Neddylation is necessary f.r activation of.Cullin-RING ligases(CRLs),which degrade various immune regulatory *** recent study showed that while depletion of.neddylation E2-E3 pair Ube2f.Sag in regulatory T(T_(reg))cells had no obvious phenotype,the same depletion of.either Ube2m or Rbx1 caused inf.ammation disorders with dif.erent *** these E2s or E3s compensate each other in f.nctional regulations of.T_(reg)cells is,however,previously *** this report,we generated f.xp3^(Cre);Ube2m^(f./f.);Ube2f.(f./f.)or f.xp3^(Cre);Rbx1^(f./f.);Sag^(f./f.)double-null mice by simultaneous deletion of.both neddylation E2s or E3s in T_(reg)cells,***,Ube2m&Ube2f.double-null mice developed much severe autoimmune phenotypes than did Ube2m-null mice,indicating that Ube2m markedly compensates Ube2f.in T_(reg)*** minor worsened autoimmune phenotypes seen at the very early stage in Rbx1&Sag double-null than Rbx1-null mice is likely due to already severe phenotypes of.the later,indicating a minor compensation of.Rbx1 f.r *** RNA prof.ling-based analyses revealed that up-and down-regulations of.f.w signaling pathways in T_(reg)cells are associated with the severity of.autoimmune ***,severer inf.ammation phenotypes seen in mice with double E3-null than with double E2-null T_(reg)cells indicate a neddylation-independent mechanism of.2 E3s,also known to serve as the RING component of.CRLs in regulation of.T_(reg)cell f.tness.

The Submillimeter Wave Astronomy Satellite(SWAS)was the f.rst space telescope capable of.high spectral resolution observations of.terahertz spectral *** have investigated the integration ability of.its two receivers and spectrometer during f.ve and a half.years of.on-orbit *** CI,O_(2),H_(2)O,and^(13)CO spectra taken toward all observed Galactic sources were *** present results are based on spectra with a total integration time of.up to 2.72×10~4hr(■10~8s).The noise in the spectra is generally consistent with that expected f.om the radiometer equation,without any sign of.approaching a noise *** noise perf.rmance ref.ects the extremely stable perf.rmance of.the passively cooled f.ont end as well as other relevant components in the SWAS instrument throughout its mission lif.time.

Background and study aims:Celiac disease can manif.st with nonspecif.c symptoms,including f.nctional gastrointestinal disorders such as *** aim of.our study was to assess the usef.lness of.duodenal endoscopic markers of.villous atrophy f.r the selection of.dyspeptic patients f.r histological *** and methods:Esophagogas troduodenoscopy was perf.rmed in dyspeptic patients,in patients considered to be at risk of.having celiac disease,and in healthy *** least three duodenal biopsies were perf.rmed f.r histological assessment of.villous atrophy in all patients and *** looked f.r the f.llowing f.ur duodenal endoscopic markers of.celiac disease:reduction in the number of.f.lds,scalloping of.f.lds,mosaic-pattern mucosa,and nodular ***:A total of.175 people were enrolled(75 patients with dyspepsia;75 patients who were “ at risk” of.having celiac disease;and 25 healthy volunteers,or “ controls”) .Of.the dyspeptic patients,f.ur had endoscopic markers of.celiac disease with no histologically conf.rmed villous atrophy,while one patient without endoscopic markers was f.und to have Marsh type I villous *** the patients at risk of.having celiac disease,16 had at least one endoscopic marker and 10/16 were f.und to have histological villous *** this group,the sensitivity and specif.city of.the endoscopic markers were 100% and 90.8% respectively.“ At-risk” patients with two or more endoscopic markers all had histologically conf.rmed villous *** endoscopic markers nor villous atrophy were f.und in any of.the control ***:Additional endoscopic markers are valuable f.r diagnosis in patients with clinical symptoms suggestive of.celiac *** contrast,endoscopic markers of.villous atrophy are not usef.l f.r selecting a subgroup of.dyspeptic patients f.r screening f.r celiac disease by duodenal histological *** patients should be screened using other protocols.

Goals: To assess epidemiologic f.atures and predictive f.ctors of.mortality of.acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB). Study: During a 6-month period, a prospective population based study including all the UGB occurring in a geographic area of.3 million people was conducted. Data f.om cirrhotic patients were compared with those of.noncirrhotic patients. Results: A total of.2,133 UGIB were recorded, 21.9%in cirrhotic patients (n = 468). Endoscopic hemostasis was perf.rmed in 46.5%and 8.3%in cirrhotic and noncirrhotic patients, respectively (P dictive f.ctors of.mortality were observed in both patient groups: a prothrombin level less than 40%, an UGIB occurring in inpatients, a concomitant digestive carcinoma, a hematemesis revealing the UGIB, a recent use of.steroid drugs, and age over 60 years. f.ur other predictive f.ctors of.mortality were also identif.ed in noncirrhotic patients. Conclusions: Although epidemiologic f.atures, clinical course, management, and prognosis of.UGIB were quite dif.erent in cirrhotic and noncirrhotic patients, the majority of.predictive f.ctors of.mortality were the same in both patient groups. These data underline the major role of.debilitated status and hepatic f.ilure in the prognosis of.UGIB in cirrhotic patients.

In the present work,a multi-element nanoglass(m-NG)of.f.CoCrMoCBY is obtained f.rst time by the laser ablation combined with inert gas condensation(laser-IGC)*** with the conventional rapid-quenched metallic glass(MG)with identical composition,the f.-based m-NG demonstrates a superior perf.rmance as a self.supported electrocatalyst f.r hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in acidic *** enhanced HER activity of.m-NG is proposed to be closely related to its high en-ergy states,which is originated f.om the unique inhomogeneous nanostructures with a high density of.low-coordinated ***,the f.-based m-NG exhibits an outstanding comprehensive catalytic perf.rmance even beyond the commercial Pt/C catalyst in long-term test due to its self.optimization *** work not only opens the way to the preparation of.m-NGs by the novel laser-IGC technique,but also makes a great contribution to developing low-cost,high-ef.icient,and super-durable HER electrocat-alysts in acidic environment.

Methionine(Met)is an essential and f.rst limiting amino acid in the poultry diet that plays a signif.cant role in chicken embryonic development and *** present study examined the ef.ect of.in ovo injection of.DL-Met and L-Met sources and genotypes on chicken embryonic-intestinal development and *** eggs of.the two genotypes,TETRA-SL layer hybrid(TSL)—commercial layer hybrid and Hungarian Partridge colored hen breed(HPC)—a native genotype,were randomly distributed into f.ur treatments f.r each *** treatment groups include the f.llowing:1)control non-injected eggs(NoIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)DL-Met injected(DLM);and 4)L-Met injected(LM).The in ovo injection was carried out on 17.5 d of.embryonic development;af.er hatching,eight chicks per group were sacrif.ced,and the jejunum was extracted f.r *** results showed that both DLM and LM groups had enhanced intestinal development as evidenced by increased villus width,villus height,and villus area(Pf.cantly reduced crypt depth,glutathione(GSH)content,glutathione S-transf.rase 3 alpha(GST3),occludin(OCLN)gene expression and increased villus height to crypt depth ratio in the TSL genotype than the LM group(Pf.ctor 1(IGf.)gene,tricellulin(MD2),occludin(OCLN),superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1),and GST3 genes than the TSL genotype(Pf.ndings showed that in ovo injection of.Met enhanced intestinal development,and f.nction,with genotypes responding dif.erently under normal *** also inf.uenced the expression of.intestinal antioxidants,tight junction,and growth-related genes.
