Sini decoction alleviates inflammation injury after myocardial infarction through regulating arachidonic acid metabolism

Objective:Myocardial inflammation during myocardial infarction(MI) could be inhibited by regulating arachidonic acid(AA) *** studies demonstrated that Sini Decoction(SND) was identified to be an effective prescription for treating heart failure(HF) caused by *** the anti-inflammatory mechanism of SND remained *** work was designed to investigate the anti-inflammato ry mechanism of SND through the AA metabolism pathway in vitro and in vivo ***:An inflammatory injury model of H9c2 cells was established by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated macrophage-conditioned medium(CM).The MI model was built by the ligation of left anterior descending(LAD) branch of coronary artery in ***,the rats were divided into five groups:sham group,MI group,MI+Celecoxib group,MI+low-dose SND group(SND-L) and MI+high-dose SND group(SND-H).Cardiac function,histopathological changes and serum cytokines were examined four weeks *** blot analysis was conducted to verify the key enzymes levels in the AA metabolic pathway,including phospholipase A2(PLA2),cyclooxygenases(COXs) and lipoxygenases(LOXs).Results:These in vivo results demonstrated that SND could improve the cardiac function and pathological changes of rats with MI,and regulate the key inflammatory molecules in the AA metabolism pathway,including sPLA2,COX-1,COX-2,5-LOX and *** vitro,SND could decrease the release of proinflammatory cytokines including TNF-α and IL-6 and inhibit cell apoptosis in CM-induced H9c2 ***,SND could protect H9c2 cells from the damage of CM by regulating nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB) signal pathway and the expression of ***: SND may be a drug candidate for anti-inflammatory treatment during MI by regulating the multiple targets in the AA metabolism pathway.

Reconfigurable spin-decoupled conformal metasurface: 3D-printing with independent beam shaping and multi-focusing dual-channel reconfigurability techniques

This paper describes a 3D-printed conformal reconfigurable spin-decoupled metasurface and supports both independent beam shaping and dual-channel reconfigurability. The increasing complexity of metasurface structures and reconfigurable spin-decoupling among conformal structures are rarely reported due to their challenging properties. In this paper, a reconfigurable metasurface based on 3D-printing technology is proposed for reconfigurable spin-decoupled curved structures at 13.5–14.5 GHz. Curved surface spin-decoupling is realized for the first time and verified by simulation and experiment. Beam deflection(20° and 35°) and near-field focusing(100 mm and 150 mm) were achieved at different circularly polarized wave incidences. Switching the beam between the two states was achieved by incorporating the water-based metasurface. As a proof of concept, metasurfaces that have anomalous reflections in both channels were fabricated and measured. Furthermore,reconfigurable spin-decoupling was achieved using a water-based metasurface. This work extends the phase engineering approach in metasurfaces and may have a wide range of applications in communications, sensing,imaging, and camouflage.

Tanreqing Injection Inhibits Activation of NLRP3 Inflammasome in Macrophages Infected with Influenza A Virus by Promoting Mitophagy

Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effect of Tanreqing Injection(TRQ) on the activation of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3) inflammasome in macrophages infected with influenza A virus and the underlying mechanism based on mitophagy pathway. Methods:The inflammatory model of murine macrophage J774A.1 induced by influenza A virus [strain A/Puerto Rico/8/1934(H1N1), PR8] was constructed and treated by TRQ, while the mitochondria-targeted antioxidant Mito-TEMPO and autophagy specific inhibitor 3-methyladenine(3-MA) were used as controls to intensively study the anti-inflammatory mechanism of TRQ based on mitophagy-mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(mt ROS)-NLRP3 inflammasome pathway. The levels of NLRP3, Caspase-1 p20, microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 Ⅱ(LC3Ⅱ) and P62 proteins were measured by Western blot. The release of interleukin-1β(IL-1β) was tested by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, the mt ROS level was detected by flow cytometry, and the immunofluorescence and co-localization of LC3 and mitochondria were observed under confocal laser scanning microscopy. Results: Similar to the effect of Mito-TEMPO and contrary to the results of 3-MA treatment, TRQ could significantly reduce the expressions of NLRP3, Caspase-1 p20, and autophagy adaptor P62, promote the expression of autophagy marker LC3Ⅱ, enhance the mitochondrial fluorescence intensity, and inhibit the release of mt ROS and IL-1β(all P<0.01).Moreover, LC3 was co-localized with mitochondria, confirming the type of mitophagy. Conclusion: TRQ could reduce the level of mt ROS by promoting mitophagy in macrophages infected with influenza A virus, thus inhibiting the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and the release of IL-1β, and attenuating the inflammatory response.

