BACKGROUND diabetic nephropathy(DN)is associated with a high incidence of type 2 diabetic mellitus(T2DM)in *** obesity is an important risk factor for DN,represented by a series of indices,including waist circumference,waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),hip circumference,and visceral to subcutaneous fat area ratio(VSR).However,limited research has focused on the association between these indices and *** To elucidate the relationship between central fat distribution,as measured by WHR and VSR,and the DN *** Between August 2018 and April 2023,a total of 991 individuals were retrospectively recruited from the Rui’an People’s Hospital for this cross-sectional *** 753 individuals with T2DM were divided into three groups according to the urinary albumin/creatinine ratio(ACR):normal albuminuria(n=513,ACRlinical proteinuria(n=45,ACR≥300 mg/g).RESULTS Our results indicated that WHR and VSR were closely correlated with sex,ageing,body mass index,hypertension,T2DM causes,and experience of drinking and smoking,and potential relationships between these factors and DN progression were ***,but not VSR,gradually increased with the severity of early-stage renal *** serum lipid levels in T2DM patients with early-stage renal injury were strongly correlated with *** regression analysis revealed that WHR may be an independent risk factor for early-stage renal *** In patients with T2DM,WHR level,rather than VSR level,is closely associated with early-stage renal *** abnormal serum lipid spectrum was common in all stages of renal injury and was strongly related to high ***,WHR measurement might be a valuable tool for the early prevention of renal injury,which could guide clinical monitoring and prevent diabetic complications.

The long-term consequences of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection,known as the post-acute sequelae of COVID-19(PASC),have been a growing concern.A significant proportion of COVID-19 patients experience persistent health issues even six to twelve months after recovering from acute infection[1],[2],[3],[4].Therefore,understanding the immune reconstitution process and identifying the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying PASC is crucial.

33例嗜酸性肉芽肿性多血管炎患者的临床特征分析

目的描述并总结嗜酸性肉芽肿性多血管炎(eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis,EGPA)的临床特征,提高对该病的认识。方法收集2017年1月至2022年8月在复旦大学附属中山医院诊治的33例EGPA患者,诊断参照1990年美国风湿病学会(American College of Rheumatology,ACR)关于EGPA的分类标准,回顾性分析患者的临床表现、实验室检查和治疗转归等。结果33例EGPA患者中男性22例(66.7%),女性11例(33.3%),确诊时平均年龄(47.42±15.83)岁。首诊科室以风湿免疫科(23例,69.7%)为主,其次是呼吸内科(6例,18.2%)。临床表现以皮肤受累最多见(皮疹、溃疡、坏疽和梗死,23例,69.7%),其次为哮喘(17例,51.5%)、浸润性肺炎(14例,42.4%)、周围神经病变(9例,27.3%)、血栓形成(9例,27.3%)。所有患者的嗜酸性粒细胞绝对值平均数为(3.43±3.52)×10^(9)/L,有8例(24.2%)患者抗中性粒细胞胞浆抗体(antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody,ANCA)阳性。和ANCA阴性患者相比,ANCA阳性患者伯明翰血管炎活动度评分(Birmingham Vasculitis Activity Score,BVAS)和嗜酸性粒细胞计数显著升高,肾脏受累更常见(P<0.05)。32例(97%)患者接受糖皮质激素治疗,11例(33.3%)患者使用过生物制剂或托法替尼治疗,6例接受托法替尼治疗的患者中有5例获得了疾病缓解。结论EGPA临床表现多样,ANCA阳性患者疾病活动性更高,应建立多学科的EGPA诊疗体系。

Reliable resource allocation with RF fingerprinting authentication in secure IoT networks

The unprecedented growth of the Internet of Things(Io T) has led to a huge amount of wireless resource consumption in a network. Due to limited wireless resources, a network can only guarantee the quality of service(QoS) of authenticated users rather than that of all users. By acknowledging this limitation,we realise that user authentication would be a big issue in Io T networks. Although traditional authentication methods can enhance network security to a certain extent, their vulnerability to malicious attacks and the relevant complicated computations restrict Io T deployments. In this paper, a radio frequency(RF)fingerprinting based authentication scheme is proposed under the architecture of convolutional neural network(CNN). It can effectively prevent unauthenticated users from consuming valuable wireless resources and significantly improve QoS performance for legitimate users. By solving an NP-hard optimization problem with the objective of minimizing efficient energy density, we demonstrate an approximate optimal resource allocation scheme in consideration of an RF-fingerprinting based authentication process. The analytic results show that our proposed scheme can dramatically reduce the efficient energy density compared with traditional cryptography based authentication schemes.

