This work uses isogeometric analysis(IGA),which is based on nonlocal hypothesis and higher-order shear beam hypothesis,to investigate the static bending and free oscillation of a magneto-electro-elastic functionally graded(MEE-FG)nanobeam subject to elastic boundary constraints(BCs).The magneto-electric boundary condition and the Maxwell equation are used to calculate the variation of electric and magnetic potentials along the thickness direction of the *** study is innovative since it does not use the conventional boundary ***,an elastic system of straight and torsion springs with controllable stiffness is used to support nanobeams’beginning and end positions,creating customizable *** governing equations of motion of nanobeams are established by applying Hamilton’s principle and IGA is used to determine deflections and natural frequency *** studies were performed to evaluate the convergence and accuracy of the proposed *** from this,the impact of the input parameters on the static bending and free oscillation of the MEE-FG nanobeam is examined in *** findings could be valuable for analyzing and designing innovative structures constructed of functionally graded MEE materials.

This research aims to analyze the static bending and free vibration behaviors of bidirectional functionally graded porous(BFGP)curved microbeams with elastic boundary conditions resting on a Pasternak’s elastic foundation in a hygro-thermal *** analysis based on non-uniform rational B-splines,first-order shear deformation theory,nonlocal elasticity theory combined with the modified strain gradient theories,modified Timoshenko beam theory are formulated to depict bending and shear deformations of BFGP curved ***,because using the modified Timoshenko beam theory,this study removes the requirement for a shear correction factor and describes shear stress by zero at the upper and lower cross-sectional sites of the BFGP curved *** from traditional boundary conditions,where the beginning and end positions of a curved beam are connected by an elastic system of straight and torsion *** allows for greater flexibility in controlling the stiffness of the springs to obtain arbitrary *** assess the accuracy and convergence of the proposed approach,validation numerical examples were conducted in the various examples.

Synthesis and characterization of core/shell structured nanophosphors CePO_4:Tb@LaPO_4 by solvothermal method

Core/shell structured CePO4：Tb（Ⅲ）@LaPO4 and CePOa：Tb（Ⅲ） were successfully synthesized in tris（2-ethylhexyl） phosphate （TEHP） and diethylene glycol （DEG） solvents for comparison of the two techniques in open air and closed reaction vessel. Morphology and crystal structure of the core/shell nanophosphors were determined by using X-ray diffraction （XRD） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, which showed that nanophosphors had diameter of about 5-10 nm with the monoclinic monazite phase. The nanophosphors obtained by close vessel procedure showed smaller size, more homogeneity and pure crystallite. The luminescent measurements were done upon the different excitation wavelengths in ultraviolet region and at room temperatm＇e to elucidate the influences of the used solvents and the reaction temperatures. It was found that CePO4：Tb@LaPO4 preparedby the close vessel synthesis showed the intensity of green band of the transfer from 5D4 to 7F5 energy level, which was strongly increased, and the luminescent decay time was 3.2 ms, which was longer than that of naked CePO4：Tb phosphor.

In traumatized patients, the primary cause of mortality is uncontrollable continuous bleeding and unexpected intraoperative bleeding which is likely to increase the risk of complications and surgical failure. High expansion sponges are effective clinical practice for the treatment of wound bleeding (irregular/deep/narrow) that are caused by capillaries, veins and even arterioles as they possess a high liquid absorption ratio so can absorb blood platelets easily in comparison with traditional haemostasis treatments, which involve compression, ligation, or electrical coagulation etc. When in contact with blood, haemostatic sponges can cause platelet adhesion, aggregation, and thrombosis, preventing blood from flowing out from wounds, triggering the release of coagulation factors, causing the blood to form a stable polymerized fibre protein, forming blood clots, and achieving the goal of wound bleeding control. Haemostatic sponges are found in a variety of shapes and sizes. The aim of this review is to facilitate an overview of recent research around haemostatic sponge materials, products, and technology. This paper reviews the synthesis, properties, and characteristics of haemostatic sponges, together with the haemostasis mechanisms of haemostatic sponges (composite materials), such as chitosan, cellulose, gelatin, starch, graphene oxide, hyaluronic acid, alginate, polyethylene glycol, silk fibroin, synthetic polymers silver nanoparticles, zinc oxide nanoparticles, mesoporous silica nanoparticles, and silica nanoparticles. Also, this paper reviews commercial sponges and their properties. In addition to this, we discuss various in-vitro/in-vivo approaches for the evaluation of the effect of sponges on haemostasis .

Nanowires/nanorods of europium/terbium orthophosphate monohydrate with Eu^3＋ concentration of 6, 11, and 20 at.% were prepared by microwave synthesis method. The effects of Eu^3＋ doping concentration on structure, morphology and optical properties of nanomaterials were also investigated. The results showed that, for all studied Eu^3＋ doping concentrations, a single-crystalline phase of rhabdophane-type （Eu,Tb）PO4·H2O nanowires/nanorods was obtained by using microwave heating of an aqueous solution of terbium（Ⅲ） nitrate, europium（Ⅲ） nitrate and NH4H2PO4 with pH=2. The length and width of these nanowires/nanorods ranged from 150 to 300 nm and from 10 to 50 nm, respectively. The evidence of energy transfer from Tb^3＋ to Eu^3＋ due to the energy overlap between the donor Tb^3＋ and the acceptor Eu^3＋was observed obviously via a significant enhancement in the luminescent intensity of Eu^3＋.