Chlorination of benzyl group on the terminal unit of A_(2)-A_1-D-A_1-A_(2) type nonfullerene acceptor for high-voltage organic solar cells

Benzotriazole(BTA)-based A_(2)-A_1-D-A_1-A_(2)type wide-bandgap(WBG)non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs)have shown promising potential in indoor photovoltaic,and in-depth investigation of their structure-property relationship is of great ***,we explored the chlorination effect of the side chain on the *** introduced Cl atoms into the benzyl side chains in parent BTA5 to synthesize two NFAs,BTA5-Cl with mono-chlorinated benzyl groups and BTA5-2Cl containing bi-chlorinated benzyl *** chose D18-Cl with deep-energy levels and strong crystallinity to pair with these three acceptors,affording high photovoltage and *** the stepwise chlorination,the open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))values decrease from 1.28,1.22,to 1.20 V,while the corresponding power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)improve from 5.07%,9.15%,to 10.96%.Compared with BTA5-based OSCs,introducing Cl atoms downshifts the energy levels and slightly increases the non-radiative energy loss(0.14<0.17<0.19 e V),resulting in a sequential decrease in VO ***,more chlorine atom replacements produce more effective exciton dissociation,higher charge transfer,and balanced carrier mobility in the blend films,ultimately achieving better *** work indicates that chlorination of the benzyl group on the terminals can improve the device's performance,implying good application potential in indoor photovoltaics.

W-type barium-nickel ferrite(BaNi_(2)Fe_(16)O_(27))is a highly promising material for electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption be-cause of its magnetic loss capability for EMW,low cost,large-scale production potential,high-temperature resistance,and excellent chemical ***,the poor dielectric loss of magnetic ferrites hampers their utilization,hindering enhancement in their EMW-absorption *** efficient strategies that improve the EMW-absorption performance of ferrite is highly desired but re-mains ***,an efficient strategy substituting Ba^(2+)with rare earth La^(3+)in W-type ferrite was proposed for the preparation of novel La-substituted ferrites(Ba_(1-x)LaxNi_(2)Fe_(15.4)O_(27)).The influences of La^(3+)substitution on ferrites’EMW-absorption performance and the dissipative mechanism toward EMW were systematically explored and ***^(3+)efficiently induced lattice defects,enhanced defect-induced polarization,and slightly reduced the ferrites’bandgap,enhancing the dielectric properties of the ***^(3+)also enhanced the ferromagnetic resonance loss and strengthened magnetic *** effects considerably improved the EMW-absorption perform-ance of Ba_(1-x)LaxNi_(2)Fe_(15.4)O_(27)compared with pure W-type *** x=0.2,the best EMW-absorption performance was achieved with a minimum reflection loss of-55.6 dB and effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 3.44 GHz.

Generally speaking,the precursors of ozone(O_(3)),nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds are very low in desert areas due to the lack of anthropogenic emissions and natural emissions,and thus O_(3)concentrations are relatively ***,high summer background concentrations of about 100μg/m^(3)or 60 ppb were found in the Alxa Desert in the highland of northwest China based on continuous summer observations from 2019 to 2021,which was higher than the most of natural background areas or clean areas in world for summer O_(3)background *** high O_(3)background concentrations were related to surface features and ***-intensity anthropogenic activity areas in desert areas can cause increased O_(3)concentrations or pollution,but also generated O_(3)depleting substances such as nitrous oxide,which eventually reduced the regional O_(3)baseline *** dioxide(NO2)also had a dual effect on O_(3)generation,showing promotion at low concentrations and inhibition at high *** addition,sand-dust weather reduced O_(3)clearly,but O_(3)eventually stabilized around the background concentration values and did not vary with sand-dust particulate matter.

