Objective: To determin. if in.emin.tion.at stan.in. heat results in.a similar or higher pregn.n.y rate compared with fixed time artificial in.emin.tion. an. to study some factors affectin. the pregn.n.y rate. Methods: A total of 8944 in.emin.tion. were in.luded in.this study, from which 6823 in.emin.tion. were don. in.Holstein.cows an. 2121 in.emin.tion. were performed in.Simmen.al cows. All cows were subjected to a Presyn.h-Ovsyn.h protocol. Cows detected in.estrus (n.7424) were artificially in.emin.ted, whereas cows n.t observed in.estrus (n.1520) were submitted to fixed time artificial in.emin.tion. Results: The overall pregn.n.y rate of cows in.emin.ted on.the basis of the detected stan.in. heat was comparable to that recorded for cows receivin. fixed time artificial in.emin.tion. A higher pregn.n.y rate was recorded for cows durin. cold mon.hs than.that recorded durin. hot mon.hs (P=0.000). A higher pregn.n.y rate was recorded for Simmen.al compared with that recorded for Holstein.cows (P=0.001). Regardin. parity, sign.fican. differen.es in.the pregn.n.y rate were detected between.primiparous an. multiparous cows (P=0.040). In.addition. artificial in.emin.tion.techn.cian. had n. sigifican. effect on.pregn.n.y rate (P>0.05). Mean.hile, the used artificial in.emin.tion.sires sign.fican.ly (P=0.000) impacted the pregn.n.y rate. Con.lusion.: In.emin.tion.of cows detected in.stan.in. heat prior to predetermin.d fixed time results in.similar pregn.n.y outcome an. decreases days to the first service compared with in.emin.tion.at the scheduled fixed time at the en. of the Presyn.h-Ovsyn.h syn.hron.zation.program. The overall pregn.n.y outcome is n.t affected by the breedin. program, but it is highly impacted by cow's breed, parity, artificial in.emin.tion.sire an. breedin. season.

Aim： To assess semin.l plasma an.i-Müllerian.hormon. （AMH） level relation.hips in.fertile an. in.ertile males. Methods： Eighty-four male cases were studied an. divided in.o four groups： fertile n.rmozoospermia （n.= 16）, oligoasthen.- teratozoospermia （n.= 15）, obstructive azoospermia （OA）（n.= 13） an. n.n.obstructive azoospermia （n.A）（n.= 40）. Con.en.ion.l semen.an.lysis was don. for all cases. Testicular biopsy was don. with histopathology an. fresh tissue examin.tion.for testicular sperm extraction.（TESE） in.n.A cases. n.A group was subdivided accordin. to TESE results in.o un.uccessful TESE （n.= 19） an. successful TESE （n.= 21）. Semin.l plasma AMH was estimated by en.yme lin.ed immun.sorben. assay （ELISA） an. serum follicular stimulatin. hormon. （FSH） was estimated in.n.A cases on.y by radioimmun.assay （RIA）. Results： Mean.semin.l AMH was sign.fican.ly higher in.fertile group than.in.oligoasthen.teratozoospermia with sign.fican.e （41.5±10.9 pmol/L vs. 30.5±10.3 pmol/L, P 〈 0.05）. Semin.l AMH was n.t detected in.an. OA patien.s. Semin.l AMH wascorrelated positively with testicular volume （r = 0.329, P = 0.005）, sperm coun. （r = 0.483, P = 0.007）, sperm motility percen. （r = 0.419, P = 0.021） an. n.gatively with sperm abn.rmal forms percen. （r = -0.413, p = 0.023）. n.n.ign.fican. correlation.was eviden. with age （r = -0.155, P = 0.414） an. plasma FSH （ r = -0.014, P = 0.943）. In.n.A cases, semin.l AMH was detectable in.23/40 cases, 14 of them were successful TESE （57.5%） an. was un.etectable in.17/40 cases, 10 of them were un.uccessful TESE （58.2%）. Con.lusion. Semin.l plasma AMH is an.absolute testicular marker bein. absen. in.all OA cases. However, semin.l AMH has a poor predictability for successful testicular sperm retrieval in.n.A cases.

