Federated Learning Model for Auto Insurance Rate Setting Based on Tweedie Distribution

In the assessment of car insurance claims,the claim rate for car insurance presents a highly skewed probability distribution,which is typically modeled using Tweedie distribution.The traditional approach to obtaining the Tweedie regression model involves training on a centralized dataset,when the data is provided by multiple parties,training a privacy-preserving Tweedie regression model without exchanging raw data becomes a challenge.To address this issue,this study introduces a novel vertical federated learning-based Tweedie regression algorithm for multi-party auto insurance rate setting in data silos.The algorithm can keep sensitive data locally and uses privacy-preserving techniques to achieve intersection operations between the two parties holding the data.After determining which entities are shared,the participants train the model locally using the shared entity data to obtain the local generalized linear model intermediate parameters.The homomorphic encryption algorithms are introduced to interact with and update the model intermediate parameters to collaboratively complete the joint training of the car insurance rate-setting model.Performance tests on two publicly available datasets show that the proposed federated Tweedie regression algorithm can effectively generate Tweedie regression models that leverage the value of data fromboth partieswithout exchanging data.The assessment results of the scheme approach those of the Tweedie regressionmodel learned fromcentralized data,and outperformthe Tweedie regressionmodel learned independently by a single party.

粉末燃料供应系统是实现粉末冲压发动机流量调节的最关键技术,供应系统的优劣直接影响发动机性能,也是需要解决的主要问题之一。本文运用欧拉连续介质方法对粉末燃料典型流化装置流量调节对流化的影响进行研究,探究流量调节过程中等固气比调节对流化的影响,分析粉末在存储罐、流化区域、出口管路上的分布规律。通过分析等固气比调节的输出粉末质量流量变化规律、粉末分布、罐体气相压降判断粉末流化效果的优劣,进而完成粉末燃料典型流化装置流量调节对流化影响的研究。结果表明,随着输入粉末质量流量的增大,粉末供应到达稳定供应状态的时长逐渐减小;输入粉末平均质量流通量在12732.4~16976.5 kg/(m2·s)的设计工况,到达稳定供应状态需要的时间短,是较为理想的输入粉末质量流量的设计工况;粉末燃料供应系统为欠阻尼系统,供应系统开机后推力增加的过程中,阻尼振荡频率随着输出粉末质量流量的增大而增大;在到达稳定前,流化区域形成的旋流影响范围先增大再变小后保持稳定(或者消失),旋流具有稳定粉末供应的作用。

Dyeing Thermodynamics and Supramolecular Structure of Lac Red on Protein Fibers

The dyeing temperature of natural dye lac red on two kinds of natural protein fibers was studied, and the interaction between dyestuff and fiber was discussed through thermodynamic study and density functional theory (DFT) calculation. The optimum temperature for lac red dyed silk was 60˚C and wool showed a better response at 90˚C. The thermodynamics study revealed good Nernst isotherm and Freundlich adsorption models respectively, and the lac dye adsorption processes were both spontaneous and exothermic. The potential interaction of Laccaic acid A with the external environment by electrostatic potential and atomic charge distribution was first explored. With molecular simulation, Laccaic acid A and glycine composed 8 stable complexes. Then, typical hydrogen bonds, bond length, and binding energy, etc. were analyzed. The results revealed lac red on silk and wool fabric mainly depended on the weak hydrogen bonds and van der Waals force which determined the low dye fastness.

Product Form Solution of a Queuing-Inventory System with Lost Sales and Server Vacation

In this study,the authors consider an M/M/1 queuing system with attached inventory under an(s,S)control policy.The server takes multiple vacations whenever the inventory is depleted.It is assumed that the lead time and the vacation time follow exponential distributions.The authors formulate the model as a quasi-birth-and-dearth(QBD)process and derive the stability condition of the system.Then,the stationary distribution in product form for the joint process of the queue length,the inventory level,and the server’s status is obtained.Furthermore,the conditional distributions of the inventory level when the server is on and operational,and when it is off due to a vacation,are derived.Using the stationary distribution,the authors obtain some performance measures of the system.The authors investigate analytically the effect of the server’s vacation on the performance measures.Finally,several numerical examples are presented to investigate the effects of some parameters on the performance measures,the optimal policy,and the optimal cost.

