AIM:To measure the central choroidal thickness(ChT)in children and adolescents with anxiety ***:Totally 41 anxiety patients(8-16 y)and 35 healthy controls(age-matched)were *** ophthalmic examination was *** criteria were best corrected visual acuity≥20/20,normal intraocular pressure(IOP;10-21 mm Hg),and no systemic or ocular diseases according to *** diagnosis of psychiatric disorders was determined using Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School Aged Children Present-Lifetime Version(K-SADS-PL).Enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OCT)was used to measure the central ***:The mean age was 12.18±3.24 y in the patient group and 12.86±3.15 y in the control *** and gender distribution of the two groups was *** ChT mean value was 353.26±31.9μm in anxiety patients while 318.75±60.9μm in the control *** central ChT was statistically significantly higher in the children and adolescents with anxiety disorders than healthy controls(P=0.002).CONCLUSION:The children and adolescents with anxiety disorders have significantly thicker central ChT than *** the larger sample,longitudinal studies will contribute to the use of choroidal differences as a clinical marker for monitoring anxiety disorders.

Ganoderma lucidum(***)extracts,as dietary supplements,have been found to exert potent anticancer activity,which is attributed to the presence of polysaccharides and ***,the molecular mechanism underlying the anticancer action of *** extracts remains to be ***,we show that ReishiMax GLp,containing *** polysaccharides and triterpenes(GLPT),inhibited cell proliferation and induced cell death in human lung cancer cells(A549 and A427)and simultaneously suppressed the signaling pathways of mammalian target of rapamycin complexes 1 and 2(mTORC1 and mTORC2),***,GLPT downregulated the phosphorylation and protein levels of insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGFR)and phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K)as well as the protein level of RAS homolog enriched in brain(Rheb).In addition,GLPT also activated the AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)*** was evidenced by observations that GLPT increased the phosphorylation of AMPKα(T172)and its substrates tuberous sclerosis complex 2(TSC2,S1387)and regulatory-associated protein of mTOR(raptor,S792).Ectopic expression of dominant-negative AMPKαpartially mitigated the inhibitory effect of GLPT on mTORC1,indicating that GLPT inhibits mTORC1 partly by activating *** results suggest that *** extracts exert anticancer action at least partly by suppressing mTORC1/2 signaling via activation of AMPK and inhibition of IGFR/PI3K/Rheb in tumor cells.

Improved adaptation of winter wheat （Triticum aestivum L.） to drought and heat may be influenced by days to heading, plant height, biomass, canopy temperature （CT） at grain fil ing, and rate of senescence. This study shows that, under supplemental irrigation or rainfed conditions, days to heading and plant height together explain up to 68%of grain yield （GY） variation, and these associations were further confirmed in several locations across West and Central Asia. Days to heading can be slightly reduced below that of check line Karahan to further improve GY while avoiding the effect of late frosts. Plant height has been decreased in recent germplasm, but further reductions below that of check line Karahan could stil improve GY in a wide range of environ-ments. However, in Iranian sites, tal er genotypes showed better adaptation with higher biomass and increased reserves＆amp;nbsp;for grain fil ing. Canopy temperature and rate senescence were not associated with GY. A normalized difference vegetation index, used to estimate biomass （Feekes stages 4-5）, had intermediate heritability across environments and correlated positively with GY under low plant density and should be explored further as a tool for early selection.

Background This study aimed to compare the efficacy of intravenous,intranasal fentanyl and oral sucrose in reducing the pain response during retinopathy of prematurity examinations using premature infant pain profile(PIPP)*** The study included 42 infants who underwent retinopathy screening *** infants were divided into three groups:oral sucrose,intranasal fentanyl,and intravenous *** signs(heart rate,arterial oxygen saturation,and mean arterial pressure)were *** PIPP was used to determine pain *** oxygenation and middle cerebral artery blood flow were evaluated using near-infrared spectroscopy and Doppler ultrasonography,*** data obtained were compared between *** There was no significant difference between the three groups regarding postconceptional and postnatal ages or birth weights and weight at the time of *** babies had moderate pain during the *** correlation was observed between analgesia method and pain scores(P=0.159).In all three groups,heart rate and mean arterial pressure increased,whereas oxygen saturation decreased during the exam compared with pre-examination ***,heart rate(HR),mean arterial pressure(MAP)and arterial oxygen saturation(sPO2)values did not differ between groups(HR,P=0.150;MAP,P=0.245;sPO2,P=0.140).The cerebral oxygenation(rSO2)values between the three groups were found to be similar[rSO2:P=0.545,P=0.247,P=0.803;fractional tissue oxygen extraction(FTOE):P=0.553,P=0.278].Regarding cerebral blood flow values,we also did not find any difference between the three groups[mean blood flow velocity(Vmean):P=0.569,P=0.975;maximum flow velocity(Vmax):P=0.820,P=0.997].Conclusions Intravenous and intranasal fentanyl and oral sucrose were not superior to each other in preventing pain during the examination for retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).Sucrose may be a good alternative for pain control during ROP *** findings suggest