Purpose: To study the association.between.carotid in.ima media thickn.ss (CIMT) an. high sen.itivity CRP (hs-CRP) level as markers for PAD in.elderly patien.s with DM. Subjects: A case-con.rol study on.90 participan.s aged 60 years an. older divided in.o 60 cases (30 patien.s with DM alon. an. 30 patien.s with DM an. comorbidities) an. 30 healthy con.rols. All were assessed by measurin. CIMT, an.le brachial in.ex (AB), an. markers for cardiovascular disease such as high-sen.itivity CRP (hs-CRP), total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high den.ity lipoprotein.(HDL), an. low den.ity lipoprotein.(LDL). Results: hs-CRP levels showed statistically sign.fican. differen.e bein. highest amon. patien.s with DM an. comorbidities an. lowest amon. con.rols (P n.fican.ly higher amon. cases than.con.rols. ABI was able to detect PAD in.man. asymptomatic patien.s. Color chan.es were presen. in.on.y 43.30% (n.= 26) of positive PAD cases while delayed woun. healin., claudication.pain. rest pain. cold extremities, an. trophic chan.es were presen. in.23.30% (n.= 14), 16.71% (n.= 10), 16.71% (n.= 10), 45.00% (n.= 27), an. 21.7% (n.= 13). 【目的】比较鉴别3个不同类型甜菜品种的产量和品质,以期为在农业产业中的应用提供参考。【方法】分别于2008～2009、2009～2010年度,在埃及KaferEl-Sheikh省(北三角洲)Sakha试验站对分属于3种不同形态分化类型E(Ertrag)、Z(Zucker)和n.n.rmal)的每4个甜菜栽培品种进行两个田间试验。【结果】E类型甜菜的平均块根重和块根产量显著高于Z和n.型的,但Z类型的转光度(蔗糖分)、出糖率(可榨出糖百分比)、回收率最高,而杂质和糖蜜糖最低。此外,糖产量是产量和品质两方面结合的结果,在3个甜菜类型中,糖产量以Farida最高、Lp11最低。此外,在2个年度的试验中,3个类型的每费丹(4200m^2)糖产量均以Farida(E类型)、Glereos(Z类型)和Kawemira(n.型)3个品种最高。【结论】在所有甜菜类型中,n.型甜菜品种的块根产量和糖含量在所有类型表现居中,种植此类型甜菜品种,可使农民和糖厂都获得较大的利益。

Backgroun.: An.mia is reported by man. studies as an.importan. risk factor for poor locoregion.l disease con.rol an. survival in.head an. n.ck carcin.ma. We aimed to study the frequen.y an. progn.stic effect of low hemoglobin.(Hb) level in.head an. n.ck squamous cell carcin.ma (Hn.CC) before radiotherapy (RT) an./or chemoradiotherapy (CRT). Material an. Methods: We retrospectively studied the charts of 86 patien.s diagn.sed with laryn.eal an. hypopharyn.eal SCC in.a un.versity hospital in.Cairo, Egypt. Based on.the World Health Organ.zation.(WHO), an.mia was diagn.sed in.males at Hb levels n. n.females. We examin.d the Hb levels before radiotherapy alon. or combin.d with chemotherapy an. its impact on.re-spon.e to treatmen. an. survival. Results: The median.age was 56 years. 75/86 (87.2%) patien.s were males with performan.e status1 in.73/86 (84.9%) patien.s. The median.Hb level was 13.1 g/dl. The pre-RT/CRT Hb level in.female patien.s (n.= 11) was 12 g/dl in.7/11 (63.6%) patien.s. Pre-RT/CRT Hb level in.male patien.s was n.31/75 (41.3%) an. >13 g/dl in.44/75 (58.7%). Tumor sites were laryn. in.77 (89.5%) an. hypopharyn. in.9 (10.5%) patien.s. Disease stage 3, 4 was common.in.59/86 (68.6%) patien.s. Thirty-six (41.8%) patien.s had surgery. 13/86 (15.1%) patien.s received in.uction.chemotherapy, while 31/86 (36.0%) had con.omitan. chemoradiotherapy. Radiotherapy was given.in.65/86 (75.58%) patien.s. The mean.RT dose was 66 Gy. n.n.an.mic patien.s had sign.fican. higher in.i-den.e of complete respon.e (CR) to treatmen. (p = 0.034). 25.8% of male pa-tien.s with Hb n.iden.e of recurren.e (p = 0.036) com-pared to recurren.e in.39.5% of male patien.s with Hb > 13 g/dl (p = 0.403). Female patien.s whether an.mic or n.n.an.mic had n. recurren.e (p = 0.036 an. p = 0.403 respectively). The median.duration.of DFS an. OS was 6.52 an. 9.33 mon.hs respectively. Pretreatmen. Hb level had statistical sign.fican. effect on.respon.
