Microgrids have presented themselves as an effective concept to guarantee a reliable,efficient and sustainable electricity delivery during the current transition era from passive to active distribution ***,microgrids could offer effective ancillary services(AS)to the power utility,although this will not be possible before the traditional planning and operation methodologies are ***,a probabilistic multi-objective microgrid planning(POMMP)methodology is proposed in this paper to contemplate the large number of variables,multiple objectives,and different constraints and uncertainties involved in the microgrid *** planning methodology is based on the optimal size and location of energy distributed resources with the goal of minimizing the mismatch power in islanded mode,while the residual power for AS provision and the investment and operation costs of the microgrid in grid-connected mode are maximized and minimized,*** that purpose,probabilistic models and a true multi-objective optimization problem are implemented in the *** methodology is tested in an adapted PG&E 69-bus distribution system and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithmⅡ(NSGA-Ⅱ)optimization method and an analytic hierarchy process for decision-making are used to solve the optimization problem.

Pure *** sNbO3(KNN)and KNN doped with Lit(6%mole),Lat(1.66%,5%,6%mole),and Ti+t(10%mole)were prepared by mixture of oxides using high-energy milling and conventional solid-state *** effects of the dopant on the physical properties of pure KNN have been evaluated based on the structural,ferroelectric,pyroelectric,and dielectric *** XRD measurements show that KNN pure sample contains a mixture of monoclinic and orthorhombic crystalline phases,with a slightly higher concentration of monoclinic *** contrast,all doped samples show a higher concentration of the orthorhombic phase,as well as the presence of a secondary phase(K6Nb10.8O3o),also detected by Raman *** samples with a higher concentration of this secondary phase,also present greater dielectric losses and lower values of remnant *** dielectric measurements allowed us to detect temperatures of structural transitions(orthorhombic-tetragonal,O-T)previous to the ferroelectric paraelectric transition(tetragonal-cubic,T-C),and also in this set of samples,a direct correlation was found between the values of remnant polarization and the corresponding pyroelectric signal response.

It has been proposed that given that males should invest in sexual traits at the expense of their investment in immune response, females are better immunocompetent than males. Typically, this idea has been tested in monomorphic species, but rarely has been evaluated in polymorphic male species. We used Paraphlebia zoe, a damselfly with two male morphs： the black-winged morph （Black-W） develop black spots as sexual traits and the hyaline-winged morph （Hyaline-W） resembles a female in size and wings color. We predicted that Black-W should have a lower immune response than Hyaline-W, but that the latter males should not differ from females in this respect. Nitric oxide （NO） and phenoloxidase （PO） production, as well as hemolymph protein content, were used as immune markers. Body size （wing length） was used as an indicator of the male condition. The results show that, as we predicted, females and Hyaline-W had higher values of NO than Black-W, corresponding to differences in size. However, the opposite was found in relation to PO production. females had the highest levels of hemolymph protein content, whereas no differences were found between Black-W and Hyaline-W. These results partially support the sexual selection hypothesis and are discussed in the context of the life history of this species. Black-W, Hyaline-W, and females could express the immune markers that are prioritized by their particular condition, and probably neither of them could express all immune markers in an elevated manner, as this would result in an excessive accumulation of free radicals.

Many scientific fields increasingly use high-performance computing(HPC)to process and analyze massive amounts of experimental data while storage systems in today's HPC environments have to cope with new access *** patterns include many metadata operations,small I/O requests,or randomized file I/O,while general-purpose parallel file systems have been optimized for sequential shared access to large *** buffer file systems create a separate file system that applications can use to store temporary *** aggregate node-local storage available within the compute nodes or use dedicated SSD clusters and offer a peak bandwidth higher than that of the backend parallel file system without interfering with ***,burst buffer file systems typically offer many features that a scientific application,running in isolation for a limited amount of time,does not *** present GekkofS,a temporary,highly-scalable file system which has been specifically optimized for the aforementioned use *** provides relaxed POSIX semantics which only offers features which are actually required by most(not all)*** is,therefore,able to provide scalable I/O performance and reaches millions of metadata operations already for a small number of nodes,significantly outperforming the capabilities of common parallel file systems.

