Objective: To investigate the prognostic impact of D2-plus lymphadenectomy including the posterior(No. 8 p,No. 12 b/p, No. 13, and No. 14 v), and para-aortic(No. 16 a2, and No. 16 b1) lymph nodes(LNs) in subtotal gastrectomy for advanced gastric antral ***: A total of 203 patients with advanced gastric cancer(GC) located in the antrum, who underwent R0 gastrectomy with D2 or D2-plus lymphadenectomy between January 2003 and December 2011 were *** score matching was used to reduce the strength of the confounding factors to accurately evaluate prognoses. The therapeutic value index(TVI) was calculate to evaluate the survival benefit of dissecting each LN ***: Of 102 patients with D2-plus lymphadenectomy, 21(20.59%) were pathologically identified as having LN metastases beyond the extent of D2 lymphadenectomy. After matching, the overall survival(OS) was significantly better in the D2-plus than the D2 group(P=0.030). In the multivariate survival analysis, D2-plus lymphadenectomy(hazard ratio, 0.516;P=0.006) was confirmed to significantly improve the survival rate. In the logistic regression analysis, p N stage [odds ratio(OR), 2.533;95% confidence interval(95% CI), 1.368-4.691;P=0.003] and extent of LNs metastasis(OR, 5.965;95% CI, 1.335-26.650;P=0.019) were identified as independent risk factors for LN metastases beyond the extent of D2 lymphadenectomy. The TVI of patient with metastasis to LNs station was 7.1(No. 8p), 5.7(No. 12p), 5.1(No. 13), and 7.1(both No. 16a2 and No. 16b1), ***: D2-plus lymphadenectomy may improve the prognoses of some patients with advanced GC located in the antrum, especially for No. 8p, No. 12b, No. 13, and No. 16.

This paper presents a novel 3D measurement method for a light field camera(LFC)in which 3D information of object space is encoded by a microlens array(MLA).The light ray corresponding to each pixel of the LFC is *** the matching points from at least two subviews exhibit sub-pixel accuracy,the 3D coordinates can be calculated optimally by intersecting light rays of these points matched through phase ***,the proposed method obtains high-resolved results that exceed the subview resolution due to the virtual continuous phase search ***,we combine the LFC and coaxial projection to solve the 3D data loss caused by shadowing and occlusion *** results verify the feasibility of the proposed method,and the measurement error is about 30μm in a depth range of 60 mm.

肌肉生长发育是畜禽生产性能的重要指标之一,受多种成肌调节因子的影响。表观遗传修饰是指在没有改变DNA序列的情况下,通过改变染色质结构和DNA甲基化等方式来调控基因表达。在动物体肌肉生长发育过程中,表观遗传修饰起着重要的调控作用。本文首先梳理了畜禽肌肉生长发育的影响因子,随后重点论述了DNA甲基化、组蛋白修饰及非编码RNA这3类表观遗传修饰对畜禽肌肉生长发育的影响,旨在理解畜禽肌肉生长发育的表观遗传调控机制,为进一步指导畜禽肌肉发育调控的生产实践提供理论基础。

K-Domain Splicing Factor OsMADS1 Regulates Open Hull Male Sterility in Rice

We identified the rice floral organ development mutant, termed as open hull and male sterile 1 （ohms1）, from the progeny of the indica restorer line Zhonghui 8015 treated with 60Co γ-ray irradiation. The ohms1 mutant exhibited an open hull and lemma- and palea-like structure conversion between the anthers and stigma, which resulted in the ohms1 mutant spikelet showing‘tridentate lemma＇. The ohms1 mutant was entirely sterile but had 60%-70% fertile pollen. Genetic analysis and gene mapping showed that ohms1 was controlled by a single recessive gene, and the mutant gene was fine-mapped to a 42-kb interval on the short arm of chromosome 3 between markers KY2 and KY29. Sequence analysis of the four open reading frames in this region revealed that the mutant carried a single nucleotide transformation （A to G） at the last base of the fifth intron, which was likely corresponded to ohms1 phynotype, in an MIKC type MADS-box gene OsMADS1 （LOC_Os03g11614）. Enzyme digestion and cDNA sequencing further indicated that the variable splicing was responsible for the deletion of the sixth exon in ohms1, but no structural changes in the MADS domain or amino acid frame shifts appeared. Additionally, real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR analysis showed that the OsMADS1 expression level decreased significantly in the ohms1 mutant. The expression levels of rice flowering factors and floral glume development-related genes also changed significantly. These results demonstrate that OsMADS1 may play an important role in rice floral organ development, particularly in floral glume development and floret primordium differentiation.

Plant phenomics(PP)has been recognized as a bottleneck in studying the interactions of genomics and environment on plants,limiting the progress of smart breeding and precise ***-throughput plant phenotyping is challenging owing to the spatio-temporal dynamics of *** and remote sensing(PRS)techniques are increasingly used for plant phenotyping because of their advantages in multi-dimensional data acquisition and *** progress of PRS applications in PP has been observed over the last two decades and is analyzed here from an interdisciplinary perspective based on 2972 *** progress covers most aspects of PRS application in PP,including patterns of global spatial distribution and temporal dynamics,specific PRS technologies,phenotypic research fields,working environments,species,and ***,we demonstrate how to link PRS to multi-omics studies,including how to achieve multi-dimensional PRS data acquisition and processing,how to systematically integrate all kinds of phenotypic information and derive phenotypic knowledge with biological significance,and how to link PP to multi-omics association ***,we identify three future perspectives for PRS-based PP:(1)strengthening the spatial and temporal consistency of PRS data,(2)exploring novel phenotypic traits,and(3)facilitating multi-omics communication.
