicated b. superficial parietal suppuration in a patient.

Ob.ectives: The main ob.ective was to evaluate antib.otic prescrib.ng in the Department of Pediatrics at Gab.iel Touré teaching hospital. Methods: This was a prospective descriptive study conducted from Septemb.r 1 to novemb.r 31, 2018, in the Department of Pediatrics at Gab.iel Touré teaching hospital. All children aged 0 to 15 years hospitalized for any pathology during the study period and having received at least one antib.otic had b.en included. Results: We collected 445 children’s records out of 1032 admissions during the study period, representing a hospital frequency of 43.1%. The sex ratio was 1.3%. The 2 - 5 age group accounted for 48.1%. Fever was the reason for consultation in 45.6% of cases. Patients’ general condition was altered in 60% of cases. The fathers were b.ue-collar workers in 65.4% and the mothers housewives in 85%, and had no education in 42.9% and 64.5% respectively. Hepatomegaly was present in 18.2%, splenomegaly in 9.6% and peripheral adenopathy in 3.1%. The site of infection was pulmonary in 37.6% and EnT in 9.2%. b.cterial infection was assumed on admission in 54% of cases, and meningitis in 57.7%. The discharge diagnosis was malaria in 54.6%, severe acute malnutrition in 18.6% and meningitis in 6.7%. The death rate was 3.8%. neutrophilic leukocytosis was present in 47.3% of patients. CRP was positive in 85% of patients. b.ood cultures taken in 27.6% of patients were positive in 5. CSF analysis in 30% of patients showed elevated leukocytes in 6.5%. no cultures were positive. Antib.otic prescription was justified b. infectious hypotheses in 43.1% of patients. β-lactam antib.otics were prescrib.d in 98.6%. Antib.otic therapy was not adapted to national/international recommendations in 68.3% of cases, and was not justified in 16.3% of cases on D5 of hospitalization.
