A torque ripple reduction technique based on wavelet network of direct torque control running in low-speed is presented. The wavelet network can accurately localizes the characteristics of a signal both in the time and frequency domains, and the occurring instants of the signal change can be identified by the multi-scale representation of the *** advantage of complex wavelet transform, combined information can be obtained from both the magnitudes and arguments of complex wavelet transform coefficients to extract the desired feature of the transient signal. The input nodes of the WN are the stator current error and the change in the stator current error and the output node of the WN is the stator resistance error. The synthesized method of recursive orthogonal least squares algorithm and improved Givens rotation is used to fulfill the wavelet network structure initialization and parameter identification, and then the accurate stator flux vector and electromagnetic torque are acquired by means of state estimator, optimizing the inverter control strategy. The simulation results show effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.

A novel method of stator resistance identification based on wavelet network is presented and the determination of wavelet network structure is discussed in order to improve the low-speed dynamic performance of induction motor in direct torque *** current error and the change in the current error is the inputs of the wavelet network and the stator resistance error is the output of the wavelet *** network structure and parameter identification is fulfilled by the evolutionary *** characteristics of a signal both in the time and frequency domains are localized accurately by means of wavelet transform,so the occurring instants of the stator resistance change can be identified by the multi-scale representation of the *** accurate stator flux vector and electromagnetic torque are acquired by the parameter estimator once the instants are detected,in this way the direct torque control can be applicable in the low region and the inverter control strategy can be *** simulation results show that the wavelet-based method can efficiently reduce the torque ripple and current ripple and is superior to the BP neural network.

＜正＞The direct torque control has emerged recently as a popular control technique for high performance induction motor drives by means of machine parameters minimization,algorithm complexity reduction and linearization *** induction motor torque effectively relies on constructing the stator flux which is closely related to the voltage drop on the stator resistance.A new method of stator resistance identification using wavelet network is brought forward to improve the low-speed dynamic performance of induction motor. Considering advantages of wavelet transform in time-frequency domain,the combined information can be obtained from both magnitudes and arguments of complex *** the time-varying signal characteristic will be extracted and increases the control precision for direct torque *** improved orthogonal least squares algorithm is used to complete wavelet network training and parameter initialization, and then the accurate stator flux vector and electromagnetic torque are acquired,optimizing the inverter control *** training phase,the wavelet network not only learns adequate decision functions defined by the weight coefficients,but also looks for parameter space which fits for reliable input *** simulations as well as experimental results are shown to illustrate the improved performance of the proposed method, indicating torque ripple reduction and system stability.

＜正＞The turbine-generator plays a crucial rule in modern industrial *** risk of turbine-generator set failure can be remarkably reduced if normal service condition can be arranged in *** effective approach based on wavelet neural network is presented for vibration signal analysis and fault *** wavelet transform exhibits not only more comprehensive results,but also delivers a variety of possible explanations to the investigated *** main advantage of wavelet transform for signal analysis is that the wavelet coefficients are obtained by correlating vibration signal with the wavelet basis functions so that all possible fault patterns can be displayed by time-scale *** feature vector obtained from wavelet transform coefficients are presented as input vector for neural *** improved training algorithm is used to fulfill network training process and parameter *** the output values of the neural network,the fault pattern is identified in accordance with the predefined fault feature vectors,which are obtained from practical *** the meantime,the convergence property of wavelet network for fault diagnosis is *** experiment results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective and accurate.

＜正＞A novel method to detect short duration disturbance of distribution power system combing complex wavelet network （WN） with the improved back-propagation algorithm is *** paper tales to explain to design complex supported orthogonal wavelets by Morlet compactly supported orthogonal real wavelets,and then explore the extraction of disturbance signal to obtain the feature information,and finally propose several novel wavelet combined information to analyze the disturbance signal,superior to real wavelet analysis result. The feature obtained from WT coefficients are inputted into wavelet network for power quality disturbance pattern *** power quality disturbance recognition model is established and the improved back-propagation algorithm is used to fulfill the network structure and parameter *** means of choosing enough samples to train the recognition model,the type of disturbance can be obtained when signal representing fault is inputted to the trained network. The results of simulation analysis show that the complex WT combined with wavelet network are more sensitive to signal singularity,and found to be significant improvement over current methods in real-time detection and better noise proof ability.

This paper proposes a new diagnosis method based on the wavelet transform with fuzzy theory in order to improve the limitation of applying traditional fault diagnosis method to the diagnosis of multi-concurrent vibrant faults of turbo-generator *** increase the signal-noise-ratio,a novel method based on the statistic rule is brought forward to determine the threshold of each order of wavelet space and the decomposition level *** binary discrete wavelet transform is used to acquire effective *** fuzzy diagnosis equation based on correlation matrix is used to classify the fault *** network structure is obtained by establishing the fault diagnosis model of turbo-generator set and using the improved least squares *** the robustness of fault diagnosis equation is discussed in this *** faults are input into the trained diagnosis equation by means of choosing enough samples to train the fault diagnosis equation and the information *** type of fault can be determined according to the output *** experiment results show that multi-concurrent fault for stator temperature fluctuation and rotor vibration can be diagnosed effectively by this new method and the diagnosis result is correct.

A novel approach for the power quality（PQ） disturbances classification based on the wavelet transform and self-organizing learning array system is *** network is utilized to extract feature vectors for various PQ disturbances and the wavelet transform can accurately localizes the characteristics of a signal both in the time and frequency *** feature vectors then are applied to the system for training and disturbance pattern *** comparing with a classic neural network,it is concluded that the proposed system has better data driven learning and local interconnections *** research results between the proposed method and the other existing method are discussed and the proposed method can provide accurate classification *** the basis of hypothesis test of the averages,it is shown that corresponding to different wavelets selection,there is no statistically significant difference in performance of PQ disturbances classification and the relationship between the wavelet decomposition level and classification performance is *** simulation results demonstrate the proposed method gives a new way for identification and classification of dynamic power quality disturbances.

A new combined fault diagnosis approach for turbo-generator set based on wavelet fuzzy network is *** wavelet transform is used to extract fault characteristics and neural network is used to diagnose the *** improve the performance of applying traditional fault diagnosis method to the vibrant faults,a novel method based on the statistic rule is brought forward to determine the threshold of each order of wavelet space and the decomposition level adaptively,increasing the signal-noise-ratio（SNR）.The fault modes are classified by fuzzy diagnosis equation based on correlation matrix which shows good ability of self-adaption and *** improved least squares algorithm（LSA）is used to fulfill the net-work structure and the robustness of fault diagnosis equation is *** means of choosing enough samples to train the fault diagnosis equation and the information representing the faults is input into the trained diagnosis equation,and according to the output result the type of fault can be *** applications show that the proposed method can effectively di-agnose multi-concurrent fault for stator temperature fluctuation and rotor vibration and the diagnosis result is cor-rect,increasing the accuracy of the fault diagnosis for rotating machinery.
