Radiolarian and Planktic Foraminifera Biostratigraphy of the Early Albian Organic Rich Beds of Fahdene Formation,Northern tunisia

the lower part of Fahdene Formation outcropping in northeastern tunisia is repre- sented by pelagic sequences and characterized by an important siliciclastic fraction that includes ra- diolarian and organic-rich beds of Allam Member. Litho-biostratigraphic analysis based on planktic foraminifera and radiolaria shows that deposition of organic-rich beds of Allam Member is confined to the Microhedbergella rischi Zone through the lower part of ticinella primula Zone. Age diagnostic radiolaria recovered from these beds has been identified to constrain a direct age of black shale depo- sition. the assemblages can be correlated with the radiolarian biochronozone U.A.10-11 indicating an Early Albian to early Middle Albian in age. Radiolarian assemblages composed of species characteris- tic of U.A.10 biochronozone （A. montisserei, D. gracilis） are associated with radiolarian taxa belonging to Costata Zone （U.A.9 Pseudoeucyrtis hanni and thanarla pseudodecora）, which can be correlated with Dercourt Member in the Ionian Zone and Paquier level of the Vocontian Basin （southeast of France）. Biostratigraphic and abundance curves analysis has demonstrated significant diversification of cryptocephalic Nassellaria and Archaeodictyomitrae, probably adapted to eutrophic conditions that characterized the Aptian-Albian transition. Ecological conditions may have governed the stratigraphic range of many cosmopolitan taxa （i.e., Pseudodictyomitrae lodogaensis） compared with stratigraphic distributions schemes reported from other domains. the timing of black shales deposition was dia- chronic due to local geodynamic conditions and upwelling currents distribution. the Allam black shales are correlative with the oceanic anoxic event OAElb which is characterized by the widespread of supraregionnally organic-rich beds in the Mediterranean tethys basins across the Aptian-Albian transition.

Synthesis and characterization of high strength polyimide/silicon nitride nanocomposites with enhanced thermal and hydrophobic properties

Polyimide(PI)composite films were synthesized incorporating amino modified silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4))nanoparticles into PI matrix via in situ polymerization *** mechanical and thermal performances as well as the hydrophobic properties of the as prepared composite films were investigated with respect to the dosage of the filler in the PI *** to thermogravimetric(tGA)analysis,meaningful improvements were achieved in t5(5%weight loss temperature)and t10(10%weight loss temperature)up to 54.1℃ and 52.4℃,respectively when amino functionalized nano Si_(3)N_(4) particles were introduced into the PI *** differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)results revealed that the glass transition temperature(tg)of the composites was considerably enhanced up to 49.7℃ when amino functionalized Si_(3)N_(4) nanoparticles were incorporated in the PI *** to the neat PI,the PI/Si_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites exhibited very high improvement in the tensile strength as well as Young’s modulus up to 105.4%and 138.3%,*** to the neat PI,the composites demonstrated highly decreased water absorption behavior which showed about 68.1%enhancement as the content of the nanoparticles was increased to 10 wt%.the SEM(Scanning electron microscope)images confirmed that the enhanced thermal,mechanical and water proof properties are essentially attributed to the improved compatibility of the filler with the matrix and hence,enhanced distribution inside the matrix because of the amino groups on the surface of Si_(3)N_(4) nanoparticles obtained from surface functionalization.