AIM： To compare the effects of treatment of H pyloriinfected individuals with the effects of treatment of individuals as well as all Hpylori-infected family members.METHODS： H pylori-positive patients with similar demographic specifications were prospectively randomized with respect to treatment, with a triple regimen of either patients and all Hpylori-positive family members living together （group Ⅰ ） or patients only （group Ⅱ）. Nine months after treatment, all patients were assessed for H pylori positivity.RESULTS： There were 70 H pylori-positive patients in each group; patients in groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ lived with 175 and 190 Hpylori-positive relatives, respectively. Age, sex and Hpylori positivity rate were similar in both groups of relatives. Nine months after 14 d standard triple therapy, Hpylori positivity was 7.1% in group I patients and 38.6% in group 11 patients [P 〈 0.01, OR = 8.61 95% confidence interval （CI）： 2.91-22.84].CONCLUSION： The present results indicate bad environmental hygienic conditions and close intra-familial relationships are important in H pylori contamination. These findings indicate all family members of H pyloripositive individuals should be assessed for H pylori positivity, particularly in developing countries where H pylori prevalence is high; they also suggest patients, their spouses and all H pyloN-positive family members of H pylori-positive individuals should be treated for H pylori infection.

Pütürge变质地体位于新特提斯构造带南部的土耳其Anatolia逆冲推覆构造带内,形成于欧亚板块与阿拉伯板块之间晚白垩纪碰撞造山事件。Pütürge变质地体主要由变质泥质片岩及片麻岩、花岗质片麻岩、石英岩、角闪岩和大理岩组成,发育类似巴罗型递增变质带的变质带序列,变质程度达高绿片岩相至低角闪岩相。此前该变质地体一直缺乏精确的年代学约束,为此我们采用了二次离子质谱锆石U-Pb测年方法和黑云母40Ar/39Ar测年方法,对该变质地体进行了年代学研究。结果表明,区内花岗片麻岩原岩形成于84.2±1.1Ma,变质泥质片麻岩中黑云母40Ar/39Ar年龄所代表的变质时代为83.21±0.1Ma。这说明早白垩世期间岩浆侵入事件不久,Pütürge变质地体就发生了区域变质作用。

The Yesilova ophiolite located in the Alpine zone. This work deals with differentiation mechanism of ultramafic cumulate in ophiolite. Generally, the sequence consists of gabbro and plagiogranite. The petrographic and petrolgichal properties of it show that the layering in gabbros are products of a differentiation by fractional crystallization insitu. Because it has ferrous compounds （magnetite, hematite） by means of volatiles （H2O, CO2） that evidence magma at high temperatures （〉700 ℃）. Ferrous liquids are compatible with fractional crystallization through olivine, plagioclase, clinopyroxene removal; whereas the evolved gabbros represent clinopyroxene, plagioclase cumulates from ferrous liquids with little amounts of trapped melt. Furthermore, cathodo luminesans image of zircons shows chemichal characteristic of oceanic plagiogranit （such as Fe2O3/MgO, Rb, Sr, Zr, TiO2） that these characters can be explained by fractional crystallization processes in the late stage of magma generation. Furthermore, all plagiogranites have small positive Eu anomalies indicating the significant role of plagioclase in the fractional crystallization. So, the Yesilova ophiolite ultramafic cumulates are the most probably related to crystal-liquid fractionation process of the oceanic crust of the Alpine belt. The plagiogranite is differentiation products of crystal-liquid insitu ofa mafic magma in the magma chamber.

In emergence of design, it is undoubted to be informed from nature for how things get done. But in architecture, the students are not used to start up with biological investigation. Instead of analogues, it is permitted to pursue an evolvability systematics for built emerge. The systematics relies upon the key assumptions of Kirschner who sought the characteristics of biological evolution. For an integrated design thinking of an architectural mind, this is a methodological study, which strategically adapts living forms＇ evolvability capacity to built-forms＇ structural emergence. The study outlines the evolution strategy with experimental studios of building and design. The preceding systematic is taught in distinguished courses. It is purposed to build an easy-to-apply framework for how to generate novel structures and how the spatial structure units are organized to emerge with an imagined nature as novel tectonic model. Besides, building up structural thinking into the consilience of evolution strategy, the study is also distinguished for understanding the value system of architectural mind to diagnose the genuine character of inventive built form. Strategy constructs processes. Thinking strategy concludes by the evolvability directives of studio assignments and they are given as flow-charts and project models.

AIM: To investigate the relationship between encapsulating peritonitis and familial Mediterranean fever (FMF). METHODS: The patient had a history of type 2 diabetes and Iaparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed one year ago for cholelithiasis. Eleven months after the operation she developed massive ascites. Biochemical evaluation revealed hyperglycemia, mild Fe deficiency anemia, hypoalbuminemia and a CA-125 level of 2 700 IU. Ascitic evaluation showed characteristics of exudation with a cell count of 580/mm^3. Abdominal CT showed omental thickening and massive ascites. At exploratory laparotomy there was generalized thickening of the peritoneum and a Iaparoscopic clip encapsulated by fibrous tissue was found adherent to the uterus. Biopsies were negative for malignancy and a prophilactic total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingooophorectomy were performed. RESULTS: The histopathological evaluation was compatible with chronic nonspecific findings and mild mesothelial proliferation and chronic inflammation at the uterine serosa and liver biopsy showed inactive cirrhosis. CONCLUSION: The patient was evaluated as sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis induced by the iaparoscopic clip acting as a foreign body. Due to the fact that the patient had FMF the immune response was probably exaggerated.
