The Highlights are the most interesting, selling moments from video stream, which can make the viewer watch the entire video. They are like a shop window: everything that is bright and colorful goes there. Seeing them, the user can understand in advance what is inside the video. And they are more versatile than trailers: they can be made shorter or longer, embedded in different places in the user interface. The user sees a selection of highlights as soon as he gets to the website or watches a video clip on YouTube or even a section of a stream of a popular blogger/influencer. The user’s attention is immediately attracted by the most memorable shots. Naturally, it is becoming more tedious to manually create all video highlights, due to the immense amount of material that the highlights are needed for. Thus, creating an algorithm, capable of automating the process would make the process significantly simpler. Besides easing up the work, this process will pave the way to a whole set of new applications that before did not seem real. At the same time, this would be a new process where the AI would not need to be fully supervised by a human, but be capable of identifying and labeling the most interesting and attractive moments on screen. After doing a literature review on video highlight detection, this paper has utilized the model presented in the study by [1] to determine the possibility of attaining highlights from the Farcana 2.0 version Twitch video feed.

Digital Biomarker Identification for Parkinson’s Disease Using a Game-Based Approach

Despite the fact that their neurobiological processes and clinical criteria are well-established, early identification remains a significant hurdle to effective, disease-modifying therapy and prolonged life quality. Gaming on computers, gaming consoles, and mobile devices has become a popular pastime and provides valuable data from several sources. High-resolution data generated when users play commercial digital games includes information on play frequency as well as performance data that reflects low-level cognitive and motor processes. In this paper, we review some methods present in the literature that is used for identification of digital biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease. We also present a machine learning method for early identification of problematic digital biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease based on tapping activity from Farcana-Mini players. However, more data is required to reach a complete evaluation of this method. This data is being collected, with their consent, from players who play Farcana-Mini. Data analysis and a full assessment of this method will be presented in future work.

Background:To assess minimum and maximum changes in anterior chamber dimensions following routine cataract surgery in non-glaucomatous ***:Forty-two eyes(42 participants)underwent routine cataract surgery with same surgeon and were assessed preoperatively,1,3,6 and 12 months *** outcome measure:Angle-to-angle diameter(AAD)(at 0-180°,45-225°,90-270°,135-315°),Anterior-chamber-angle(ACA)(at 0°,45°,90°,135°,180°,225°,270° and 315°)and central anterior chamber depth(ACD)at all *** outcome measures:relationship to axial length(AL).Results:The mean AAD and ACA increased post-operatively in all meridians at all visits *** 12 months,there was a maximum change in AAD in horizontal meridian(506.55±468.71μm)and least in vertical meridian(256.31±1082.3μm).The mean percentage increase in ACA postoperatively was least at 90o(5%increase compared to 29–35%elsewhere).Central ACD deepened at all postoperative visits and this did not change over 12 *** was no correlation between AAD,ACA and ACD with AL at any ***:The AAD,ACA and ACD increases following cataract surgery in non-glaucomatous eyes,but at 12 months increase in AAD is least in vertical compared to horizontal ***,ACA was narrower(only 5%increase)superiorly compared to elsewhere(29–35%increase in ACA).This may have implications with regards to surgeries performed in the anterior chamber and corneal endothelial cell loss.

Efficacy and Safety of Viusid and Asbrip in Hospitalized Patients with Mild and Moderate COVID-19: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: The aim of this study was to test Viusid and Asbrip as adjuvants to the standard treatment of patients with COVID-19 disease which could favor the recovery of the patients and reduce the hospitalization days. Design: This is a randomized, open-label, controlled trial to determine the efficacy and safety of Viusid and Asbrip in hospitalized patients with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19. Material and Methods: A total of 60 patients with proven COVID-19 disease by PCR test were randomized in a 2:1 ratio. In the active group 40 patients received oral doses of Viusid (30 ml TID) and Asbrip (10 ml TID) plus standard treatment. The control group consisted of 20 patients receiving only standard treatment. The trial began with hospitalization, followed by home treatment for a total of 21 days. Four symptoms were followed: fever, dyspnea, cough and fatigue, assessed by score 0 - 3: 0 = well, 1 = mild, 2 = moderate, 3 = severe, with total sum, Composite Symptom Score (CSS) from 0 to 12. Results: The 21 days diagram of CSS shows statistically better results of Viusid-Asbrip group vs. Control group from day 4 to day 21. Time to semi-recovery in days, assessed by 50% of CSS, is better in Viusid-Asbrip group vs. Control group (6.07 ± 2.77 vs. 8.35 ± 2.94, p = 0.02). Time to recovery in days respectively is (14.05 ± 4.15 vs. 19.25 ± 2.12, p = 0.0001). And Hospitalization days are (9.05 ± 2.58 vs. 12.75 ± 4.44, p = 0.0003). Conclusion: This trial shows that adding of Viusid & Asbrip to the treatment of COVID-19 can contribute to faster recovery of the patients, decreasing of the hospital stay and milder course of the disease.

Atypical presentation of pioderma gangrenosum complicating ulcerative colitis: Rapid disappearance with methylprednisolone

Piodermal gangrenosum (PG) is an uncommon ulcerative cutaneous dermatosis associated with a variety of systemic diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), arthritis, leukaemia, hepatitis, and primary billiary cirrhosis. Other cutaneous ulceration resembling PG had been described in literature. There has been neither laboratory finding nor histological feature diagnostic of PG, and diagnosis of PG is mainly made based on the exclusion criteria. We present here a patient, with ulcerative colitis (UC) who was referred to the emergency section with a large and rapidly evolving cutaneous ulceration. Laboratory and microbiological investigation associated with histological findings of the ulcer specimen allowed us to exclude autoimmune and systemic diseases as well as immuno-proliferative disorders. An atypical presentation of PG with UC was diagnosed. Pulse boluses of i.v. methyl-prednisolone were started, and after tapering steroids, complete resolution of the skin lesion was achieved in 3 wk. The unusual rapid healing of the skin ulceration with steroid mono-therapy and the atypical cutaneous presentation in this patient as well as the risk of misdiagnosis of PG in the clinical practice were discussed.

Interpersonal distances, coping strategies and psychopathology in patients with depression and schizophrenia

AIM: To explore(1) intergroup differences in comfortable interpersonal distances(CIDs) and the use of coping strategies;(2) the association of these parameters with individual symptomatology; and(3) the interplay between CIDs and coping styles in patients with depression and schizophrenia. METHODS: The parameters of interest were assessed by means of standardized questionnaires: CID and Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations. Psychopathology was evaluated with the Beck Depression Inventory and Positive and Negative Syndromes Scale. ANOVA, Pearson's correlations and multiple regression analyses were used to examine relationships among the ***: Compared with controls, depressed patients were more distanced from family members, significant others and self-images, whereas patients with schizophrenia were less distanced from neutral and threatrelated stimuli. Distancing from self-images was mostly associated with depression severity in depressed patients, whereas distancing from hostile and threat-related stimuli with the severity of psychotic and affective symptoms in patients with schizophrenia. Both patient groups used more emotion-oriented than task-oriented and avoidance-oriented coping strategies. Self-distancing among patients with schizophrenia was positively associated with the use of the social diversion coping, implying social support seeking. CONCLUSION: Patients with depression and schizophrenia use different maladaptive emotion- regulation strategies to cope with their symptoms and related distress. Training in stress management might provide these patients with skills for more effective emotion regulation.
