Online Advertising and Customer Satisfaction of E-Tailing Firms in nigeria

This study examined the Impact of Online Advertising on Customers Satisfaction of E-tailing Firms in nigeria. A survey research design was adopted. The source of data used in this study was mainly primary data from the issuance of questionnaire and secondary data from the review of relevant literature bothering on both variables which formed the basis for the argument. Out of a total of three hundred and eighty four (384) copies of questionnaire distributed, two hundred and eighty five (285) copies was used for analysis and analyzed using Spearman’s rank Order Correlation Coefficient with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings of the study reveal amongst others that there is a positive and strong relationship between online advertising and customers’ satisfaction;and online advertising significantly affects customer satisfaction. The study concludes that online advertising influenced satisfaction of the customers to a strong extent. However, online advertising is a key determinant of customer satisfaction as it is considered as a point of interaction between customers and the company from which they buy their products. A heuristic model was proposed to show our contribution to knowledge that the relationship between e-mail marketing and measures of customer satisfaction is very strong and is moderate on all other tested hypotheses. And the study recommends that advertising managers of e-tailing firms must develop and formulate e-mail marketing programs that will satisfy the needs of consumers and advert should be placed on stations and places where consumers can easily identify with them and make a purchase. Suggestions for further studies were outlined.

Petrographic characteristics coals, Mahanadi Gondwana and paleomires of Mand-Raigarh Basin, Chhattisgarh, India

Mand-Raigarh coalfield is one of the largest coalfields in the Mahanadi basin. The Geological Survey of India carried out initial study primarily on exploration. However, detailed petrographic and geochemical characters of the coals have not been done so far. This investigation is an attempt for petrographic and geochemical appraisal of the coals. Moreover, effort is also made for possible interpretation on development of coal facies. The results drawn from 30 composite coal samples suggest coals are rich in vitrinite, with collotelinite as the dominant maceral while liptinite macerals register low concentration. Dominant mineral assemblages found were clay minerals, pyrite was recorded as disseminated, framboidal and euhedral forms, carbonates recorded were mainly siderites. The vitrinite reflectance random （VRo） mean values range from 0.44 % to 0.56 %, and the rank of coal is suggested as high volatile ＇B＇ to ＇A＇ sub- bituminous in.rank. The rock-eval pyrolysis reveal TOC content varying from 37 % to 68.83 %, while low hydrocarbon generating potential is evident from low $2 and Tmax values. The Hydrogen Index （HI） versus Oxygen Index （OI） plot reveal that the samples belong to Kerogen type--II-III with input dominantly from terrestrial source, some samples also fall in Kerogen type--II domain indicating lacustrine input. Vitrinite reflectance result indicate that the samples are immature and approaching oil window, which is in agreement with data of the Rock-Eval parameters. The gelification index （GI） and tissue preservation index （TPI） indicate that the coal developed in a telematic set up with high tree density. The ground water index （GWI） and vegetation index （VI） demonstrate that the peat developed as an ombrogenous bog.

Further it is shown that in a con-s-k-EPr matrix, every secondary sub matrix of rank “r” is con-s-k-EPr. We have also discussed the way of expressing a matrix of rank r as a product of con-s-k-EPr matrices. necessary and sufficient conditions for products of con-s-k-EPr partitioned matrices to be con-s-k-EPr are given.

BACKGROUnD The high prevalence and persistence of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection, as well as the diversity of pathologies related to it, suggest that the virulence factors used by this microorganism are varied. Moreover, as its proteome contains 340hypothetical proteins, it is important to investigate them to completely understand the mechanisms of its virulence and survival. We have previously reported that the hypothetical protein HP0953 is overexpressed during the first hours of adhesion to inert surfaces, under stress conditions, suggesting its role in the environmental survival of this bacterium and perhaps as a virulence *** To investigate the expression and localization of HP0953 during adhesion to an inert surface and against gastric(AGS) *** Expression analysis was performed for HP0953 during H. pylori adhesion. HP0953 expression at 0,3, 12, 24, and 48 h was evaluated and compared using the Kruskal-Wallis equality-of-populations rank test. Recombinant protein was produced and used to obtain polyclonal antibodies for immunolocalization. Immunogold technique was performed on bacterial sections during adherence to inert surfaces and AGS cells, which was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy. HP0953 protein sequence was analyzed to predict the presence of a signal peptide and transmembrane helices, both provided by the ExPASy platform, and using the GLYCOPP platform for glycosylation sites. Different programs, via, I-TASSER, RaptorX, and HHalign-Kbest, were used to perform three-dimensional *** HP0953 exhibited its maximum expression at 12 h of infection in gastric epithelium *** technique revealed HP0953 localization in the cytoplasm and accumulation in some peripheral areas of the bacterial body, with greater expression when it is close to AGS *** analysis revealed the presence of a signal peptide that interacts with the transmembrane region and then allows the release of the protein

Evaluating the potential of(epi)genotype‑by‑low pass nanopore sequencing in dairy cattle:a study on direct genomic value and methylation analysis

