Effects of temperature and light on seed germination of ephemeral plants in the Gurbantunggut Desert, China: implications for vegetation restoration

Seed germination is a key transitional stage in plant life cycle and is strongly regulated by temperature and ***, research on the effects of temperature and light on seed germination is extremely meaningful for vegetation restoration, especially in desert *** of 28 ephemeral plants collected from the Gurbantunggut Desert of China were incubated at different temperatures(5℃/1℃, 15℃/5℃, 20℃/5℃, 25℃/10℃ and 30℃/15℃) in 12-h light/12-h darkness or continuous darkness regimes, and the responses of seed germination to temperature and light and the germination speed were studied in *** showed that seed germination percentage of the 28 ephemeral plants significantly differed to temperature and *** classified the studied plants as the following groups based on their responses to temperature: 1 low temperature responsed plants, 12 moderate temperature responsed plants, 7 high temperature responsed plants, 4 non-responsed plants and 5 plants of no *** should be noted that Corispermum lehmannianum Bunge is sensitive to both moderate and high *** were 4 groups of plant in response to light, i.e., 7 light responsed plants, 10 dark responsed plants, 6 light non-responsed plants and 5 plants of no *** on seed germination speed of the 28 ephemeral plants, we divided them into 4 patterns of germination, i.e., very rapid, moderately rapid, moderate and *** variations of temperature, precipitation and sand dune types in the study area, we suggested that very rapid and moderately rapid germinated plants could be used to moving sand dunes in early spring during vegetation restoration, moderate germinated plants could be used to semi-fixed sand dunes in late autumn, and slow germinated plants could be used to sand plain in ***, seedling establishment and vegetation restoration would be improved by considering seed germination characteristics of these ephemeral plants in the Gurbantunggut Des

BACKGROUND： Post-stroke fatigue has received much attention recently. Three evaluation scales are available, including the Fatigue Impact Scale （FIS）. Yet none of these has been proven to be of use in the evaluation of psychological quality after post-stroke fatigue. OBJECTIVE： To introduce FIS into China, and to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Chinese Version in patients with cerebral infarction. DESIGN： Scale evaluation. SETTING： Department of Rehabilitation, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University. PARTICIPANTS： A total of 330 patients with cerebral infarction were selected from the Department of Neurology, Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University from June 2005 to December 2006. All patients met diagnostic standards from the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Academic Meeting of China Medical Association and were diagnosed with CT or MRI examination. Patients who were not willing to accept scale evaluation were excluded. METHODS： The English version of FIS was translated into Chinese and subsequently translated back to English again. FIS was given to the discharged patients, and they returned them upon completion. In-patients completed and immediately returned the FIS. Validity and reliability of the retrieved scales were ascertained with descriptive and inference analysis. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Total scores and subscale scores of FIS. RESULTS： Out of 330 questionnaires, 214 valid questionnaires were deemed valid in total. Six components were extracted in factor analysis, and the total cumulative contribution was 73.919%, which suggested the questionnaire was valid. After correlation analysis, 6 components were divided into 3 subscales, including cognitive, physical, and social, which was the same as the English version. The Cronbach α value for the three subscales was 0.937 7, 0.918 8, and 0.940 6, respectively （〉 0.7）. CONCLUSION： The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of FIS met with

As a direct consequence of the orbital height, the integration time in geosynchronous synthetic aperture radar(GEO SAR) with metric or decimetric azimuth resolutions is in the order of several hundreds or even thousands of seconds. With such long integration time, the compensation of residual tropospheric propagation terms poses one of the fundamental challenges associated with GEO SAR missions. In order to better characterise the impact of the propagation errors on GEO SAR imaging, we put forward a model for the simulation of the tropospheric delay appropriate for the accurate simulation of GEO SAR surveys. The suggested model, with a deterministic background component and a random turbulent one, incorporates some of the most recent meteorological data for the characterization of the troposphere. To illustrate the relevance of the derivation, the suggested model is used for performance estimation and raw data simulation of GEO SAR raw data. Substantial conclusion on the system impulse response and the associated calibration requirements is also drawn from the analysis.

Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus(SFTSV)is a highly pathogenic tick-borne bunyavirus that causes lethal infectious disease and severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS)in *** molecular mechanisms and host cellular factors required for SFTSV infection remain *** a genome-wide CRISPR-based screening strategy,we identified a host cellular protein,sorting nexin 11(SNX11)which is involved in the intracellular endosomal trafficking pathway,as an essential cell factor for SFTSV *** SNX11-KO HeLa cell line was established,and SFTSV replication was significantly *** glycoproteins of SFTSV were detected and remained in later endosomal compartments but were not detectable in the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)or Golgi *** values in the endosomal compartments of the SNX11-KO cells increased compared with the pH of normal HeLa cells,and lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1(LAMP1)expression was significantly elevated in the SNX11-KO ***,these results indicated that penetration of SFTSV from the endolysosomes into the cytoplasm of host cells was blocked in the cells lacking *** study for the first time provides insight into the important role of the SNX11 as an essential host factor in the intracellular trafficking and penetrating process of SFTSV infection via potential regulation of viral protein sorting,membrane fusion,and other endocytic machinery.

Due to the special condition of provenance and disaster environment after "5·12" Earthquake, the probability and conditions of the occurrence of gully debris flow change greatly after the event, which make it difficult to prevent disaster effectively. In this study the hydrological model of ground water table in loose sediment is established. According to infinite slope theory, the safety factor of deposits is defined as the ratio of resistance force to driving force. The starting condition of post-earthquake gully debris flow is clearly studied by analyzing the effects of rainfall intensity, seismic strength, slope gradient and mechanical properties on the balance of accumulation body. Then the formulas of rainfall and aftershock threshold for starting of gully debris flow are proposed, and an example is given to illustrate the effect of rainfall, aftershocks and their coupling action on a debris flow. The result shows the critical rainfall intensity decreases as the lateral seismic acceleration and channel gradient increases, while the critical intensity linearly increases as the friction angle increases.

Chongqing Z County E-sports Town was once included in the“first batch of sports and leisure characteristic town pilot project list”issued by the General Administration of Sports of *** several years of development,the e-sports industry in Z County e-sports town has struggled with issues such as a limited market,low popularity,poor business performance,and a lack of income generation *** challenges have severely hindered the town’s development,resulting in its exclusion from the recent“Chongqing characteristic town list.”Under the requirements of new policies,it can no longer promote itself,attract investment,or undertake project construction under the name of a“characteristic town”and must undergo *** paper employs case analysis and comparative investigation methods to conduct an in-depth empirical study on the development of Z County E-sports *** is proposed that under the new policy environment,the town should foster the deep integration of its existing e-sports industry and culture with tourism and agriculture,transforming Z County E-sports Town into a new characteristic tourist *** findings of this paper offer a reference for the development of similar towns facing stagnation and provide case support for the construction of tourist destinations featuring e-sports.

Accurate and seamless auxiliary services in the power market can guarantee smooth and continuous power system operation. China’s new round of power system reform has entered a critical period, and reform implementation requires comprehensive improvements in the maturity of the supporting auxiliary service market. This study reviews the development status and evolution path of the European unified power market and the US regional power market, provides experience for the development of China’s regional power market, then identifies the key influencing factors of auxiliary service trading mechanism design in regional power markets. To analyze the rationality of the auxiliary service trading evaluation index, this paper established an evaluation model for assessing regional power markets. Using combined weight optimization, the gray correlation TOPSIS method was applied to comprehensively evaluate auxiliary service trading in the regional power market. Finally, the application of the proposed evaluation method was briefly analyzed to examine four regional power markets in China and evaluate the effectiveness of current market construction in different regions and provide suggestions for future market construction.
