Under a uniaxial pressure of 10-20 MPa,the unusual changes of lattice parameters and remarkable structural distortions in colossal magnetoresistance perovskite La_(l-x)Sr_(x)MnO_(3)(0.15≤x≤0.25)have been *** structural distortions were found to be in good agreement with Bridgman *** phenomena suggest that the lattice of the manganese perovskite is flexible and the versatility of the electronic and magnetic properties in the perovskites may stems from the lattice flexibility.

Human beings are usually exposed to microwaves originated from the equipment in industry,communication,military,and aerospace,which has led to interest in health effects of long-term low level microwave radiation exposure,particularly on the brain,one of the most sensitive organs to microwaves[1].Morris water maze,oxidative stress related typical markers of corticosteroids(CORT),malondialdehyde(MDA),catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and total antioxidant capacity(TAOC),ultrastructure,dendritic spine growth and molecular signaling pathway are important indicators in the study of learning and memory effects[2].Among them,Synbindin(Sbdn),closely associated to dendritic spine growth,learning and memory,was found to be a remarkable microwave sensitive molecule in our previous work[3]..Additionally,it’s well known that both the CA1 and Dentate Gyrus(DG)regions of the hippocampus are involved in learning and memory,however studies on the effect of microwave on DG region were less,so,this paper further focused on DG region in the study of dendrite spine,ultrastructure of neurons and phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase(pERK)protein ***,Synbindin was focused on and the above indicators were integrated in this paper to study the influence and mechanism of long-term low-intensity 2,100 MHz microwave on learning and memory.

AIM:To compare the short-term impacts of femtosecond lenticule extraction(FLEx)and femtosecond laser-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis(FS-LASIK)on ocular surface measures and tear inflammatory ***:This prospective comparative nonrandomized clinical study comprised 75 eyes(75 patients).Totally 20 male and 15 female patients(age 21.62±3.25 y)with 35 eyes underwent FLEx,and 26 male and 14 female patients(age 20.18±3.59 y)with 40 eyes underwent *** corneal sensitivity,noninvasive tear breakup time,corneal fluorescein staining,Schirmer I test,tear meniscus height,and ocular surface disease index were evaluated in all *** concentrations of nerve growth factor(NGF),interleukin-1α(IL-1α),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-γ(IFN-γ),and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)were assessed by multiplex antibody *** measurements were performed preoperatively,and 1 d,1 wk,and 1 mo ***:Patients who underwent FLEx exhibited a more moderate reduction in central corneal sensation and less corneal fluorescein staining than those in the FS-LASIK group 1 wk after the procedure(P<0.01).NGF was significantly higher 1 d and 1 wk after surgery in the FS-LASIK group than in the FLEx group(P<0.01).By contrast,compared to those in the FLEx group,higher postoperative values and slower recovery of tear TGF-β1,IL-1α,and TNF-αconcentrations were observed in the FS-LASIK group(P<0.01).Tear concentrations of NGF,TGF-β1,TNF-α,and IL-1αwere correlated with ocular surface changes after FLEx or FS-LASIK ***:There is less early ocular surface disruption and a reduced inflammatory response after FLEx than after ***,TGF-β1,TNF-α,and IL-1αmay contribute to the process of ocular surface recovery.

Cobalt carbide has recently been reported to catalyse the FTO con version of syngas with high selectivity for the production of lower olefins (C2-C4). Clarifying the formation process and atomic structure of cobalt carbide will help understand the catalytic mechanism of FTO. Herein, hydrogenati on of carb on monoxide was investigated for cobalt carbide synthesized from CoMn catalyst, followed by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, temperature programmed reaction and in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy. By monitoring the evolution of cobalt carbide during syngas conversion, the wavelet transform results give evidenee for the formation of the cobalt carbide and clearly demonstrate that the active site of catalysis was cobalt carbide.

The differences of protein expression between the improved cross breeding race Jinqiu and its parents were analyzed to discuss the gene construction, and to form a base for illuminating the molecular mechanisms of successful cross breeding in silkworm. Protein samples from silk gland, hemolymph, and midgut were separated by 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis （2-DE）. In the three tissues the matched protein spots between Jinqiu and its cross parents were approximately 70% with approximately 30% specific protein spots. In the matched protein spots, 9-24% was differentially expressed representing up- and down-regulated expression. These specific protein spots might be either the newly appeared, which were produced from the genic interaction of cross parents＇ genes in cross breeding, or posttranscriptionally modified, which were produced from the different modifications on the same original proteins. These results indicate that it is important for a new successful breed, by cross breeding, relying on the actions of some newly produced functional proteins from genic interaction, in addition to marshaling excellent genes of cross parents.