针对我国纺织品市场“有机”认证产品较少的问题,介绍有机纺织品发展概况,从其3个认证标准,即GOTS标准、OCS标准和中国国家标准GB/T 19630的角度,对比不同标准企业认证数量;分析近年全球有机棉和中国有机棉产量和我国有机纺织品标准认证率不高的原因,提出对策。指出:有机纺织品具有高度可持续性,绿色环保、生态健康;与GOTS标准和OCS标准认证企业数量相比,GB/T 19630国家标准认证企业数量很少;应提高我国有机纺织品标准认证的可操作性,共同推动和引导消费者树立环保和可持续的消费理念。

Research of Dyeing Thermodynamics and Supramolecular Structure of Luteolin on Wool Fabric

Natural dyestuff of luteolin was isolated and used to dye wool fabric in this paper. Ethanol extraction and high-speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) were used to extract and purify the luteolin from the peanut shell, and the structure of the isolated luteolin was characterized with FTIR techniques. The interaction between dyestuff and fiber was preliminarily discussed through thermodynamic study and supramolecular structure simulation to explain the intrinsic reasons why the color fastness was low when luteolin was applied to dyeing wool fabric. The extraction condition and purification parameter were as follows: 65% ethanol, ratio of material to liquid 1:20, 80°C, 3 h, chloroform-methanol-water (4/3/2, V/V), 800 rmp/min, 2.0 Mkpa, 0.5 mL/ min and 280 nm. The results of dyeing thermodynamics showed that the sorption isotherm of luteolin on wool fabric was consistent with Nernst model and similar to the disperse dyestuff. With molecular simulation, luteolin and glycin composed 8 stable complexes whose Laplacian values all were greater than 0, which suggested typical hydrogen bonds existing. The complex with three hydrogen bonds was proved the most stable. Both studies on thermodynamics and supramolecular simulation revealed that luteolin on wool fabric mainly depended on the weak hydrogen bonds interaction that determined the low dyefastness.

Multilayer dielectric grating plays an important role in the laser inertial confinement fusion, which is fabricated by using holographic lithography and ion beam etching. In this paper details the reactive ion beam etching of multilayer dielectric grating with SiO2 as the top layer. The etching of SiO2 was carried out by a radio frequency reactive ion beam etcher with CHF3 chemistry to increase the etch selectivity and get a high fidelity grating pattern transfer from photoresist into SiO2 coating. The photoresist gratings with different profiles as masks were used to create SiO2 corrugations with different profiles separately. The etching results were analyzed in detail, including the facet and redeposition effects. In conclusion, it is essential that the photoresist grating mask should be high and steep enough to get SiO2 grating with vertical profiles. The multilayer dielectric grating with SiO2 as the top layer exhibited an efficiency of about 95% in the - 1 order at TE polarization of 1 064 nm light at Littrow mounting.

The uniformity of ion beam current density profile has been amended by changing the flow of the gas and making a new beam channel. The platform scanned in the horizontal orientation in this experiment, so the horizontal ion beam current distribution had hardly any effect on the etching uniformity and amending the ion beam current density profile in the vertical orientation was sufficient for the purpose of plat etching profile. The ratio of the ion source’s working gas inputs has some effect for the uniformity and a ratio of 6.50sccm: 8.00sccm: 9.60sccm of the three gas inputs flow1: flow2: flow3 will lead to a more uniform profile. According to the horizontal distribution and the original vertical ion beam current density distribution measured by Faraday Cup, a new beam channel was made. The uniformity of ion beam current density profile is enhanced from ±4.31﹪to ±1.96﹪ in this experiment.

Identification of four SNPs and association analysis with meat quality traits in the porcine Pitx2c gene

The association of the porcine Pitx2c gene with meat quality traits was investigated in the present study.A total of eight single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were found.Allele frequencies of four SNPs were further detected in four commercial breeds and eight Chinese indigenous breeds.Single SNP and meat quality associations were analyzed in a Yorkshire×Meishan F 2 population.The SNPs c.474C>T (PT (PA and c.47G>A were significantly associated with drip loss rate (DLR),water holding capacity (WHC) and meat color value (MCV1) consistently (P<0.05).Linkage disequilibrium (LD) analysis revealed that the adjacent SNPs were in LD.Two major haplotypes were identified,and association analysis between haplotype combinations and meat quality indicated that the presence of two copies of haplotype 1-CCGG-may improve meat quality.