Flexible predictive power-split control for battery-supercapacitor systems of electric vehicles using IVHS

The utilization of traffic information received from intelligent vehicle highway systems(IVHS) to plan velocity and split output power for multi-source vehicles is currently a research hotspot. However, it is an open issue to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power between different supply units simultaneously due to the strongly coupling characteristic of the velocity planning and the power distribution. To address this issue, a flexible predictive power-split control strategy based on IVHS is proposed for electric vehicles(EVs) equipped with battery-supercapacitor system(BSS). Unlike hierarchical strategies to plan vehicle velocity and distribute output power separately, a monolayer model predictive control(MPC) method is employed to optimize them online at the same time. Firstly, a flexible velocity planning strategy is designed based on the signal phase and time(SPAT) information received from IVHS and then the Pontryagin’s minimum principle(PMP) is adopted to formulate the optimal control problem of the BSS. Then, the flexible velocity planning strategy and the optimal control problem of BSS are embedded into an MPC framework, which is online solved using the shooting method in a fashion of receding horizon. Simulation results verify that the proposed strategy achieves a superior performance compared with the hierarchical strategy in terms of transportation efficiency, battery capacity loss, energy consumption and computation time.

Entanglement Capacity of Two-Qubit Unitary Operator with the Help of Auxiliary System

The＇entanglement capacity of general two-qubit unitary operators is studied when auxiliary systems are allowed, and the analytical results based on linear entropy when input states are disentangled are given. From the results the condition for perfect entangler, α1 = α2 = π/4, is obtained. Contrary to the case without auxiliary system, the parameter α3 may play active role to the entanglement capacity when auxiliary systems are allowed.

The rigid-plastic analysis of mental forming simulation is formulated as a discrete nonlinear mathematical programming problem with equality and inequality constraints by means of the finite element technique. An iteration algorithm is used to solve this formulation, which distinguishes the integration points of the rigid zones and the plastic zones and solves a series of the quadratic programming to overcome the difficulties caused by the nonsmoothness and the nonlinearity of the objective function. This method has been used to carry out the rigid-plastic FEM analysis. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.

CCR7/p-ERK1/2/VEGF signaling promotes retinal neovascularization in a mouse model of oxygen-induced retinopathy

AIM： To investigate the role of CCR7/p-ERKI/2/VEGF signaling in the mouse model of oxygen-induced retinopathy （OIR）. METHODS： Neonatal C57BL/6J mice were evenly randomized into four groups： normoxia, OIR, OIR control （treated with scramble siRNA）, and OIR treated （treated with CCR7 siRNA）. Normoxia group was not specially handled. Postnatal day 7 （P7） mice in the OIR group were exposed to 75%±5% oxygen for 5d （P7-P12） and then maintained under normoxic conditions for 5d （P12-P17）. Mice in the OIR control and OIR treated groups were given injections of scramble or CCR7 siRNA plasmid on P12 before returning to normoxic conditions for 5d （P12-P17）. Retina samples were collected from all mice on P17, stained with adenosine diphosphatase （ADPase）, and retinal neovascularization （RNV） was assessed. Retinas were also stained with hematoxylin and eosin （H＆E） for RNV quantitation. The distribution and expression of CCR7, p-ERKI/2 and vas- cular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） were assessed via immunohistochemistry, Western blot, and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction （qRT-PCR）. RESULTS： High oxygen promoted retinal neovascularization （P〈0.05） and increased the number of endothelial nuclei in new vessels extending from the retina to the vitreous body; CCR7 promoted this process （P〈0.05）. CCR7 and VEGF mRNA were expressed at higher levels in the OIR and OIR control groups than in the normoxia and OIR treated groups. CCR7, p-ERK1/2, and VEGF protein were expressed in the retinas of mice in the OIR and OIR control groups. Intravitreal injection of CCR7 siRNA significantly reduced CCR7, p-ERKI/2, and VEGF expression in the OIR mouse model （all P〈0.05）. CCR7 significantly enhancedthe neovascularization and non-perfusion areas in the OIR group （P〈0,05）, CCR7 siRNA significantly reduced levels of p-ERK1/2 and VEGF as compared to OIR controls （P〈0.05）.
