Salp Swarm Algorithm for Solving Optimal Power Flow Problem with Thyristor-Controlled Series Capacitor

In this paper, a salp swarm algorithm(SSA) is proposed for solving the optimal power flow(OPF)problem of a power system with the incorporation of the thyristor-controlled series capacitor(TCSC). The proposed methodology is implemented for determining the optimal setting of control variables for the OPF problem, which includes the real power of generators buses, voltages of generator buses, reactive power injected by shunt compensators, and tap changing transformer ratios. The performance of the proposed approach is validated and tested on the standard IEEE-30 bus system and single-objective functions, including transmission line losses. The severity factor has been minimized and the result obtained is compared with the existing algorithms. Simulation results achieved with the proposed SSA approach demonstrate that it results in an effective and better solution for the OPF problem.

Earth is a heritage of plants with an abundance of species,many of which are known among us,but many of them are still unknown for *** are many traditional plants which have been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times,and Nagkesar(Mesua ferrea Linn)is one of them,which is grown in many countries like India,Indochina,Nepal,Thailand,Sri Lanka and many other *** is used to treat diseases like bleeding piles,renal disease,dysentery,fever,and asthma,as well as bacterial and fungal *** is known for its medicinal properties but has also been used as an ornamental plant since ancient *** contains active phytoconstituents like steroids,coumarins and their derivatives,terpenoids,xanthones and their derivatives,flavonoids and pyranoxanthones,which act as precursors of other *** goal of this study is to summarise the all-pharmacological activities of Nagkesar as well as some novel uses of Nagkesar.A thorough bibliographic investigation was launched by examining internationally recognized scientific databases such as Cochrane library,PubMed,ScienceDirect,Web of Science,Google scholar,and several data sets from Herbalist *** searched several clinical trial databases of the recent past year and previous systematic reviews from 1980–*** this review article,all probable pharmacological effects of the Nagkesar plant,as well as the active components responsible for the biological role,are *** is important in the treatment of a variety of ***,bleeding piles,bronchitis,severe infection,fungal growth,diarrhea,and kidney disease are among conditions that can be treated with the Nagkesar plant.

In the current scenario,dysmenorrhea is a very frequent gynecological condition among *** least one in every four women suffers from severe abdominal cramps,which are referred to as dysmenorrhea or menstrual ***,in this review we compile the data from several reviews and research papers about dysmenorrhea,its pathogenesis,along with all treatment *** was found in a survey that normally women treated these cramps with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines or oral contraceptives,but lately it was found that these medications have a 20%to 25%failure rate as well as unpleasant side ***,in this review,we concluded all the possible treatments,including pharmacological treatment,non-pharmacological treatment,and herbal treatments for *** women are looking for alternatives to conventional treatments,such as the use of herbs,vitamins,minerals,nutritional supplements,analgesics,anti-inflammatory agents,and aromatherapy agents,which can have a significant impact when taken on a regular *** active constituents of these medicinal plants help the body fight cramps and pain associated with menstruation,as well as alleviate these issues in the most calming and effective way possible.

Objective Canadian family medicine(FM)residency programmes are responding to the growing demand to provide global health(GH)education to their trainees;herein,we describe the various GH activities(GHAs)offered within Canadian FM *** A bilingual online survey was sent out to all 17 Canadian FM program directors(PDs)and/or an appointed GH *** Online survey via Qualtrics Participants All 17 Canadian FM PDs and/or an appointed GH *** The response rate was 100%and represented 3250 first-year and second-year FM residents across English and French *** schools stated that they participate in some form of *** was variation in the level of organisation,participation and types of GHAs ***,most GHAs are optional,and there is a large amount of variation in terms of resident *** one third of programmes receive dedicated funding for their GHAs,and two thirds wish to increase the scope/variety of *** These results suggest nationwide interest in developing a workforce trained in GH,but show great discrepancies in training,implementation and education.
