Effectiveness of redcore lotion in patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis: a systematic review and Meta-analysis

OBJECTIVE:To summarize and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Redcore lotion on treating vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC)using a systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled ***:A systematic literature search was performed in five English and three Chinese electronic databases up to October *** controlled trials in the treatment for VVC were included;only studies which compared the effectiveness and safety of Redcore lotion plus miconazole with miconazole alone were *** risk(RR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)were used in the ***:Seven studies involving 768 patients suffering from VVC were identified;468 of the patients were pregnant women(60.9%).Combination group(Redcore lotion plus miconazole)was more effective in redu CIng symptomatic episodes of VVC than miconazole alone,with respect to cure rate(RR,1.31;95%CI,1.09-1.57;P=0.01),fungal culture negative rate(RR,1.21;95%CI,1.04-1.41;P=0.01),and effective rate(RR,1.18;95%CI,1.05-1.35;P=0.01).Subgroup analyses for pregnant women also showed that the combination group had superior outcomes with respect to VVC cure rate(RR,1.48;95%CI,1.16-1.88,P<0.01),fungal culture negative rate(RR,1.26;95%CI;1.09-1.47;P<0.01),and effective rate(RR,1.25;95%CI,1.10-1.42;P<0.01).Additionally,the observed risk of adverse events was lower in the combination medication group(RR,0.30;95%CI,0.14-0.65;P<0.01).CONCLUSIONS:Though overall quality of individual studies was low,Redcore lotion plus miconazole can significantly improve clinical effectiveness and safety compared with miconazole alone.

Path planning of the fruit tree pruning manipulator based on improved RRT-Connect algorithm

Aiming to realize the obstacle avoidance of the fruit tree pruning manipulator in unstructured complex natural environment,an improved bidirectional fast extended random tree(RRT-Connect)algorithm was presented in this *** manipulator and obstacles were properly simplified based on their geometrical characteristics to build collision detection models taking account of the obstacles,ground,and manipulator itself and to carry out the obstacle avoidance path ***-biased strategy and adaptive step size adjustment principle were introduced to accelerate the path search *** pruning optimal strategy and cubic non-uniform B-spline interpolation method were adopted to optimize the path generated by *** simulation path planning experiment was carried out in the simulation system of the fruit tree pruning manipulator and the practical obstacle avoidance path planning experiment was carried out on the real fruit tree pruning manipulator path planning experiment *** results showed that the path planning time and the path length of the improved RRT-Connect algorithm reduced by about 55%and 60%respectively compared with the basic RRT-Connect *** path planning success rate of the improved RRT-Connect algorithm was 100%,and the planned path was smooth,continual and executable,which could effectively guide the manipulator to avoid obstacles and lead the end effector of the manipulator to the goal *** proposed improved algorithm not only has certain application value for obstacle avoidance of the fruit tree pruning manipulator in fruit tree pruning environment,but also has theoretical reference value for path planning of other types of robots.

Effects of sgRNA length and number on gene editing efficiency and predicted mutations generated in rice

CRISPR-Cas9 is a common tool for gene editing, and appropriate sg RNAs are the key factor for successful editing. In this study, the effect of sg RNA length and number on editing efficiency was analyzed in rice using CYP81 A6 as the target gene. A series of CRISPR-Cas9 plant expression vectors containing single sg RNAs with different lengths(17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 nt) or two sg RNAs were constructed and introduced into rice cultivar Zhonghua11 by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Analysis of the editing status of 1283 transgenic rice plants showed that 371 were successfully edited with base *** A or T insertions were the most frequent among the six edited types. The editing efficiency of transgenic rice with two sg RNAs was higher than that with a single sg RNA. Editing efficiency and sg RNA length showed a normal distribution with 20 nt sg RNA(25%) being the most efficient. The editing efficiency decreased slightly with decreases of 1–2 bases(19 nt 20%, 18 nt 21%), but decreased significantly with a decrease of 3 bases(17 nt 4.5%). Editing efficiency was significantly reduced by adding 1 to 3 bases(21 nt 16.8%, 22 nt 13%, 23 nt 13%) to the sg RNA. These results provide data for successful gene editing or rice by CRISPR-Cas9.

The Relevance of Biological and Hydrodynamic Timescale in the Growth of Plankton

The relationship between hydrodynamic mesoscale structures and plankton formation in the wake of an island, as well as its interaction with a coastal upwelling, is investigated. Our focus is on the process by which vortices create localized plankton blooms. A basic three-component model for marine ecology was utilized, as well as a coupled system of kinematic flow that mimicked the mesoscale features underlying the island. We show that the prevalence of localized plankton blooms is produced mostly by the prolonged residence times of nutrients and plankton in the island’s vicinity, as well as the confinement of plankton within vortices.

