Late Paleozoic–Early Mesozoic tectonic evolution of the Zongwulong Shan-Qinghai Nanshan tectonic belt in the northern Qaidam continent， northern Tibet

The Zongwulong Shan-Qinghai Nanshan tectonic belt of the northern Tibet Plateau experienced a protracted tectonic history， including the openings and closures of the Proto- and Paleo-Tethyan Oceans. Although the tectonic belt has been extensively studied， details regarding the tectonic processes involved in its development remain controversial. To better constrain the tectonic processes of this tectonic belt， we conducted detailed field geological mapping， zircon U-Pb geochronology， and whole-rock geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic analyses. Our results show that intrusive rocks in the tectonic belt crystallized in ca. 292–233 Ma， perhaps in an arc/subduction setting. Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic data suggest that early Permian–late Triassic ultramafic-intermediate intrusions were sourced from the enriched mantle， whereas intermediate-acidic rocks were sourced from mixed crust-mantle. We present the tectonic model that involves: (1) Early Devonian–early Permian intracontinental extension occurred in the northern margin of the Qaidam continent (ca. 416 Ma–292 Ma); (2) Early Permian–late Triassic northward subduction of the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean resulted in arc magmatism (ca. 292 Ma–233 Ma); and (3) subsequent late Triassic intracontinental extension (ca. 233 Ma–215 Ma). Our results suggest that the late Paleozoic–early Mesozoic development of the Zongwulong Shan-Qinghai Nanshan was related to the opening， subduction， and slab retreat of the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean， which has key implications for the tectonic evolution of the northern Tibetan Plateau.

Tethyan Ocean was initially proposed by Austrian geologist Eduard Suess in 1893. The study of the Tethyan evolution by European geologists has led to the development of modern geology, but not to the establishment of plate tectonics theory(Trümpy, 2001). With the progress in various studies, the concept of Tethys has evolved from a Mesozoic ocean into three long-term evolving oceans:Proto-Tethys, Paleo-Tethys, and Neo-Tethys (Figure 1), and their life cycles cover the entire Phanerozoic era (Wu et al., 2020).

Paleoaltimetry reconstructions of the Tibetan Plateau:progress and contradictions

Over the last two decades, many quantitative paleoaltimetry reconstructions of the Tibetan Plateau have been published, but they are still preliminary and controversial, although several approaches have been combined paleontology and geochemistry, including vertebrate, plant, and pollen fossils as well as oxygen,carbon, and hydrogen isotopes. he Tibetan Plateau is the youngest and highest plateau on Earth, and its paleoaltimetry reconstructions are crucial to interpret its geodynamic evolution and to understand the climatic changes in Asia. Uplit histories of the Tibetan Plateau based on diferent proxies difer considerably, and two viewpoints are pointedly opposing on the paleoaltimetry estimations of the Tibetan Plateau. One viewpoint is that the Tibetan Plateau did not strongly uplit to reach its modern elevation until the Late Miocene, but another one, mainly based on stable isotopes, argues that the Tibetan Plateau formed early during the Indo-Asian collision and reached its modern elevation in the Paleogene or by the Middle Miocene. With either a geochemical or paleontological approach, the present is used as the key to the ***, there are great diiculties because modern processes of isotopic fractionation and species for creature distribution are not easily precisely determined. In addition, the climatic and environmental backgrounds of past geological times have massive diferences from the present, and associated adjustments are inluenced by many human factors. In the future work, the applications of multidisciplinary comprehensive methods and cross-checks of their results will be productive, and we look forward to achieving more reliable estimates for paleoelevations of the Tibetan Plateau.

Design and operation strategies of the system for destroying time-sensitive target based on system effectiveness

To improve the effect of destroying time-sensitive target （TST）, a method of operational effectiveness evaluation is presented and some influential factors are analyzed based on the combat flow of system for destroying TST. Considering the possible operation modes of the system, a waved operation mode and a continuous operation mode are put forward at first. At the same time, some relative formulas are modified. In examples, the influential factors and operation modes are analyzed based on the system effectiveness. From simulation results, some design and operation strategies of the system for destroying time sensitive targets are concluded, which benefit to the improvement of the system effectiveness.

Differential surface uplift: Cenozoic paleoelevation history of the Tibetan Plateau

The surface uplift history of the Tibetan Plateau has provided a key boundary criterion for various geological, climatic,and environmental events since the Cenozoic. The paleoelevation history of the plateau is organically associated with interactions amongst deep geodynamics, earth surface processes, and climate change. Understanding of plateau uplift history has been advanced by the development of a number of paleoaltimetries and their application to studies of the Tibetan Plateau: the paleogeomorphic scenario for the Early Eocene Tibetan Plateau is thought to include two high mountains, the ca. 4500 m Gangdese Mountains to the south, and the ca. 5000 m Qiangtang Center Watershed Mountains to the north. Between these ranges, a low-elevation basin(ca. 2500 m) is thought to have been present. The Himalayas in the southern Tibetan Plateau was close to sea level at this time,while the Hoh Xil Basin in the north reached an elevation of no more than 1500 m. Thus, the so-called "Roof of the World" Tibetan Plateau formed subsequent to the Miocene. Nevertheless,, the uplift histories of the different terranes that comprise this plateau currently remain unclear, which constrains the uplift history reconstruction of the entire Tibetan Plateau. Additional paleoelevation data from different areas, obtained using multi-paleoaltimeters, is required to resolve the forms and processes of Tibetan Plateau uplift and extension.

