The effects of Co and Fe co-doping Ni-Mn-In alloy on the phase stability,lattice parameters,mag-netic properties,and electronic structures are systematically investigated by using the first-principles *** indicate that Fe atoms replace the excess Mn2 atoms by direct and indirect coex-istence(Fe→Mn 2 and Fe→In→Mn2);Co substitutes the Ni atoms by direct substitution(Co→Ni)for the Ni-Mn-In *** austenites all exhibit the ferromagnetic(FM)state for the studied *** NM martensites are in the ferrimagnetic(FIM-1)state for the Ni_(2)Mn_(1.5)In_(0.5),Ni_(2)Mn_(1.25)In_(0.5)Fe 0.25,Ni_(1.75)Mn_(1.5)In_(0.5)Co_(0.25),and Ni_(1.75)Mn_(1.25)In_(0.5)Co_(0.25)Fe 0.25 alloys,while the other compositions are in the FM *** phase stability of austenite and martensite decreases with increasing Co and Fe co-doping.A magnetic-structural coupling transition occurs at x<0.25 and y<*** Ni_(1.91)Mn_(1.5)In_(0.5)Co_(0.08)and Ni_(1.91)Mn_(1.42)In_(0.5)Co_(0.08)Fe_(0.08)alloys exhibit an A→6M→NM transformation,accompanied by a magnetic *** Co and Fe are co-doped,the hybridization strength between Co and Fe is greater than that between Co/Fe and *** enhancement of magnetocaloric and elastocaloric effects is favored by larger magnetization difference(△M)and lattice volume change(△V/V_(0)).Based on the calculated phase stability,magneto-structure coupling,△V/V 0 and c/a ratio,one can predict that the Ni_(2)-x Mn_(1.5)-y In_(0.5)Co x Fe y alloy with Co content 0≤x≤0.25 and Fe content 0≤y≤0.05 is predicted to have good magneto-controlled functional behavior.

Temperature prediction model in multiphase flow considering phase transition in the drilling operations

The study considers gas compression properties,gas slippage,back pressure(BP),phase transition(PT),well depth,and differences in gas-liquid physical properties.A new temperature model for multiphase flow is proposed by considering phase transition in the drilling *** mathematical model of multiphase flow is solved using the finite difference method with annulus mesh division for grid nodes,and a module for multiphase flow calculation and analysis is *** results indicate that the temperature varies along the annulus with the variation of gas influx at the bottom of the *** the process of controlled pressure drilling,as gas slips along the annulus to the wellhead,its volume continuously expands,leading to an increase in the gas content within the annulus,and consequently,an increase in the pressure drop caused by gas *** temperature increases with the increase in BP and decreases in gas influx rate and wellbore *** gas influx,the thermal conductivity coefficient for the gas-drilling mud two phases is significantly weakened,resulting in a considerable change in temperature along the *** the context of MPD,the method of slightly changing the temperature along the annulus by controlling the back pressure is feasible.

Cobalt doping amount determines dominant reactive species in peroxymonosulfate activation via porous carbon catalysts co-doped by cobalt and nitrogen

Switching the reaction routes in peroxymonosulfate(PMS)-based advanced oxidation processes have attracted much attention but remain ***,a series of Co-N/C catalysts with different compositions and structures were prepared by using bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks based on ZIF-8 and ZIF-67(x Zn/Co-ZIFs).Results show that Co doping amount could mediate the transformation of the activation pathway of PMS over CoN/*** Co doping amount was less than 10%,the constructed x Co-N/C/PMS system(x≤10%)was singlet oxygen-dominated reaction;however further increasing Co doping amount would lead to the generation and coexistence of sulfate radicals and high-valent cobalt,besides singlet ***,the nitrogen-coordinated Co(Co-NX)sites could serve as main catalytically active sites to generate singlet *** excess Co doping amount caused the formation of Co nanoparticles from which leached Co ions were responsible for the generation of sulfate radicals and high-valent *** to undoped N/C,Co doping could significantly enhance the catalytic *** 0.5%Co-N/C could achieve the optimum degradation(0.488 min^(-1))and mineralization abilities(78.4%)of sulfamethoxazole among the investigated Co-N/C catalysts,which was superior to most of previously reported *** addition,the application prospects of the two systems in different environmental scenarios(pH,inorganic anions and natural organic matter)were assessed and showed different degradation *** study provides a strategy to regulate the reactive species in PMS-based advanced oxidation process.

Limestone or quicklime is a necessary flux in the iron ore sintering *** production and application process will cause CO_(2) emissions and various environmental pollution,but this has not attracted enough *** slag(CS)is a calcium-rich solid waste produced in acetylene production,the harmless disposal of which is still incomplete,resulting in soil and groundwater *** study investigated the granulation characteristics and sintering performance of the sintering mixture with different proportions of *** results show that replacing limestone with an appropriate proportion of CS is promising and beneficial to the formation of high-quality bonding *** CS accounts for 75%of the total mass of CS and limestone,the tumbler index increases by 8.10%and the comprehensive index decreases only from 100 to 96.16,which is within the acceptable *** application of CS in iron ore sintering can achieve a clean disposal of it and a considerable carbon emission reduction,as the main component of which is Ca(OH)_(2).

