This study divulges biochemical traits,mineral makeup,and the secondary metabolite outline of the less explored Ochrophyte,Iyengaria stellata(Børgesen)using untargeted metabolite profiling along the Pingleshwar coast,Kachchh,*** mineral Na(4921.33±0.577 mg/100 g Dry Weight)and micro mineral Fe(859.76±0.98 mg/100 g DW)were found to be in the highest quantities.A total of 108 putative metabolites were detected using both,the positive electrospray ionization mode(+ESI)and negative electrospray ionization mode(-ESI of the Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry-Time of Flight(LCMS-TOF).The identified metabolites included steroids,terpenoids,ketones,esters,polyphenols,anthraquinones,tocopherol,*** metabolomics data obtained from the+ESI mode led to the inference of a putative glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway that shall provide valuable insights for future metabolic engineering *** study highlights the first attempt to decipher the secondary metabolite composition of *** thereby further accounting for its potential as a natural source in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical compositions.

We have recently developed a narrow band imager（NBI） using an air gap based Fabry-P′erot（FP） interferometer at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. Narrow band imaging is achieved by using an FP interferometer working in combination with an order sorting pre-filter. The NBI can be tuned to a different wavelength position on the line profile by changing the plate separation of the FP. The interferometer has a 50 mm clear aperture with a bandpass of ～247.8 m ？A and a free spectral range of～5.3 ？A at λ = 656.3 nm. The developed NBI is used to observe the solar filament in the Hα *** instrument is being used to image the Sun at chromospheric height and it is also able to scan the Hα spectral line profile at different wavelength positions. We have also made Doppler velocity maps at chromospheric height by taking the blue and red wing images at ±176 m ？A wavelength positions separately away from the line center of the spectral line. In this paper, we present a description of the NBI including lab test results of individual components and some initial observations carried out with this instrument.

Electrodeposition in electrochemical cells is one of the leading causes of its performance deterioration. The prediction of electrodeposition growth demands a good understanding of the complex physics involved, which can lead to the fabrication of a probabilistic mathematical model. As an alternative, a convolutional Long shortterm memory architecture-based image analysis approach is presented herein. This technique can predict the electrodeposition growth of the electrolytes, without prior detailed knowledge of the system. The captured images of the electrodeposition from the experiments are used to train and test the model. A comparison between the expected output image and predicted image on a pixel level, percentage mean squared error, absolute percentage error, and pattern density of the electrodeposit are investigated to assess the model accuracy. The randomness of the electrodeposition growth is outlined by investigating the fractal dimension and the interfacial length of the electrodeposits. The trained model predictions show a significant promise between all the experimentally obtained relevant parameters with the predicted one. It is expected that this deep learning-based approach for predicting random electrodeposition growth will be of immense help for designing and optimizing the relevant experimental scheme in near future without performing multiple experiments.

We studied the effect of the simultaneous treatment withα-tocopherol(100 mg / kg;im) and nickel sulfate (20 mg/kg,ip) on nickel-induced changes in serum lipid ***-treated rats showed a significant increase in serum LDL cholesterol,total cholesterol,triglycerides,and a significant decrease in serum HDL cholesterol. Simultaneous administration ofα-tocopherol with nickel sulfate improved LDL-cholesterol and HDLcholesterol level when compared with rats receiving nickel sulfate *** results indicate thatα-tocopherol is beneficial in preventing nickel-induced lipid profile alterations.

Objective: To evaluate the antiplasmodial activity of aqueous-methanolic plant extracts of nine plant species selected, based on ethnobotanical data. Methods: Based on ethnobotanical database, the selected plants were tested for their antiplasmodial activity against chloroquinesensitive(3 D7) strain of Plasmodium falciparum. Qualitative tests and high performance thin layer chromatography analysis were carried out to explore the phytocomponents present in the plant extracts. 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl antioxidant activity was also determined to check the antioxidant activity of the plant extracts. Results: Moringa oleifera(IC_(50): 3.906 μg/mL),Acalypha indica(IC_(50): 3.906 μg/mL), Hyptis suaveolens(IC_(50): 3.906 μg/mL), Mangifera indica(IC_(50): 4.150 μg/mL) and Averrhoa bilimbi(IC_(50): 4.881 μg/mL) showed very good antiplasmodial activity. Conclusions: Crude extracts of Mangifera indica and Hyptis suaveolens demonstrated the most efficacious antimalarial activity. A bioassay-guided fractionation of these extracts to identify the lead compound is proved to be useful. The results validate the traditional use of the selected plants as antimalarials.