Synthesis, crystal structure, and application of an acenaphtho[1,2-k] fluoranthene diimide derivative

Organic electron acceptor materials play an important role in organic ***,many organic electron acceptors have been developed,in which aromatic fused-imides have proved to be a promising family of excellent electron *** report the first synthesis of a novel aromatic fused-imide,acenaphtho[1,2-k]fluoranthene diimide derivative(AFI),using lithium-halogen exchange and Diels-Alder *** construction of a large conjugated plane and the introduction of electron-withdrawing imide groups endow AFI with a low lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)level of 3.80 e *** exhibits a regular molecular arrangement and strong - interactions in the single-crystal structure,which indicates its potential application in organic electronic *** cell devices that were fabricated using AFI as the electron acceptor and P3HT as the electron donor achieved an energy conversion efficiency of 0.33%.

Constructing Common Regulations of General Part of China's Environmental Code from the Perspective of Legal Order

Order comes first in legal values,while laws should maintain the consistency and stability of *** proposed China's environmental code(Code)shall restate the prevailing environmental legal norms and optimize the prevailing environmental legal *** the perspective of stabilizing the legal order,common regulations of General Part of the Code should connect with the constitution and the prevailing environmental laws,determine the legal values of the Code-governing environment,and provide the foundation and basic framework for each subsequent part of the ***,common regulations of the Code should recognize and support the constitution order and bolster the emerging eco-environment legal order relating to the eco-civilization *** should be coherent,value-orientated,and independent,inheriting the general framework of the prevailing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China(PRC)and other specific environmental laws,and developing the applicable ***,consistently with the legislative purposes,the Code common regulations should recognize the objectives of construction of eco-civilization and pursuit of social,economic and ecological sustainable development,and this pursuit should be carried out based on the basic principles;the application scope of"ecological environment"should be redefined in order to maintain the ecological value and overall ecological order;the clause on basic environmental obligations and the clause on citizens'environmental rights should be defined with the national environmental protection obligations as the main thread and the multi-player legal relationship as the framework;and the national environmental protection obligations should be preliminarily delivered with three clauses:national environmental protection financial support,environmental publicity and education,and global environmental governance.

Synthesis and Fungicidal Activity of Some Novel Thiazole Schiff Bases Derived from Benzo[d][1,3]dioxole

A series of novel thiazole Schiff base derivatives containing benzo[d][1,3]dioxole moiety was designed, synthesized and screened for their fungicidal activities. The preliminary results demonstrated that compounds 6p, 6q and 6r possessed potent activities against Phytophthora infestans, Pyricularia oryzae and Septoria tritici in vitro. Compounds 6d and 6r exhibited remarkable activities against Botrytis cinerea（whole plant） and Phytophthora in- festans（leaf disk） respectively in vivo, which were identified as the most promising candidates for further study and could be used as possible lead compounds for developing new fungicides.

Structural characteristics of middle and southern Xainza-dinggye Normal Fault System and its relationship to Southern Tibetan Detachment System

The Xainza-dinggye Normal Fault System (XDNFS) is a large-scale nearly-north-south trending exten-sional structure across central and southern Tibet. Its middle segment developed in Tethys Himalaya with features of earlier magmatic core complex and later normal faults dipping moderately to northwest-west. The magmatic core complex is made up by mylonitic leucogrante with a low-angle detachment fault on the top of it and overlain by lower-grade meta-sedimentary rocks. The structural pattern of the southern segment of XDNFS take the shape of a detachment fault dipping to southeast-east with the High-Himalayan rock series as the lower plate. The Southern Tibetan Detachment System (STDS) is expressed as a ductile shear zone composed of mylonitic leucogranite in the studied area of this note. STDS was cut by the later XDNFS, which presents that nearly-east-west striking STDS is not the controlling or adjusting structure of the nearly-north-south trending ex-tensional structures. Field experiment of subgrade vibration induced by passing train in a seasonally frozen region of Daqing

The vibration characteristics and attenuation of the subgrade caused by passing trains in a seasonally frozen region of Daqing, China are investigated. Three field experiments were conducted during different times through the year, in normal, freezing and thawing periods, respectively, and the influence of the season, train speed and train type, is described in this paper. The results show that：（1） the vertical component is the greatest among the three components of the measured vibration near the rail track, and as the distance to the railway track increases, the dominant vibration depends on the season. （2） Compared with the vibration in the normal period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations increase while the lateral vibration decreases in the freezing period. However, in the thawing period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations decrease, and the lateral vibration increases. （3） As train speeds increase, the subgrade vibration increases. （4） The vibration induced by a freight train is greater than by a passenger train. These observations provide a better understanding of the vibration and dynamic stability of the subgrade and may be useful in developing criteria for railway and building construction in cold regions.