目的探讨血清肝素辅因子-Ⅱ(HC-Ⅱ)、二肽基肽酶4(DPP4)水平与药物涂层球囊(DCB)扩张术后冠状动脉支架内再狭窄(ISR)的关系。方法选取2021年1月至2023年3月在延安大学附属医院行DCB扩张术的ISR患者158例,收集临床资料,采用酶联免疫吸附试验法检测血清HC-Ⅱ、DPP4水平。以ISR患者DCB扩张术后ISR为因变量,建立多因素非条件Logistic回归模型确定其影响因素;绘制受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线评价血清HC-Ⅱ、DPP4水平对ISR患者DCB扩张术后ISR的预测价值。结果随访1年,158例ISR患者有54例(34.2%)DCB扩张术后发生ISR纳入ISR组,非ISR组104例。多因素非条件Logistic回归模型结果显示,ISR患者DCB扩张术后ISR的独立危险因素为DCB扩张术前管腔狭窄率增加、中性粒细胞与淋巴细胞比值升高、DPP4升高,独立保护因素为HC-Ⅱ升高(均P<0.05)。ROC曲线显示,血清HC-Ⅱ、DPP4水平联合预测ISR患者DCB扩张术后ISR的曲线下面积为0.873,大于血清HC-Ⅱ、DPP4水平单独预测的0.789、0.788(均P<0.05)。结论血清HC-Ⅱ水平降低和DPP4水平升高与DCB扩张术后ISR密切相关,血清HC-Ⅱ、DPP4水平联合预测ISR患者DCB扩张术后冠状动脉ISR的价值较高。

目的:通过Meta分析探讨心脏瓣膜术后发生急性肾损伤(AKI)的危险因素。方法:计算机检索中国知网(CNKI)、万方数据库(WanFang Database)、维普数据库(VIP)、中华医学期刊全文数据库、the Cochrane Library、PubMed等中关于心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI危险因素的研究,检索时限为建库至2024年2月20日。由2名研究员按照标准独立筛选文献、提取相关数据并采用纽卡斯尔⁃渥太华量表(NOS)对纳入研究进行质量评价,采用RevMan 5.3软件进行Meta分析。结果:最终纳入28篇文献,涉及样本量14855例,其中病例组3255例,对照组11600例。Meta分析结果显示,年龄[MD=5.25,95%CI(1.30,9.20),P=0.009]、男性[OR=1.69,95%CI(1.06,2.69),P=0.03]、体质指数(BMI)[MD=0.95,95%CI(0.20,1.71),P=0.01]、左心室射血分数(LVEF)[MD=-3.58,95%CI(-5.54,-1.63),P24 h[OR=6.64,95%CI(1.10,40.00),P=0.04]、术后并发低心排血量综合征[OR=2.92,95%CI(1.35,6.29),P=0.006]均为心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI的危险因素,且使用主动脉内球囊反搏(IABP)[OR=4.33,95%CI(1.12,16.74),P=0.03]是心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI及随访死亡的独立危险因素。而血清清蛋白是心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI的危险因素证据不充分[OR=-0.43,95%CI(-1.08,0.21),P=0.19]。结论:现有证据表明,年龄、男性、BMI、LVEF、基础Scr升高、eGFR24 h、术后并发低心排血在量综合征是心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI的危险因素,且使用IABP可能是心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI及随访死亡的独立危险因素。临床医护人员根据以上危险因素早期识别心脏瓣膜术后发生AKI的高危人群,并采取措施进行预防和治疗,降低术后AKI发生率,改善其预后。

Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal carbide MXene-based materials hold great potentials applied for new electromagnetic wave(EMW)***,the application of MXenes in the field of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA)is limited by the disadvantages of poor impedance matching,single loss mechanism,and easy *** this work,MoO_(3)/TiO_(2)/Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)hybrids were prepared by the annealing-treated Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)MXene and uniform MoO_(3)and TiO_(2)oxides in-situ grew on Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)*** the annealing temperature of 300℃,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)value of MoO_(3)/TiO_(2)/Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)reaches-30.76 dB(2.3 mm)at 10.18 GHz with a significantly broadening effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 8.6 GHz(1.8 mm).The in-situ generated oxides creating numerous defects and heterogeneous interfaces enhance dipolar and interfacial polarizations and optimize the impedance matching of Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x).Considering the excellent overall performance,the MoO_(3)/TiO_(2)/Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x)hybrids can be a promising candidate for EMA.

Existing pressure drilling technologies are based on different principles and display distinct characteristics in terms of control pressure and degree of formation *** the present study,the constant-bottomhole-pressure(CBHP)and controlled-mud-level(CML)dual gradient drilling methods are *** for the equivalent circulating density(ECD)are introduced for both drilling methods,taking into account the control pressure parameters(wellhead back pressure,displacement,mud level,etc.)and the relationship between the equivalent circulating density curve in the wellbore and two different types of pressure profiles in deep-water *** findings suggest that the main pressure control parameter for CBHP drilling is the wellhead back pressure,while for CML dual gradient drilling,it is the mud *** examples are considered(wells S1 and B2).For S1,CML dual gradient drilling only needs to adjust the ECD curve once to drill down to the target layer without *** comparison,CBHP drilling requires multiple adjustments to reach the target well depth avoiding a kick *** well B2,the CBHP method can drill down to the desired zone or even deeper after a single adjustment of the ECD *** contrast,CML dual-gradient drilling requires multiple adjustments to reach the target well depth(otherwise there is a risk of lost circulation).Therefore,CML dual-gradient drilling should be considered as a better choice for well S1,while CBHP drilling is more suitable for well B2.