Background Genotype-by-sequencing has been proposed as an alternative to SnP genotyping arrays in genomic selection to obtain a high density of markers along the *** requires a low sequencing depth to be cost effective,which may increase the error at the genotype *** generation nanopore sequencing technology offers low cost sequencing and the possibility to detect genome methylation,which provides added value to *** aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of genotype-by-low pass nanopore sequencing for estimating the direct genomic value in dairy cattle,and the possibility to obtain methylation marks *** Latest nanopore chemistry(LSK14 and Q20)achieved a modal base calling accuracy of 99.55%,whereas previous kit(LSK109)achieved slightly lower accuracy(99.1%).The direct genomic value accuracy from genotype-by-low pass sequencing ranged between 0.79 and 0.99,depending on the trait(milk,fat or protein yield),with a sequencing depth as low as 2×and using the latest chemistry(LSK114).Lower sequencing depth led to biased estimates,yet with high rank *** LSK109 and Q20 achieved lower accuracies(0.57-0.93).More than one million high reliable methylated sites were obtained,even at low sequencing depth,located mainly in distal intergenic(87%)and promoter(5%)*** This study showed that the latest nanopore technology in useful in a LowPass sequencing framework to estimate direct genomic values with high *** may provide advantages in populations with no available SnP chip,or when a large density of markers with a wide range of allele frequencies is *** addition,low pass sequencing provided nucleotide methylation status of>1 million nucleotides at≥10×,which is an added value for epigenetic studies.

The Role of Community-Based Ecotourism in Biodiversity Conservation in the Mount Oku Area, Cameroon

Forests are biodiversity hotspots which provide livelihood and act as safety nets for adjacent communities. Increasing dependence on forest is threatening this biodiversity. Ecotourism, a biodiversity conservation strategy has the potential to restore degraded habitat, and create socio-cultural and economic benefits that improve communities’ livelihoods. This study focused on the role of community-based ecotourism in biodiversity conservation in the Mount Oku forest, of the north West region of Cameroon. The study identified and ranked livelihood activities that led to biodiversity destruction, assessed ecotourism potentials and conservation practices, identified ecotourism benefits and assessed household income levels before and after the institution of ecotourism. We randomly selected three communities from the study area. The study was guided by the Forest Management Plan, the Simple Management Plan of the Kilum/Ijim forest project and the concept of Biosphere Reservation. Descriptive statistics were simple percentages presented on tables, while the inferential statistics of Wilcoxon.rank test was used to analyze the data collected for the study. Our findings reveal that, the livelihood activities that led to biodiversity destruction include agriculture, logging, fuelwood collection and grazing. Ecotourism potentials/conservation strategies were nature-based, education-based, culture-based, and agriculture-based;value chain was integrated in all these aspects which enhanced livelihood diversification. The benefits include business opportunities, infrastructure development, and forest regeneration. Income level generated after the institution of ecotourism was higher than the level of income before (Z = -1442, p = 0.001). Clear indicators need to be established to measure long-term project effectiveness in biodiversity conservation and livelihood sustainability.

Micropeltidaceae species are flyspeck fungi which have been subjected to few systematic *** re-examined 27 genera which were accepted in the Micropeltidaceae and re-described them based on herbaria materials and *** on morphology and phylogenetic investigations,we transfer Micropeltidaceae to a new order,Micropeltidales(Lecanoromycetes).Genera with bluish or greenish upper walls(Dictyopeltella,Dictyothyriella,Dictyothyrina,Dictyothyrium,Haplopeltheca,Micropeltis,Scolecopeltidium and Stomiopeltopsis)are accepted in the new taxonomic concept for Micropeltidaceae.A molecular clock approach estimated the divergence time of the Micropeltidaceae crown group at 130(165–104)Mya,which also supports its rank as an order(diverging from 220–100 Mya).The evolutionary histories between Micropeltidaceae species and host plants are interpreted by cophylogenetic analyses calibrated by their divergence *** result indicates that the diversification of Angiospermae(130–80 Mya)fosters the formation of genera of Micropeltidaceae mainly via cospeciation events,and this codivergent period would be an important reference when establishing generic boundaries of epifoliar fungi.

Blue mode does not offer any benefit over white light when calculating Lewis score in small-bowel capsule endoscopy

AIM: To check the usefulness of blue mode (BM) review in lewis score (LS) calculation, by comparing it with respective LS results obtained by white light (WL) small-bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) review and mucosal inflammation as reflected by faecal calprotectin (FC) levels, considered as ‘gold standard’ for this study. METHODS: Computational analysis of our SBCE database to identify patients who underwent SBCE with PillCam? and had FC measured within a 30-day period from their test. Only patients with prior colonoscopy were included, to exclude any colon pathology-associated FC rise. Each small bowel tertile was reviewed (viewing speed 8 fps) with WL and BM, in a back-to-back mode, by a single experienced reviewer. LS were calculated after each WL and BM reviews. Pearson.rank correlation (rho, r) statistic was applied. RESULTS: Twenty-seven (n = 27, 20F/7M) patients were included. Thirteen (n = 13) had SBCE with PillCam?SB1, and the remainder (n = 14) with PillCam?SB2. The median level of FC in this cohort was 125 μg/g. LS (calculated in WL SBCE review) correlation with FC levels was r = 0.490 (P = 0.01), while for BM review and LS correlation with FC was r = 0.472 (P = 0.013). COnCLUSIOn: Although BM is believed to enhance mucosal details i.e., small mucosal breaks, it did not perform better than WL in the calculation of LS in our cohort.
