Electron-Beam Irradiation Induced Regulation of Surface Defects in Lead Halide Perovskite Thin Films

Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites(OIHPs)have been intensively studied due to their fascinating optoelectronic *** microscopy and related characterization techniques are powerful to figure out their structure-property relationships at the ***,electron beam irradiation usually causes damage to these beam-sensitive materials and thus deteriorates the associated *** a widely used CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)film as an example,here,we carry out a comprehensive study on how electron beam irradiation affects its ***,our results reveal that photoluminescence(PL)intensity of the film can be significantly improved along with blue-shift of emission peak at a specific electron beam dose *** improvement stems from the reduction of trap density at the CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)*** knock-on effect helps expose a fresh surface assisted by the surface defect-induced lowering of displacement threshold ***,the radiolysis process consistently degrades the crystal structure and weaken the PL emission with the increase of electron beam ***,the final PL emission comes from a balance between knock-on and radiolysis *** advantage of the defect regulation,we successfully demonstrate a patterned CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)film with controllable PL emission and a photodetector with enhanced *** work will trigger the application of electron beam irradiation as a powerful tool for perovskite materials processing in micro-LEDs and other optoelectronic applications.

Van der Waals heterostructures have recently emerged,in which two distinct transitional metal dichalcogenide(TMD)monolayers are stacked vertically to generate interlayer excitons(IXs),offing new opportunites for the design of optoelectronic ***,the bilayer heterostructure with type-II band alignment can only produce low quantum ***,we present the observation of interlayer neutral excitons and trions in the MoSe_(2)/MoS_(2)/MoSe_(2)trilayer heterostructure(Tri-HS).In comparison to the 8 K bilayer heterostructure,the addition of a MoSe_(2)layer to the Tri-HS can significantly increase the quantum yield of *** is believed the two symmetrical type-II band alignments formed in the Tri-HS could effectively promote the IX radiation *** analyzing the photoluminescence(PL)spectrum of the IXs at cryogenic temperature and the power dependence,the existence of the interlayer trions was *** results provide a promising platform for the development of more efficient optoelectronic devices and the investigation of new physical properties of TMDs.

Is proton a charge carrier for δ-MnO_(2) cathode in aqueous rechargeable magnesium-ion batteries?

Manganese dioxide(MnO_(2)) is considered as a potential cathode material for aqueous magnesium-ion batteries. However, the charge/discharge mechanism of MnO_(2)in aqueous electrolyte is still unclear. In present study, highly porous δ-MnO_(2) is investigated, which delivers a high capacity of 252.1 m Ah g^(-1) at 0.05 A g^(-1) and excellent rate capability, i.e., 109.7 m Ah g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1), but a low-capacity retention of 54.4% after 800 cycles at 1 A g^(-1). The two-step discharging process, namely a consequent H^(+) and Mg^(2+) insertion reaction, is verified, by comparing the electrochemical performance of δ-MnO_(2) in 1 M MgCl_(2) and 1 M MnCl_(2) aqueous electrolyte and analyzing detailedly the Mg content and the bonding state of Mn at different charge/discharge state. Furthermore, partial irreversibility of Mg^(-1) ion insertion/extraction is observed, which may be one of the major reasons leading to capacity decay.

Model of Calculating Activity of Nitrogen and Vanadium in Fe-C-V-N Molten Metal

The solubility of nitrogen in the Fe-C-V-N system was measured at 1 708 K and the model of calculating activity （action concentration） of nitrogen （N） and vanadium （V） was derived according to the phase diagram and the coexistence theory of the metal melt structure. The solubility expression of nitrogen in the Fe-C-V-N system at 1 708 K was ωN =0. 058 194-0. 010 367ωc＋0. 005 543 4ωv. Comparing the computing results with the experimental resuits, a satisfactory conclusion could be obtained. The analysis of the Fe-C-V-N system using this model showed that VN was present in a high temperature metal melt, which would reduce the action concentration of nitrogen obviously. It was consequently disadvantageous to the removal of nitrogen from hot metal.