Persistent radical anion of perylene dianhydride:an emerging metal-free photocatalyst for near-infrared photocontrolled RAFT polymerization

Developing a new type of photocatalyst(PC) and catalytic mechanism for near-infrared(NIR) photocontrolled reversibledeactivation radical polymerization(RDRP) system is charming but ***,a novel PC of the persistent radical anion(PRA)(possessing the properties of both radical and anion) was developed for NIR photocontrolled reversible additionfragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization,enabling successful polymerization while gaining a deep insight into the mechanism of photo-induced electron transfer RAFT(PET-RAFT) *** from the conventional and wellaccepted reductive quenching(RQ) pathway,in which the radical anion intermediates of PCs(PCs^(·-)) must be generated in an excited state(ES),here,the PRA(3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride radical anion(PTCDA^(·-))) could generate conveniently in situ in the ground state(GS) and subsequently serve as highly efficient PC in the NIR region(740–850 nm).The successful implementation of this strategy elucidates the peculiar role played by light and the real way of electron transfer *** fact,the transfer of a single electron from PRA to chain transfer agent(CTA) and cleavage of the C–S bonds is a process from ES to GS,rather than always from GS(PCs^(·-)) to GS(CTA) in the RQ pathway as is well known to *** addition,the excellent spatial-temporal control and powerful penetration ability of the NIR light were also confirmed by this PRAcatalyzed polymerization system.

A novel thermally-stable single-phase phosphor Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):Dy^(3+)for NUV-excited white LEDs

The work focuses on the utilization of the conventional solid-state sintering procedure to synthesize white phosphors Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):xDy^(3+)(0.02≤x≤0.12).Utilizing X-ray diffraction,the phase structure of samples was examined,and the crystal structure was refined using the Rietveld method.A scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the microstructure of ***-principles calculations confirm that the indirect bandgap of Ca_(2)InTaO_(6)is 3.786 eV,The luminous properties and energy transfer mechanism of Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):xDy^(3+)were studied using photoluminescence ***~4F_(9/2)→~6H_(13/2)transition of Dy^(3+)ions is responsible for the greatest emission peak,which was measured at 575 *** to research,the lifespan falls as the concentration of Dy^(3+)doping amount rises because of frequent interaction and ene rgy transfer between Dy^(3+)*** correlated color temperature of the WLEDs packaged with Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):0.08Dy^(3+)is 4677 K and CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinates are(0.3578,0.3831).Meantime,the phosphor also shows outstanding te mperature stability property,which maintains 83.8%of its initial emission intensity at 450 K(activation energy of 0.1467 eV).The W-LEDs retain their performance for 100 min when powered at 3.4 V voltage and 600 mA current,demonstrating the packed W-LEDs'sustaine d operation at high temperatures.

Flow characteristics of radial inflow in impeller rear cavity with baffle plate

The research purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of the baffle plate on the airflow in the rear cavity of the centrifugal impeller and optimize the performance of the secondary air system’s air bleed *** this paper,a comprehensive experimental study was carried out on the flow characteristics in the impeller rear cavity with baffle *** windage torque,flow structure and pressure drop between inlet and outlet were measured *** experiment was carried out with the condition that the range of rotational Reynolds number was from 8.33×10^(5)to 22.2×10^(5)and the range of mass flow rate coefficient was from 0.92×10^(4)to 2.92×10^(4).The results show that the static cavity and the narrow stator-rotor cavity formed by the baffle plate effectively suppress the overall swirl coefficient in the ***,the static pressure and total pressure drop in the rotor-stator cavity were *** influence of the baffle plate on the windage torque of the rotary disk is related to the turbulence *** large turbulence parameters,the windage torque would be reduced with baffle plate,while under small turbulence parameters,the baffle plate would increase with baffle *** general,the baffle plate can improve the flow capacity and optimize the bleed air performance with proper structure and operation conditions.

pH Induced Self-assembly of AIE Fluorescent Probe for Tumor Imaging

This work reported an AIE fluorescent probe for tumor imaging based on the p H induced self-assembly strategy. The fluorescent probe was composed of an acid-responsive soluble copolymer PEG-b-PAMA-DMMA with a maleic acid amide group and an anionic soluble aggregation-induced emission fluorogen(AIEgen) TPE-2SO_(3)^(-). The polymer could be transformed into a protonated amine-containing polymer after the hydrolysis of maleic acid amide in acidic tumor microenvironment, which would be further self-assembled with TPE-2SO_(3)^(-)to form aggregated nanoparticles. The transition of TPE-2SO_(3)^(-)from dispersed state to aggregated state led to an obvious increase in fluorescence intensity due to its AIE characteristics.

Collaborative robust dispatch of electricity and carbon under carbon allowance trading market

The launch of the carbon-allowance trading market has changed the cost structure of the power *** is an asynchronous coupling mechanism between the carbon-allowance-trading market and the day-ahead power-system *** this study,a data-driven model of the uncertainty in the annual carbon price was ***,a collaborative,robust dispatch model was constructed considering the annual uncertainty of the carbon price and the daily uncertainty of renewable-energy *** model is solved using the column-and-constraint generation *** operation and cost model of a carbon-capture power plant(CCPP)that couples the carbon market and the economic operation of the power system is also *** critical,profitable conditions for the economic operation of the CCPP were *** studies demonstrated that the proposed low-carbon,robust dispatch model reduced carbon emissions by 2.67%compared with the traditional,economic,dispatch *** total fuel cost of generation decreases with decreasing,conservative,carbon-price-uncertainty levels,while total carbon emissions continue to *** the carbon-quota coefficient decreases,the system dispatch tends to increase low-carbon unit *** study can provide important guidance for carbon-market design and the low-carbon-dispatch selection strategies.