BACKGROUND Psychosocial and physical trauma are known risk factors for irritable bowel syndrome(IBS),including in war veterans,whereas war exposure in civilians is *** experienced two wars,1970-1990:The Sandinistas Revolution(1970s)and The Contra War(1980s).Our aim was to investigate the role of exposure to war trauma in the subsequent development of IBS in the context of an established health surveillance system(11000 households).AIM To investigate in a civilian population the relationship between exposure to war trauma and events and the subsequent development of IBS in the context of an established public health and demographic surveillance system in western *** We conducted a nested population-based,cross-sectional study focused on functional gastrointestinal disorders based on Rome II criteria.1617 adults were randomly *** Spanish Rome II Modular Questionnaire and Harvard Trauma Questionnaire were validated in *** exposure was assessed with 10 measures of direct and indirect war trauma and post-war *** exposures were defined by≥3 *** The prevalence of IBS was 15.2%[female(f)17.1%,Male(M)12.0%],war exposure 19.3%(f 9.3%,M 36.7%),and post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)5.6%(f 6.4%,M 4.3%).Significant associations with IBS in the civilian population were observed(adjusted by gender,age,socioeconomic status,education):physical and psychological abuse[adjusted odds ratio(aOR):2.25;95%confidence interval:1.1-4.5],witnessed execution(aOR:2.4;1.1-5.2),family member death(aOR:2.2;1.2-4.2),and multiple exposures(aOR:2.7;1.4-5.1).PTSD was independently associated with IBS(aOR:2.6;1.2-5.7).CONCLUSION An enduring association was observed in the Nicaragua civilian population between specific civil war-related events and subsequent *** populations in regions with extended armed conflict may warrant provider education and targeted interventions for patients.

The location of gold veins, due to a slanting magma dike intrusion in a cold rock, considering earth surface effects is determined. The 400°C and 500°C isotherm evolution resulting from this magma intrusion are studied considering a 2-D model. In this analysis, it is shown that the isotherm envelopes are the most important surfaces. Analytic solutions have been found as a function of the angle a between the dike and the vertical planes. The present results are more general than previous ones in the contest of vertical dikes. Magma convection has been considered in a simplified way. The agreement found that the results in the work the actual vein sites at the gold mine, called Colombia, in the auriferous area of El Callao, located 180 Km south of Ciudad Guayana in Bolivar state, Venezuela, are much better than in previous works.

Storage backends of parallel compute clusters are still based mostly on magnetic disks,while newer and faster storage technologies such as flash-based SSDs or non-volatile random access memory(NVRAM)are deployed within compute *** these new storage technologies into scientific workflows is unfortunately today a mostly manual task,and most scientists therefore do not take advantage of the faster storage *** approach to systematically include nodelocal SSDs or NVRAMs into scientific workflows is to deploy ad hoc file systems over a set of compute nodes,which serve as temporary storage systems for single applications or longer-running *** paper presents results from the Dagstuhl Seminar 17202"Challenges and Opportunities of User-Level file Systems for HPC"and discusses application scenarios as well as design strategies for ad hoc file systems using node-local storage *** discussion includes open research questions,such as how to couple ad hoc file systems with the batch scheduling environment and how to schedule stage-in and stage-out processes of data between the storage backend and the ad hoc file *** presented are strategies to build ad hoc file systems by using reusable components for networking and how to improve storage device *** interfaces and semantics are presented,for example those used by the three ad hoc file systems BeeOND,GekkofS,and *** presentation covers a range from file systems running in production to cutting-edge research focusing on reaching the performance limits of the underlying devices.

本文的目的是把由GPS-NAVSTAR测量飞行期间确定的摄影机曝光站位置与由精密空中三角测量确定的相应位置进行比较。为了试验测试,在有稠密的和精确的地面控制网的试验区作测量飞行。飞行时,装备了带脉冲发生器的Zeiss RMK A15/23摄影机以记录曝光时间。摄影机和五通道GPS接收机(TP5S-B)与微型计算机接口。由单个接收机获得的GPS原始数据用综合的伪距—相位模式处理,Zeiss C120 Planicomp解析测图仪用于空中三角测量,而PAT—B程序则用于光束法平差。