Effect of ash removal on structure and pyrolysis/gasification reactivity of a Chinese bituminous coal

In this study,the effect of ash removal on Shenfu bituminous coal was *** coal was pretreated by hydrofluoric acid(HF)pickling,and the raw/pretreated coal chars were prepared at 900°C in a fixed bed *** structure of coal and char were detected by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and Raman *** reactivity was tested in a thermogravimetric analyzer,including coal pyrolysis and char *** reaction kinetics was analyzed through the Coats–Redfern method,master plots,the model-free and model-fitting *** results show that the HF pickling can remove silicon from coal efficiently,and the macromolecular framework of coal is quite stable according to *** Raman parameters imply some carbonaceous structure on coal surface *** slow pyrolysis of coal,the effect of heating rate is *** changes of pyrolysis characteristics and kinetics are *** char gasification,the reactivity under isothermal and non-isothermal condition are discussed with an emphasis in different residence time of devolatilization *** kinetic control region(low temperature),the activation energy(Ea)is very close(about 240 kJ/mol)for all *** the temperature increases,the reactivity of raw coal char is more easily suffered by *** random pore model is more suitable for the ash-free coal char,and the char with long residence time has a larger value of structural parameterψand smaller value of pre-exponential factor *** Ea calculated by model-fitting and model-free method were in good agreement.

Network traffic classification,which matches network traffic for a specific class of different granularities,plays a vital role in the domain of network administration and cyber *** the rapid development of network communication techniques,more and more network applications adopt encryption techniques during communication,which brings significant challenges to traditional network traffic classification *** the one hand,traditional methods mainly depend on matching features on the application layer of the ISO/OSI reference model,which leads to the failure of classifying encrypted *** the other hand,machine learning-based methods require human-made features from network traffic data by human experts,which renders it difficult for them to deal with complex network *** this paper,the convolution attention network(CAT)is proposed to overcom those *** an end-to-end model,CAT takes raw data as input and returns classification results automatically,with engineering by human *** CAT,firstly,the importance of different bytes with an attention mechanism of network traffic is ***,convolution neural network(CNN)is used to learn features automatically and feed the output into a softmax function to get classification *** enables CAT to learn enough information from network traffic data and ensure the classified *** experiments on the public encrypted network traffic dataset ISCX2016 demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.

We present a novel transient fault detection and classification approach in power transmission lines based on graph convolutional neural *** with the existing techniques,the proposed approach considers explicit spatial information in sampling sequences as prior knowledge and it has stronger feature extraction *** this basis,a framework for transient fault detection and classification is *** structure is generated to provide topology information to the *** approach takes the adjacency matrix of topology graph and the bus voltage signals during a sampling period after transient faults as inputs,and outputs the predicted classification results ***,the proposed approach is tested in various situations and its generalization ability is verified by experimental *** results show that the proposed approach can detect and classify transient faults more effectively than the existing techniques,and it is practical for online transmission line protection for its rapidness,high robustness and generalization ability.

Workers’Cerebrocortical Activity in Hot and Humid Condition:An Electroencephalogram Study

Hyperthermal environments can harm workers’health and ***,it is difficult to include effective protection into standards because heat-related impacts vary significantly accord-ing to individual workers and multiple *** suggested obvious relationship between en-vironment condition and bio-electricity signal,including electroencephalogram(EEG)*** used a detector with 64 electrodes to perform dedicated EEG measurements of nine individual sub-jects to analyze human cerebral activity under hyperthermal(35℃,80%RH)and standard condi-tions(25℃,30%RH).Amplitude changes of the frequency wavebands were analyzed using statist-ical *** participants showed increasing beta activity due to high temperature and high humidity in the primary somatosensory cortex(electrode C3)and the temporopolar region(elec-trode FT 8).The amplitude value of alpha wave is increased from 0.194 to 0.213 while the amp-litude value of beta wave is increased from 0.144 to *** is decreased due to hyperthermal environment for most *** results of this study could be used to inform the development of wearable equipment to monitor the health of on-site workers,which is fundamental to improve worker safety and wellbeing.
