Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)play an indispensable role in the lives of human beings in the fields of environment monitoring,manufacturing,education,agriculture etc.,However,the batteries in the sensor node under deployment in an unattended or remote area cannot be replaced because of their wireless *** this context,several researchers have contributed diversified number of cluster-based routing schemes that concentrate on the objective of extending node survival ***,there still exists a room for improvement in Cluster Head(CH)selection based on the integration of critical *** meta-heuristic methods that concentrate on guaranteeing both CH selection and data transmission for improving optimal network performance are *** this paper,a hybrid Marine Predators Optimization and Improved Particle Swarm Optimizationbased Optimal Cluster Routing(mpO-IPSO-OCR)is proposed for ensuring both efficient CH selection and data *** robust characteristic of mpOA is used in optimized CH selection,while improved PSO is used for determining the optimized route to ensure sink *** specific,a strategy of position update is included in the improved PSO for enhancing the global searching efficiency of *** high-speed ratio,unit speed rate and low speed rate strategy inherited by mpOA facilitate better exploitation by preventing solution from being struck into local optimality *** simulation investigation and statistical results confirm that the proposed mpOIPSO-OCR is capable of improving the energy stability by 21.28%,prolonging network lifetime by 18.62%and offering maximum throughput by 16.79%when compared to the benchmarked cluster-based routing schemes.

The Luconia Province-offshore Sarawak-is a key geological unit for understanding the distribution of hydrocarbon resources in Malaysia. Nevertheless, little effort has been made to address the palaeoenvironmental characteristics of the Tertiary carbonates in the key sector of Central *** study the sedimentology and petrography of core samples from a well in Central Luconia, for which thirteen microfacies have been identified reflecting different depositional settings. This is the first microfacies scheme elaborated for Luconian carbonates. Lithofacies and microfacies distribution are compatible with deposition in a reef complex, originating around a framework reef, within the euphotic zone. Sediments were deposited in environments of backreef, reef crest, and forereef. The fair weather wave base is marked by the presence of coralline red algae, foraminifera, decreasing degree of bioclast fragmentation and other microfacies features. As a result, a depositional-environmental model is constructed, depicting a reef complex built around a framework reef developed on the margin of an isolated platform. In addition, an innovative, preliminary time series analysis of facies, microfacies and depositional environment data reveal the existence of seasonal cycles in the stacking patterns of facies and microfacies.

INTRODUCTIONInducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) is an enzyme that catalyzes the formation of nitric oxide (NO) from L-arginine. iNOS expression and activity results in the production of high levels of NO[1]. The generation of physiological levels of NO is important for mucosal function and it also exerts a cytoprotective effect on the gastrointestinal mucosa. However, increased iNOS expression has been observed in patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, such as ulcerative colitis[2,3], and gastritis[4] and it has been speculated that increased NO may induce DNA damage[5,6] and angiogenesis[7]. Nonetheless, the role of iNOS in human GI neoplasia is largely unkown. Previous studies have demonstrated increased iNOS expression in breast cancer[8,9], and increased iNOS activity and protein levels have been demonstrated in colorectal cancer[10] and adenocarcinoma of the esophagus[11]. However, to date, the role of iNOS in gastric carcinogenesis has not been elucidated.

Surgical Outcomes Following Partial Breast Reconstruction with Chest Wall Perforator Flaps

Introduction: In the last two decades, chest wall perforator flaps (CWPF) have become a versatile tissue replacement technique for partial breast reconstruction following breast-conserving surgery (BCS) in well-selected cases. We present the surgical outcome of 81 patients with chest wall perforator flaps used for breast-conserving surgery. Methods: We recorded the outcomes of three oncoplastic breast surgeons who performed partial breast reconstruction with chest wall perforator flaps from 1st January 2018 to 30th June 2022 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Data were collected on patient demographics, including age, BMI, smoking status, bra size, previous treatments, type of CWPF procedure, tumor size (measured clinically, via imaging and histologically), biopsy results, specimen weight, margins involvement, re-operation rate, surgical site infection (SSI), flap loss, flap shrinkage, hematoma, and seroma rates. Results: A total of 81 patients were included in this study, with an average age of 55.7 years and a body mass index (BMI) of 26.7 kg/m2. The bra size varied between A to FF with A (7.4%), B (28.3%), C (38.2%), D (13.6%), DD (11.1%), and FF (1.2%). 14.8% of the patients had neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT). For 45 patients, LICAP (lateral intercostal artery perforator), 16 AICAP (anterior intercostal artery perforator), 13 MICAP (medial intercostal artery perforator), and for seven patients, LTAP (lateral thoracic artery perforator) flaps were used. The average tumor was measured at 15.75 mm clinically, 19.1 mm via imaging, and 19.6 mm histologically. Biopsy showed that 16% of the tumors were ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and 84% were invasive. 16% of patients had involved margins, and re-excision was required in 10 patients, and completion mastectomy was performed in 2 patients.
