Using the multipoles method,we formulate the problems of water wave radiation(both heave and surge)by a submerged circular cylinder in water with an ice-cover,the ice-cover being modelled as an elastic plate of very small *** leads to an infinite system of linear equations which are solved numerically by standard *** added-mass and damping coefficients for a heaving and surge problems are obtained and depicted graphically against the wave number for various values of flexural rigidity of the ice-cover to show the effect of the presence of ice-cover on these *** the flexural rigidity and surface density of ice-cover are taken to be zero,the ice-cover tends to free-surface then the curves for added-mass and damping coefficients exactly coincide with the curves for the case of water with free *** it is observed that the added-mass and damping coefficients for the two modes of motion are here also the same.

Objective:To study the in vivo efficacy of these two ACTs in the treatment of Plasmodium falciparum {*** malaria) in kolkata and to detennine the prevalence of mutant S769N codon of the PfATPase6 gene among field isolates of *** collected from the study area. As China is emerging as an economic super power of global proportion, there is merit incomparing it to the performance of the Indian economy, particularly during its post reformera. In this article the author focuses on the two economies and analyses why China turnedout to be commendable economic success while India, despite having minor achievements,cannot be considered a comparable case. Although China started on its reform path from asomewhat lower economic level, it outperformed India by a wide margin. In all the measurableareas of economic performance, China measures far superior to India. The article makes aclose comparison and explains the reasons behind the lackluster performance of the Indiaeconomy. Delayed, poorly visualized, shallow and inadequately implemented reforms isonly one of the myriad of reasons behind Indian economy’s jaded and uninspiring *** are several traditional non-economic idiosyncrasies that caused the Indian economyto under-perform.

Protein fusion with the Escherichia coli alkaline phosphatase is used extensively for the analysis of the topology of membrane protein. Agrobacterium strain A6007 was mutagenized with E. coli strain mm294A plasmid pRk609 having TnphoA to obtain mutants defective in virulence. Because alkaline phosphatase activity is only detected when the PhoA gene product from the transposon is secreted out of the protoplasm, the virulence mutants are located in genes that code for transmembrane or periplasmic proteins. Attempts were made to obtain the sequences adjacent to the TnphoA inserts through several different approaches including Inverse PCR, Cloning, and Tail PCR. Transposon-adjacent sequence was obtained from one membrane anchor subunit in Bradyrhizobium japonicum i.e. succinate dehydrogenase which has enhanced transformation efficiency.

Discrete epidemic models are applied to describe the physical phenomena of spreading infectious diseases in a household. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop a modified epidemic chain model by assuming a beta distribution of third kind for the probability of being infected by contact with a given infective from the same household with closed population. This paper emphasizes mainly on developing the probabilities of all possible epidemic chains with one introductory case for three, four and five member household. The key phenomenon towards developing this paper is to provide an alternative model of chain binomial model.
