Mesoporous silica(mSiO_(2))has attracted great interest as anode for lithium-ion ***,the low intrinsic conductivity is a major challenge for its *** this study,a low-cost sol–gel method is employed to synthesize mesoporous silica anchored on graphene nanosheets(rGO)for lithium *** results exhibit that the nanocomposite(mSiO_(2)@rGO)with high surface area(616.45 m^(2)·g^(–1))has chemical coupling bonds(Si–O–C)between SiO2 and rGO species,which would be favorable for lithium storage upon synergistic ***,the mSiO_(2)@rGO exhibits a high specific capacity of 1119.6 mAh·g^(–1)at 0.1 A·g^(–1)with outstanding cycling stability(92.5%retention over 1400 cycles at 1.0 A·g^(–1)).

The unique crystal structure and multiple redox couples of iron titanate(Fe_(2)TiO_(5)) provide it a high theoretical capacity and good cycling stability when used as an electrode. In this study, the electrospinning method is employed to synthesize one-dimensional(1 D) Fe_(2)TiO_(5) nanochains. The as-prepared Fe_(2)TiO_(5) nanochains exhibited superior specific capacity(500 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.10 A·g^(-1)),excellent rate performance(180 mAh·g^(-1) at 5.00 A·g^(-1)),and good cycling stability(retaining 100% of the initial specific capacity at a current density of 1.00 A·g^(-1) after1000 cycles). The as-assembled Fe_(2)TiO_(5)/SCCB lithiumion capacitor(lIC) also delivered a competitive energy density(137.8 Wh·kg^(-1))andpowerdensity(11,250 W·kg^(-1)). This study proves that the as-fabricated1 D Fe_(2)TiO_(5) nanochains are promising anode materials for high-performance lICs.

Many electrochemical energy storage devices,such as batteries,supercapacitors,and metal ion capacitors,rely on effective and inexpensive electrode ***,we have developed highly active nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanofoams(NPCNs-600-N)for sodium-ion capacitors(SICs).NPCNs-600-N have a highly porous framework,extended interlayer spacing(0.41 nm),and lots of surface functional ***,NPCNs-600-N achieves a high reversible capacity(301 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.05 A·g^(-1)),superior rate capability(112 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.00 A·g^(-1)),and ultra-stable *** excellent rate and cycling performance originate from the abundant active sites and porous architecture of ***-more,SICs device is constructed by employing the NPCNs-600-N as the battery-like anode and commercial superconductive carbon black as the capacitive cathode,which delivers high energy/power densities of 92 Wh·kg^(-1)/15984 W·kg^(-1)with a remarkable cyclability(93%reten-tion over 5000 cycles at 1.00 A·g^(-1)).The methodology of the work enables the simultaneous tuning of the porous architectures and surface function groups of carbon for high-performance SICs.

To solve the multiple problems of low ionic conductivity,fast capacity decay,and poor cycling performance of Nirich layered cathode materials,liNi_(0.815)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.035)O_(2)@liFePO_(4)@liMn_(2)O_(4)(NCA@lFP@lMO,abbreviated as AFM)series cathode materials with different coating ratios were synthesized by a two-step ball milling method and precise control of the mass coating ratio of lFP and *** cathode material of NCA,lFP and lMO with a mass ratio of 8:1:1(A_(8)F_(1)M_(1))presents a more desirable nanocomposite coating and still can deliver a discharge capacity of 151.67 mAh·g^(-1)(with a 94.52%capacity retention)after 200 cycles at 1.0 ***.

high-efficiency sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) are in great demand for energy storage applications,which are dominated by the Na+storage performance of electrode ***,a one-pot solvothermal method is developed to construct amorphous/crystalline MoO_(2)(a/c-MoO_(2)) homojunction for boosting Na+*** simulations signify that electrons redistribute at the homogenous interface of a/c-MoO_(2),resulting in an inbuilt driving force to easily adsorb charge carriers and promote the electron/ion transfer *** on its crystallographic superiorities,the a/c-MoO_(2)homojunction with high Na adsorbability(-1.61 eV) and low Na diffusion energy barrier(0.519 eV) achieves higher capacity(307 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 A/g),better rate capability and cycling stability than either a-MoO_(2)or c-MoO_(2)*** in-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD) and ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)techniques,the ’adsorption-insertion-conversion’ mechanism is well established for Na+storage of MoO_(2).Our work opens new opportunities to optimize electrode materials via crystallographic engineering for efficient Na+storage,and helps to better understand the effects of homojunction structure in enhanced electrochemical performance.

A new intercalation-type anode material is reported herein to improve the lithium storage kinetics for high-rate lithium ion *** crystal structure of orthorhombic NaNbO3 indicates two possible tunnels for lithium ions insertion into NaNbO3 host along theand***,in situ XRD is conducted to investigate the lithium storage mechanism and structural evolution of the NaNb O_(3) anode,demonstrating its intercalation behavior through(101)and(141)***,the rGO nanosheets are introduced to facilitate the charge transfer,which also effectively prevent the aggregation of NaNbO3 *** expected,the NaNbO_(3)/rGO nanocomposites possess remarkable reversible capacity(465 mA h g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1)),superior rate capability(325 mA h g^(-1) at 1.0 A g^(-1))and cycling stability,attributed to their synergistic effect and high li+diffusion coefficient Dli[D(NaNbO_(3)/rGO)/D(NaNbO_(3))≈31.54].Remarkably,the NaNbO3/rGO-based lIC delivers a high energy density of 166.7 W h kg^(-1) at 112.4 W kg^(-1) and remains 24.1 W h kg^(-1) at an ultrahigh power density of26621.2 W kg^(-1),with an outstanding cycling durability(90%retention over 3000 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1)).This study provides new insights on novel intercalation-type anode material to enrich the materials system of lICs.

Preparation and Characterization of Activated Carbon Fiber from Paper

Activated carbon fibers （ACFS） with surface area of 1388 m2/g prepared from paper by chemical activation with KOh has been utilized as the adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue from aqueous solution. The experimental data were analyzed by langmuir and Freundlich models of adsorption. The effects of ph value on the adsorption capacity of ACFS were also investigated. The rates of adsorption were found to conform to the kinetic model of Pseudo-second-order equation with high values of the correlation coefficients （R〉0.998）. The langmuir isotherm was found to fit the experimental data better than the Feundlich isotherm over the whole concentration range. Maximum adsorption capacity of 520 mg/g at equilibrium was achieved. It was found that ph played a major role in the adsorption process, higher ph value favored the adsorption of MB.
