Development of nanoparticle （Np） based therapies to promote regeneration in sites of central nervous system （CNs; i.e, brain and spinal cord） pathology relies critically on the availability of experimental models that offer biologically valid predictions of Np fate in vivo. However, there is a major lack of biological models that mimic the pathological complexity of target neural sites in vivo, particularly the responses of resident neural immune cells to Nps. Here, we have utilised a previously developed in vitro model of traumatic spinal cord injury （based on 3-D organotypic slice arrays） with dynamic time lapse imaging to reveal in real-time the acute cellular fate of Nps within injury foci. We demonstrate the utility of our model in revealing the well documented phenomenon of avid Np sequestration by the intrinsic immune cells of the CNs （the microglia）. such immune sequestration is a known translational barrier to the use of Np-based therapeutics for neurological injury. Accordingly, we suggest that the utility of our model in mimicking microglial sequestration behaviours offers a valuable investigative tool to evaluate strategies to overcome this cellular response within a simple and biologically relevant experimental system, whilst reducing the use of live animal neurological injury models for such studies.

This paper investigates wormhole solutions within the framework of extended symmetric teleparallel gravity,incorporating non-commutative geometry,and conformal *** achieve this,we examine the linear wormhole model with anisotropic fluid under Gaussian and Lorentzian *** primary objective is to derive wormhole solutions while considering the influence of the shape function on model parameters under Gaussian and Lorentzian *** resulting shape function satisfies all the necessary conditions for a traversable ***,we analyze the characteristics of the energy conditions and provide a detailed graphical discussion of the matter contents via energy ***,we explore the effect of anisotropy under Gaussian and Lorentzian ***,we present our conclusions based on the obtained results.

Chemotherapy is an effortless and frequently used approach in cancer ***,in most cases,it can only prolong life expectancy and does not guarantee a complete ***,chemotherapy is associated with severe adverse effects,one of the major complications of effective cancer *** addition,newly published research outputs show that cancer stem cells are involved in cancer disease progression,drug resistance,metastasis,and recurrence and that they are functional in the trans-differentiation capacity of cancer stem cells to cancer cells in response to *** strategies are therefore required for better management of cancer *** prime approach would be to synthesize and develop novel drugs that need extensive resources,time,and endurance to be brought into therapeutic *** subsequent approach would be to screen the anti-cancer activity of avail-able non-cancerous *** concept of repurposing non-cancer drugs as an alternative to current cancer therapy has become popular in recent years because using existing anticancer drugs has several adverse *** have also been investigated for cancer ther-apy due to their significant anti-cancer effects with negligible or no side effects and availabil-ity in food *** this paper,we discuss an ideal hypothesis for screening available non-cancerous drugs with anticancer activity,with a focus on cancer stem cells and their clinical application for cancer ***,drug repurposing and the combination of micronu-trients that can target both cancers and cancer stem cells may result in a better therapeutic approach leading to maximum tumor growth control.

The disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly shifted how individuals navigate in *** are concerned that travel behavior will shift toward a car-driven and homeworking future,shifting demand away from public transport *** concerns place the recovery of public transport in a possible crisis.A resilience perspective may aid the discussion around recovery-particularly one that deviates from pre-pandemic *** paper presents an empirical study of London’s public transport demand and introduces a perspective of spatial resilience to the existing body of research on post-pandemic public transport *** study defines spatial resilience as the rate of recovery in public transport demand within census boundaries over a period after lockdown restrictions were *** relationship between spatial resilience and urban socioeconomic factors was investigated by a global spatial regression model and a localized perspective through Geographically Weighted Regression(GWR)*** this case study of London,the analysis focuses on the period after the first COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were lifted(June 2020)and before the new restrictions in mid-september *** analysis shows that outer London generally recovered faster than inner *** of income,car ownership and density of public transport infrastructure were found to have the greatest influence on spatial patterns in ***,influential relationships vary locally,inviting future research to examine the drivers of this spatial ***,this research recommends transport policymakers capture the influences of homeworking,ensure funding for a minimum level of service,and advocate for a polycentric recovery post-pandemic.

Dear Editor,I ridocorneal endothelial syndrome(ICE)is a rare,usually unilateral,acquired condition,hypothesized to be secondary to a viral etiology[1].It affects females more often than males and comprises of three distinct clinical types related to endothelial proliferation and its structural *** of endothelium over the iridocorneal angle leads to progressive secondary angle closure and that over the iris leads to typical changes of polycoria and *** clinical entities included in the syndrome are Chandlers(predominant corneal involvement),progressive iris atrophy(predominant iris involvement with polycoria and‘holes’)and Cogan Reese(iris nodules with loss of stromal features).No matter what the clinical type,it is a progressive condition and controlling intraocular pressure(IOp)and maintaining corneal clarity in the long term is usually a challenge.

The 3pAKE(Three-party Authenticated Key Exchange)protocol is a valuable cryptographic method that offers safe communication and permits two diverse parties to consent to a new safe meeting code using the trusted *** have been explored numerous 3pAKE protocols earlier to create a protected meeting code between users employing the trusted ***,existing modified 3pAKE protocols have numerous drawbacks and are incapable to provide desired secrecy against diverse attacks such as manin-the-middle,brute-force attacks,and many others in social *** this article,the authors proposed an improved as well as safe 3pAKE protocol based on the hash function and the symmetric encryption for the social *** authors utilized a well-acknowledged AVIspA tool to provide security verification of the proposed 3pAKE technique,and findings show that our proposed protocol is safer in opposition to active as well as passive attacks namely the brute-force,man-in-the-middle,parallel attack,and many ***,compared to other similar schemes,the proposed protocol is built with a reduced computing cost as our proposed protocol consumes less time in execution and offers high secrecy in the social networks with improved *** a result,this verified scheme is more efficient as well as feasible for implementation in the social networks in comparison to previous security *** multifarious authors carried out extensive research on 3pAKE protocols to offer safe communication,still there are vital opportunities to explore and implement novel improved protocols for higher safety in the social networks and mobile commerce environment in the future in opposition to diverse active as well as passive attacks.

In this paper an improvement in the photocatalytic performance of TiO2 was carried out via hybridizing with ***-TiO2（GR-TiO2/nanocomposites with different weight addition ratios of graphene oxide（GO）have been prepared via a facile microwave irradiation of GO and tetrabutyl titanate in isopropyl *** spectroscopy（Rs）,X-ray diffraction（XRD）,scanning electron microscopy（sEM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM）,UV–visible spectroscopy（UV–vis）,Fourier transform infrared spectra（FTIR）,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（EDX）and photoluminescence spectra（pL）are employed to determine the properties of the *** irradiation can heat the reactant to a higher temperature in a short time,simultaneously GO is reduced to graphene and TiO2 nanoparticles grown on the surface of ***-TiO2 nanocomposites synthesized via this approach have efficient electron conductivity in GR,resulting in a reduced electron–hole recombination *** the synthesized nanocomposites,GT-8wt% exhibited the best photocatalytic activity toward photocatalytic degradation of *** current work provides a new insight for the fabrication of GR-TiO2 nanocomposites within a short reaction time and also explains the mechanism of photocatalysis employing radical and hole scavengers.