The synergy of single atoms(SAs)and nanoparticles(NPs)has demonstrated great potential in promoting the electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR);however,the rationalization of the SAs/NPs proportion remains one challenge for the catalyst ***,a Ni2+-loaded porous poly(ionic liquids)(PIL)precursor synthesized through the free radical self-polymerization of the ionic liquid monomer,1-allyl-3-vinylimidazolium chloride,was pyrolyzed to prepare the Ni,N co-doped carbon materials,in which the proportion of Ni SAs and NPs could be facilely modulated by controlling the annealing *** catalyst Ni-NC-1000 with a moderate proportion of Ni SAs and NPs exhibited high efficiency in the electrocatalytic conversion of CO_(2)into *** Ni K-edge X-ray absorption near-edge structure(XANES)spectra and theoretical calculations were conducted to gain insight into the synergy of Ni SAs and *** charge transfer from Ni NPs to the surrounding carbon layer and then to the Ni SAs resulted in the electron-enriched Ni SAs active *** the electroreduction of CO_(2),the coexistence of Ni SAs and NPs strengthened the CO_(2)activation and the affinity towards the key intermediate of*COOH,lowering the free energy for the potential-determining*CO_(2)→*COOH step,and therefore promoted the catalysis efficiency.

Tunable non-Markovian and quantum coherence in the single-qubit dephasing noise channel

In this paper,we construct a single-qubit dephasing noise channel based on the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)system by employing the bath-engineering technology,and achieve the construction of the tunable non-Markovian environment in the dephasing noise *** findings indicate that for the single-qubit system,the transition of system dynamics from Markovian to non-Markovian can be achieved by adjusting the base frequency of the noise power ***,the base frequency corresponding to this phase transition point is not fixed,and there is a certain relationship between it and the total evolution time of the single-qubit *** our research,we discovered a fundamental relationship:if the single-qubit system dynamics undergoe a transition from Markovian to non-Markovian atω_(0) within 0-2t ms,shortening the evolution time to 0-t ms results in an increase of the phase transition point to 2ω_(0).This insight offers crucial guidance for artificially crafting non-Markovian environments across arbitrary time scales in single-qubit systems,and it is not limited by the type of *** from system dynamics,quantum coherence is also a focal point of our *** find that when the system dynamics exhibit non-Markovian behavior,the quantum coherence of the single-qubit system experiences ***,the timing of these coherence revivals aligns with the instants of the non-Markovianity ***,our research also serves as a pivotal foundation for the artificial manipulation and realization of quantum coherence revivals within diverse single-qubit systems.

Significant increase in thermal conductivity of cathode material LiFePO_(4) by Na substitution:A machine learning interatomic potential-assisted investigation

LiFePO_(4) is a cathode material with good thermal stability,but low thermal conductivity is a critical *** this study,we employ a machine learning potential approach based on first-principles methods combined with the Boltzmann transport theory to investigate the influence of Na substitution on the thermal conductivity of LiFePO_(4) and the impact of Li-ion de-embedding on the thermal conductivity of Li_(3/4)Na_(1/4)FePO_(4),with the aim of enhancing heat dissipation in Li-ion *** results show a significant increase in thermal conductivity due to an increase in phonon group velocity and a decrease in phonon anharmonic scattering by Na *** addition,the thermal conductivity increases significantly with decreasing Li-ion concentration due to the increase in phonon *** work guides the improvement of the thermal conductivity of Li FePO_4,emphasizing the crucial roles of both substitution and Li-ion detachment/intercalation for the thermal management of electrochemical energy storage devices.
