Insects damaging and penetr.ting plastic packaged mater.als has been r.por.ed since the *** innovation br.akthr.ughs of plastic biodegr.dation have been initiated since the discover. of biodegr.dation of plastics by Tenebr.o molitor.lar.ae in 2015 followed by Galler.a mellonella in *** we r.view updated studies on the insect-mediated biodegr.dation of *** biodegr.dation by insect lar.ae,mainly by some species of dar.ling beetles(Tenebr.onidae)and pyr.lid moths(pyr.lidae)is cur.ently a highly active and potentially tr.nsfor.ative ar.a of *** the past eight year.,publications have incr.ased explosively,including discover.es of the ability of differ.nt insect species to biodegr.de plastics,biodegr.dation per.or.ance,and the contr.bution of host and micr.biomes,impacts of polymer.types and their.physic-chemical pr.per.ies,and r.sponsible enzymes secr.ted by the host and gut *** date,almost all major.plastics including polyethylene(pE),polypr.pylene(pp),polyvinyl chlor.de(pVC),polyethylene ter.phthalate(pET),polyur.thane(pUr.,and polystyr.ne(pS)can be biodegr.ded by *** and ten other.insect species r.pr.senting the Tenebr.onidae and pyr.lidae *** biodegr.dation pr.cesses ar. symbiotic r.actions or.per.or.ed by syner.istic effor.s of both host and gut-micr.bes to r.pidly depolymer.ze and biodegr.de plastics with hour.y *** digestive ezymens and bior.agents scr.ted by the insects play an essential r.le in plasatic biodegr.dation in cer.ain species of Tenebr.onidae and pyr.lidae *** r.sear.h on the insect itself,gut micr.biomes,tr.nscr.ptomes,pr.teomes and metabolomes has evaluated the mechanisms of plastic biodegr.dation in *** conclude this r.view by discussing futur. r.sear.h per.pectives on insect-mediated biodegr.dation of plastics.

Two novel endo-β-1,4-glucanases,EG45 and EG27,wer. isolated fr.m the gastr.c juice ofmollusca,Ampullar.a cr.ssean,by anion exchange,hydr.phobic inter.ction,gel filtr.tion and a secondr.und of anion exchange *** pur.fied pr.teins EG45 and EG27 appear.d as a single bandon sodium dodecylsulfate polyacr.lamide gel electr.phor.sis with a molecular.mass of 45 kDa and 27 kDa,*** optimum pH for.CMC activity was 5.5 for.EG45 and 4.4-4.8 for.*** optimumtemper.tur. r.nge for.EG27 was br.ad,between 50℃ and 60℃;for.EG45 it was 50℃.The analysis on thestability of these two endo-β-1,4-glucanases showed that EG27 was acceptably stable at pH 3.0-11.0 evenwhen the incubation time was pr.longed to 24 h at 30℃,wher.as EG45 r.mained r.latively stable at *** 85% of the activity of EG27 could be r.tained upon incubation at 60℃ for.24 ***,less than 10% r.sidual activity of EG45 was detected at 50℃.Among differ.nt kinds of substr.tes,bothenzymes showed a high pr.fer.nce for.car.oxymethyl ***45,in par.icular.showed a car.oxymethylcellulose hydr.lytic activity of 146.5 IU/mg *** enzymes showed low activities to xylan (fr.m oatspelt) and Sigmacell 101,and they wer. inactive to p-nitr.phenyl-β-D-cellobioside,salicin and star.h.

Backgr.und Intestinal bar.ier.is a dynamic inter.ace between the body and the ingested food components, however. dietar. components or.xenobiotics could compr.mise intestinal integr.ty, causing health r.sks to the host. Gossypol, a toxic component in cottonseed meal(CSM), caused intestinal injur. in fish or.other.monogastr.c animals. It has been demonstr.ted that pr.biotics administr.tion benefits the intestinal bar.ier.integr.ty, but the efficacy of pr.biotics in maintaining intestinal health when the host is exposed to gossypol r.mains unclear. Her., a str.in(YC) affiliated to pediococcus pentosaceus was isolated fr.m the gut of Nile tilapia(Or.ochr.mis niloticus) and its potential to r.pair.gossypol-induced intestinal damage was *** A total of 270 Nile tilapia(2.20 ± 0.02 g) wer. allotted in 3 gr.ups with 3 tanks each and fed with 3 diets including CON(contr.l diet), GOS(contr.l diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol) and Gp(contr.l diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol and 10^(8) colony-for.ing unit(CFU)/g p. pentosaceus YC), r.spectively. After.10 weeks, addition of p. pentosaceus YC r.stor.d gr.wth r.tar.ation and intestinal injur. induced by gossypol in Nile tilapia. The optical flow analysis of the image sequence based on the for.al lattice Boltzmann equation, with differ.nt DdQm models, is discussed in this paper. The Mgor.thm is based on the lattice Boltzmann method （LBM）, which is used in computational fluid dynamics theor. for.the simulation of fluid dynamics. At fir.t, a gener.lized appr.ximation to the for.al lattice Boltzmann equation is discussed. Then the effects of differ.nt DdQm models on the r.sults of the optical flow estimation ar. compar.d with each other. while calculating the movement vector. of pixels in the image sequence. The exper.mental r.sults show that the higher.dimension DdQm models, e.g., D3Q15 ar. mor. effective than those lower.dimension ones.