Cork oak forests in Morocco are rich in resources and services thanks to their great biological diversity,playing an important ecological and socioeconomic *** degradation of the forests has been accentuated in recent years by signifi cant human pressure and eff ects of climate change;hence,the health of the stands needs to be *** this study,the Google Engine Earth platform was leveraged to extract the normalized diff erence vegetation index(NDVI)and soil-adjusted vegetation index,from Landsat 8 OLI/tIRS satellite images between 2015 and 2017 to assess the health of the Sibara Forest in *** results highlight the importance of interannual variations in NDVI in forest monitoring;the variations had a signifi cantly high relationship(pth dieback *** was positively and negatively correlated with mean annual precipitation and mean annual temperature with respective coeffi cients of 0.49 and−0.67,highlighting its ability to predict phenotypic changes in forest *** interannual variation in NDVI between 2016 and 2017 seemed to confi rm fi eld observations of cork oak dieback in 2018,with the largest decreases in NDVI(up to−38%)in December in the most-aff ected *** of the infl uence of ecological factors on dieback highlighted the role of substrate as a driver of dieback,with the most severely aff ected plots characterized by granite-granodiorite substrates.

Electrical grid power quality is a global issue. the grid must supply electricity at sinusoidal voltages and currents without frequency or amplitude fluctuations. Harmonics from non-linear loads change the stable reference point voltage waveform and cause other problems. Harmonic reduction is essential for grid health. Electrical and electronic equipment users, manufacturers, and suppliers all contribute. this article presents a case analysis of the plastic processing industry, which has historically struggled with a difficulty related to the fifth harmonic. Unwanted harmonics are reduced by using a single-tuned passive filter, a double-tuned passive filter, and a second-order damped filter. the total harmonic distortion is almost identical, but the second-order damped filter provides the best harmonic mitigation, meeting the requirements of the IEE 519-1992 Standard.

Structural,optical and magnetic properties are reported for new synthesized perovskite ***_(0.3)La_(0.7)ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) and Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3) compositions were prepared via solid state reaction.X-ray analysis confirms that both compositions show feature of perovskite *** refinement method was used to confirm the phase formation and investigate the structure and space *** study demonstrates the formation of orthorhombic structure with Pnma space group for Ba_(0.3)La_(0.7)ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) while the composition Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3) structure adopts Pbnm ***–vis spectroscopy measurements show very broad and intense UV–visible light absorption,the estimated band gap ranges between 2.07 and 2.15 *** measurements were carried out for the compositions Ba_(0.3)La_(0.7)ti_(0.3)Fe_(0.7)O_(3) and Ba_(0.1)La_(0.9)ti_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3).the hysteresis loops of both samples at 300 and 10 K show a strong ferromagnetic *** temperature dependent magnetization at 0.05 t under field-cooled(FC)and zero field cooled(ZFC)modes shows magnetic frustration or spin glass-like behavior.

BACKGROUND Chronic abdominal pain is the most common cause for gastroenterology consultation and is frequently associated with functional gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. these disorders present similar brain/gut/microbiota trialogue alterations, associated with abnormal intestinal permeability, intestinal dysbiosis and colonic hypersensitivity(CHS). Intestinal dysbiosis can alter colon homeostasis leading to abnormal activation of the innate immunity that promotes CHS, perhaps involving the toll-like receptors(tLRs), which play a central role in innate *** to understand the mechanisms between early life event paradigm on intestinal permeability, fecal microbiota composition and CHS development in mice with tLRs expression in *** Maternal separation model(NMS) CHS model, which mimics deleterious events in childhood that can induce a wide range of chronic disorders during adulthood were used. Colonic sensitivity of NMS mice was evaluated by colorectal distension(CRD) coupled with intracolonic pressure variation(IPV) measurement. Direct-acting antiviral (DAA) therapy is often well-tolerated, and adverse events from DAA therapy are uncommon. We report a case of a woman who underwent orthotopic liver transplant for chronic hepatitis C infection and later devel-oped alloimmune hepatitis shortly after starting DAA therapy for recurrent hepatitis C infection. the patient developed acute alloimmune hepatitis approximately 2 weeks after starting treatment with sofosbuvir, velpatasvir, and voxilap-revir. this case report proposes a dysregulation of immune surveillance due to the DAA stimulation of host immunity and rapid elimination of hepatitis C viral load as a precipitating factor for the alloimmune process, leading to alloimmune hepatitis in a post-transplant patient who starts on DAA.