The present study was carried out to investigate the pharmacokinetics of mequindox （MEQ）, a new synthetic quinoxaline 1,4-dioxide derivative and its two main metabolites M1 [2-isoethanol mequinoox], M2 [2-isoethanol 1-desoxymequindox] in healthy swine. MEQ （10 mg kg-1 body weight） was administered to nine healthy cross-bread swine via oral, intramuscular, and intravenous routes in a randomized 3x3 crossover design with a 1-wk washout period. A sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography （HPLC） method was used for the determination of plasma concentrations of MEQ and its metabolites M1 and M2. Plasma concentration versus time profiles of MEQ and its metabolites, M1 and M2, were analyzed by noncompartmental analysis using WinNonlin 5.2 software. The mean maximum concentrations （Cmax） of M1 and M2 after intravenous administration of MEQ were （5.27±1.59） lag mL-1 at 1.78 h and （1.01±0.29） μg mL-1 at 0.92 h, respectively. The mean maximum concentrations （Cmax） ofMEQ, M1, and M2 were found to be （6.96±3.23）, （6.61±1.56）, and （0.78 ±0.25） lag mL-1 respectively at 0.15, 1.61, and 1.30 h after intramuscular administration of MEQ, respectively and （0.75±0.45）, （6.90±1.52）, and （0.62±0.21） lag mL-1, respectively at 0.40, 1.57, and 2.00 h, respectively after oral administration of MEQ. The apparent elimination half-lives （b2） ofMEQ, M1, and M2 were （0.84±0.35）, （7.57±3.93）, and （9.56±6.00） h, respectively after intravenous administration of MEQ; （0.50±0.25）, （6.30±3.00）, and （5.94±2.54） h, respectively after intramuscular administration of MEQ; and （1.64± 1.17）, （5.59±1.93）, and （16.25±10.27） h, respectively after oral administration of MEQ. The mean areas under the plasma concentration-time curve （AUC0-∝） of MEQ, M1, and M2 were （4.88±1.54）, （36.93±17.50）, and （5.16±94） μg h mL-1, respectively after intravenous administration of MEQ; （4.18±0.76）, （48.25±20.82）, and （4.88±2.21） μg h mL-1 , respectively after intramuscular administration of MEQ; and （1.01±0.40）, （48.83±20.7

The electronic structure of （001） polar surface of cubic zirconia was studied by GGA（WC） approximation. We found the cubic lattice near （001） surface showed an intensive tendency to transfer to tetragonal lattice. The metallic state appeared on both the terminations. For O-termination, some O2p states were vacated and hole carriers concentrated on surface oxygen-ions. For Zr-termination, some Zr4d states became partial occupied for the loss of O2p states. We observed the hole states were mainly localized at the corresponding ions on surface for both the terminations, while the charge states on Zr-termination were dispersed on surface.

The burgeoning growth of the new energy vehicles and aviation industry has escalated the need for energy storage capacitors capable of stable operation in harsh *** advent of metal-polyimide complexes has illuminated a novel approach for preparing tem perature-resistant ***,the general application of these metal-polyimide com plexes is impeded by the high dielectric loss and low breakdown strength,consequences of main-chain coordination and excessive metal ions ***,our study proposes a novel polyimideCu complex material(POP-Cu)predicated on side-chain-type pyridine-Cu coordination,utilizing the structural backbone PMDA-ODA of mature commercial PI(Kapton)with reliable *** to the high degree of freedom afforded by the side chain with suppressed relaxation activation energy and the long-range electron delocalization formed by d-πcoordination,the dielectric constant of this material containing merely 2.7 mol%Cu increases from 3.25(POPI)to 5.58,while maintaining a remarkably low dielectric loss of ***,this material exhibits a substantial DC breakdown strength of 436.2 MV·m^(-1)and a high energy density of 5.42 J·cm^(-3),coupled with superior mechanical and thermal *** at 150℃,it retains over 90%of its room-temperature energy density,demon strating notable dielectric stability under high *** attributes underscore its promising application for capacitors operating in harsh environments.