A novel type of micr.cavity or.anic light-emitting diode based on a por.us silicon distr.buted Br.gg r.flector.(pS-DBr. has fir.t been achieved and its micr.str.ctur., optical, and electr.cal pr.per.ies have also been investigated in detail. The micr.cavity is made up of the centr.l active or.anic multilayer.sandwiched between a top silver.film and a bottom pS-DBr. for.ed by electr.chemical etching of p++-Si substr.te. The field- emission scanning electr.n micr.scopy cr.ss-section images show the nanometer.scale layer.d str.ctur. and flat inter.aces inside the micr.cavity. The r.flectivity (r.lative to an Al mir.or. of the pS-DBr.is up to 99%, and the stopband is about 160 nm wide. r.sonant cavity mode appear. as a tip in the r.flectivity spectr.m of the Si-based or.anic multilayer.films, which is a symbol that the Si-based or.anic multilayer.str.ctur. is indeed a micr.cavity. The peak widths of the electr.luminescence (EL) spectr. fr.m the cavities emitting gr.en and r.d light ar. gr.atly r.duced fr.m 85 nm and 70 nm to 8 nm and 12 nm, r.spectively, as compar.d with those measur.d fr.m non-cavity str.ctur.s. Note that the EL emission fr.m the cavity devices is single-mode, and the off-r.sonant optical modes ar. highly suppr.ssed. Mor.over. incr.ases of a factor.of about 6 and 4 of the r.sonant peak intensity fr.m the cavities emitting gr.en and r.d light ar. also obser.ed, r.spectively. In addition, the cur.ent-br.ghtness-voltage char.cter.stics and effect par.meter. on the lifetime of the cavity devices ar. also discussed. The pr.sent technique for.obtaining enhanced EL emission fr.m Si-based or.anic micr.cavity may also be another.novel effective method for.r.alizing Si-based optoelectr.nics device integr.tion.

Despite the extensive application of advanced oxidation pr.cesses(AOps)in water.tr.atment,the efficiency of AOps in eliminating var.ous emer.ing contaminants such as halogenated antibiotics is constr.ined by a number.of *** moieties exhibit str.ng r.sistance to oxidative r.dicals,affecting the dehalogenation and detoxification *** addr.ss these limitations of AOps,advanced r.duction pr.cesses(Ar.s)have been ***,a novel nucleophilic r.ductant—namely,the car.on dioxide r.dical anion(CO_(2)^(·-))—is intr.duced for.the simultaneous degr.dation,dehalogenation,and detoxification of flor.enicol(FF),a typical halogenated *** r.sults demonstr.te that FF is completely eliminated by CO_(2)^(·-),with appr.ximately 100%of Cland 46%of Fr.leased after.120 min of *** detoxification is obser.ed,which exhibits a linear.r.sponse to the r.lease of fr.e inor.anic halogen ions(r.(2)=0.97,pr.ation of halogen-fr.e pr.ducts is the pr.mar. r.ason for.the super.or.detoxification per.or.ance of this method,in compar.son with conventional hydr.xyl-r.dical-based *** identification and density functional theor.(DFT)calculations r.veal the under.ying dehalogenation mechanism,in which the chlor.ne moiety of FF is mor. susceptible than other.moieties to nucleophilic attack by CO_(2)^(·-).Mor.over.CO_(2)^(·-)-based Ar.s exhibit super.or.dehalogenation efficiencies(>75%)in degr.ding a ser.es of halogenated antibiotics,including chlor.mphenicol(CAp),thiamphenicol(THA),diclofenac(DLF),tr.closan(TCS),and cipr.floxacin(CIp).The system shows high toler.nce to the pH of the solution and the pr.sence of natur.l water.constituents,and demonstr.tes an excellent degr.dation per.or.ance in actual gr.undwater.indicating the str.ng application potential of CO_(2)^(·-)-based Ar.s in r.al ***,this study elucidates the feasibility of CO_(2)^(·-)for.the simultaneous degr.dation,dehalogenation,and detoxification of halog
