This study was performed to investigate the changes in microbial communities and metabolites during the long-term fermentation of commercially manufactured anchovy *** of commercial anchovy sauce were collected from large-scale fermentation tanks with fermentation periods of up to 7.87 *** complex bacterial community was simplified to two genera,Tetragenococcus and Halanaerobium,after approximately 0.55 years of *** genera,such as Saccharomyces,Cladosporium,Candida,and Aspergillus,were relatively dominant,no clear pattern was identified in fungal community *** longitudinal metabolite profile demonstrated that approximately half(55.8%)of the metabolites present in anchovy sauce were produced within a year of fermentation due to rapid *** the static microbial community,the contents of several metabolites including amino acids and biogenic amines changed continuously during the long-term fermentation of anchovy *** study provides novel insights into the changes in microbiota and metabolites in fish sauce produced without any starter inoculation.

This study proposed a strategy for effectively diminishing the carrier concentration in Cu_(2)Te by introducing graphene sheets,Based on thermoelectric property measurements and single parabolic band modeling,the incorporated graphene effectively reduced the carrier concentration,not only enhancing the thermoelectric performance of the Cu_(2)Te/graphene composite but also substantially improving its figure of merit up to ~1.47 at 1000 K,which is 268% higher than that of pristine Cu_(2)Te,This study gives an insight into the control of carrier concentration and thermoelectric properties in Cu_(2)Te,and it could be extended to other copper chalcogenides for excellent thermoelectrics.

Doped two-dimensional(2D)materials hold significant promise for advancing many technologies,such as microelectronics,optoelectronics,and energy ***,n-type 2D oxidized Si nanosheets,namely n-type siloxene(n-SX),are employed as Li-ion battery *** thermal evaporation of sodium hypophosphite at 275℃,P atoms are effectively incorporated into siloxene(SX)without compromising its 2D layered morphology and unique Kautsky-type crystal ***,selective nucleophilic substitution occurs,with only Si atoms being replaced by P atoms in the O_(3)≡Si-H *** resulting n-SX possesses two delocalized electrons arising from the presence of two electron donor types:(i)P atoms residing in Si sites and(ii)H *** doping concentrations are varied by controlling the amount of precursors or their mean free *** at 2000 mA g^(-1),the n-SX electrode with the optimized doping concentration(6.7×10^(19) atoms cm^(-3))delivers a capacity of 594 mAh g^(-1) with a 73%capacity retention after 500 *** improvements originate from the enhanced kinetics of charge transport processes,including electronic conduction,charge transfer,and solid-state *** approach proposed herein offers an unprecedented route for engineering SX anodes to boost Li-ion storage.

Rechargeable solid-state Li metal batteries demand ordered flows of Li-ions and electrons in and out of solid structures,with repeated waxing and waning of Ubcc phase near contact interfaces which gives rise to various electro-chemo-mechanical *** have been approaches that adopt three-dimensional(3D)nanoporous architectures consisting of mixed ion-electron conductors(MIECs)to combat these ***,there has remained an issue of LiBcc nucleation at the interfaces between different solid components(e.g.,solid electrolyte/MlEC interface),which could undermine the interfacial bonding,thereby leading to the evolution of mechanical instability and the loss of ionic/electronic *** this regard,the present work shows that the Li-ion and electron insulators(LEIs)that are thermodynamically stable against LiBcc could combat such challenges by blocking transportation of charge carriers on the interfaces,analogous to dielectric layers in *** searched the ab initio database and have identified 48 crystalline compounds to be LEI candidates(46 experimentally reported compounds and 2 hypothetical compounds predicted to be stable)with a band gap greater than 3 eV and vanishing Li *** these compounds,those with good adhesion to solid electrolyte and mixed ion-electron conductor of interest,but are lithiophobic,are expected to be the most *** also extended the search to Na or K metal compatible alkali-ion and electron insulators,and identified some crystalline compounds with a property to resist corresponding alkali-ions and electrons.

Characteristics of carbonatites from the northern part of the Korean Peninsula: A perspective from distribution, geology and geochemistry

The present study introduces the carbonatite in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula for the first *** exploration and development of the phosphorus-bearing carbonate rocks in the area have accumulated new geological data which gave us an opportunity to study origin of the carbonate *** conducted geological survey,geochemical analyses of trace elements and rare earth elements,and carbon and oxygen isotope analyses for the carbonatites from Ssangryong,Pungnyon,Yongyu and Puhung districts of the northern part of the Korean *** research confirms that the phosphorus-bearing carbonate rocks are carbonatite originating from the *** studied carbonatites are distributed at the junctions of ring and linear structures or around their margins and contain a greater amount of REEs,Y,and Sr than carbonate *** carbonatites in Yongyu and Puhung area show evidence that they were formed from mantle plume generated at the lower mantle and display similar fractionation characteristics to carbonatites in Barrado Itapirapua in Brazil and Kalkfeld and Ondurakorume in *** patterns of the carbonatites are typical of carbonatites and the carbon and oxygen isotope analyses demonstrate that the carbonatites were originated from *** carbonatites from the northern part of the Korean Peninsula have a great potential for sources of REE,Y,PGE(platinum group elements),copper,and gold.

Contemporary attackers,mainly motivated by financial gain,consistently devise sophisticated penetration techniques to access important information or *** growing use of Internet of Things(IoT)technology in the contemporary convergence environment to connect to corporate networks and cloud-based applications only worsens this situation,as it facilitates multiple new attack vectors to emerge *** such,existing intrusion detection systems suffer from performance degradation mainly because of insufficient considerations and poorly modeled detection *** address this problem,we designed a blended threat detection approach,considering the possible impact and dimensionality of new attack surfaces due to the aforementioned *** collectively refer to the convergence of different technology sectors as the internet of blended *** proposed approach encompasses an ensemble of heterogeneous probabilistic autoencoders that leverage the corresponding advantages of a convolutional variational autoencoder and long short-term memory variational *** extensive experimental analysis conducted on the TON_IoT dataset demonstrated 96.02%detection ***,performance of the proposed approach was compared with various single model(autoencoder)-based network intrusion detection approaches:autoencoder,variational autoencoder,convolutional variational autoencoder,and long short-term memory variational *** proposed model outperformed all compared models,demonstrating F1-score improvements of 4.99%,2.25%,1.92%,and 3.69%,respectively.

Sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes are promising materials for high-performance safe solid-state *** high ion conductivity,mechanical characteristics,and good processability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes are desirable properties for realizing high-performance safe solid-state batteries by replacing conventional liquid ***,the low chemical and electrochemical stability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes hinder the commercialization of sulfide-based safe solid-state ***,the instability of sulfide-based inorganic solid electrolytes is intensified in the cathode,comprising various *** this study,carbonate-based ionic conductive polymers are introduced to the cathode to protect cathode materials and suppress the reactivity of sulfide *** instruments,including electrochemical spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and scanning electron microscopy,confirm the chemical and electrochemical stability of the polymer electrolytes in contact with sulfide-based inorganic solid ***-based solid-state cells show stable electrochemical performance over 100 cycles when the ionic conductive polymers were applied to the cathode.
