A buffer overflow detection and defense method based on RiSC-V instruction set extension

Buffer overflow poses a serious threat to the memory security of modern operating *** overwrites the con-tents of other memory areas by breaking through the buffer capacity limit,destroys the system execution environ-ment,and provides implementation space for various system attacks such as program control flow *** makes it a wide range of harms.A variety of security technologies have been proposed to deal with system security problems including buffer *** example,No eXecute(NX for short)is a memory management technology commonly used in Harvard *** can refuse the execution of code which residing in a specific memory,and can effectively suppress the abnormal impact of buffer overflow on control ***,in recent years,it has also been used in the field of system security,deriving a series of solutions based on NX technology,such as ExecShield,dep,StackGuard,***,these security solutions often rely too much on the processor archi-tecture so that the protection coverage is insufficient and the accuracy is *** in the emerging system architecture field represented by RiSC-V,there is still a lack of effective solutions for buffer overflow *** the continuous rapid development of the system architecture,it is urgent to develop defense methods that are applicable to different system application environments and oriented to all executable memory spaces to meet the needs of system security ***,we propose BOP,A new system memory security design method based on RiSC-V extended instructions,to build a RiSC-V buffer overflow detection and defense system and deal with the buffer overflow threat in *** to this method,NX technology can be combined with program control flow analysis,and Nx bit mechanism can be used to manage the executability of memory space,so as to achieve a more granular detection and defense of buffer overflow attacks that may occur in RiSC-V system

Normalized glandular dose coefficients for digital breast tomosynthesis using detailed Chinese breast models

The rise in breast cancer diagnoses among Chinese women has necessitated the use of X-ray breast screening,which carries a radiation *** study aimed to provide a dosimetry protocol for the Chinese female population to replace the traditional standard that utilizes simplified breast models,for the accurate estimation of the mean glandular dose of a patient undergoing digital breast tomosynthesis(DBT).The first set of detailed Chinese female breast models and representative breast parameters was *** backscatter radiation and computational efficiency,we improved the combination of these models and the Chinese reference adult female whole-body voxel *** acquisition for four commercial DBT systems that are widely employed in China was simulated using the Monte Carlo method to obtain the normalized glandular dose coefficients of DBT(D_(gN)^(DBT))and the glandular depth dose(D_(g)^(dep)(z))for different breast characteristics and X-ray *** calculated a series of D_(gN)^(DBT) values for breasts with different percentage mass glandularities(5%,25%,50%,75%,and 100%)and compressed breast thicknesses(2,3,4,5,6,and 7 cm)at various tube potentials(25,28,30,32,35,and 49 kV)and target/filter combinations(W/Rh,W/Al,Mo/Mo,Rh/Rh,and Rh/Ag).The parameter dependence of the breast characteristics and beam conditions on D_(gN)^(DBT) in detailed breast models was *** D_(gN)^(DBT) results were 14.6-51.0%lower than those of the traditional dosimetry standard in *** difference in D_(gN)^(DBT) was mainly due to a decrease in the depth of the main energy deposition area caused by the glandular distribution along the depth *** results obtained in this study may be used to improve breast dosimetry in China and provide more detailed information on risk assessment during DBT.

Theoretical probe into universal tetrad effect for complexation discrepancy between lanthanide elements and organophosphoric extractant diethyl phosphoric acid

The deep understanding of 4f-correlated electron motion behavior is experimentally limited due to similar physicochemical properties of rare earth elements(REEs).While the solvent extraction behavior originating from the continuous occupation of 4f electrons along the lanthanide family provides a particular platform to probe the 4f electrons motion behavior and its correlations to their versatile ***,the complexation between REEs and the prototypical extractant of diethyl phosphoric acid(dep)was substantially studied based on quantum mechanical *** results firstly show that the average bond lengths between Ln and six coordinated oxygen atoms are consistent with lanthanide contraction phenomenon,and gadolinium break effect is also obviously ***,the"tetrad effect"is figured out based on the subtle discrepancy of 4f electrons occupation,namely La-Nd,Sm-Eu,Gd-Dy and ***,the main composition is 4f5d6p for La-Nd,while the discrepancy is due to the increasing electrons in the 5d shell,while it is 4f5d for *** Gd-Dy,their 4f orbitals accept little electrons and the donating electrons flow into 6s5d subshells due to the half-filled stability and the enhancement of shielding *** electrons donate into 5d6p subshells due to multiply electrons occupation of 4f orbitals for *** detailed analyses obviously clarify the"tetrad effect"along the lanthanide family due to the different variation of 4f orbital *** is expected that these microscopic understandings provide important guidance for the separation of REEs and the design of new extractants.

Grain size is an important determinant of grain yield in *** dozens of grain size genes have been reported,the molecular mechanisms that control grain size remain to be fully ***,we report the cloning and characterization of GR5(GRAiN ROUND 5),which is allelic to SMOS1/SHB/RLA1/NGR5 and en-codes an AP2 transcription ***5 acts as a transcriptional activator and determines grain size by influencing cell proliferation and *** demonstrated that GR5 physically interacts withfive Gg subunit proteins(RGG1,RGG2,dep1,GS3,and GGC2)and acts downstream of the G protein *** downstream target genes of GR5 in grain development(dep2,dep3,DRW1,and CyCD5;2)were re-vealed and their core T/CGCAC motif identified by yeast one-hybrid,EMSA,and ChiP–PCR *** results revealed that GR5 interacts with Gg subunits and cooperatively determines grain size by regu-lating the expression of downstream target *** provide new insight into the genetic reg-ulatory network of the G protein signaling pathway in the control of grain size and provide a potential target for high-yield rice breeding.

Traffic signal control for urban road networks has been an area of intensive research efforts for several decades,and various algorithms and tools have been developed and implemented to increase the network traffic flow *** the continuous advances in the field of traffic control under saturated conditions,novel and promising developments of simple concepts in this area remains a significant objective,because some proposed approaches that are based on various meta-heuristic optimization algorithms can hardly be used in a real-time *** address this problem,A new method based on feedback gating via online simulation for urban network is exploited to improve mobility and degrade congestion *** a case study,the proposed methodology is applied to the urban network of Nanning,*** results show that the average speed increases accordingly in the network and congestion index decreases significantly.

An alternative method for option pricing with robust control

＜正＞An alternative approach is taken to the problem of option pricing. The problem will be reformulated in terms of the deterministic differential games of the type employed in Robust and Minimax control. The interpretation commonly used in finance is the ito integral. in this paper （only for the European option） , both the standard model and the robust model with the ito integral replaced by the Stratonovich integral yield the price corresponding to a hedging technique. Furthermore,with these methods, it may also be shown that for the robust model with a bounded, stochastic volatility, the Black and Scholes price corresponding to the upper bound for volatility is sufficient to hedge the option, when transaction costs is considered, the option price may be given in a new form.
