Linking 24-h Movement Behavior guidelines to Cognitive Difficulties, Internalizing and Externalizing Problems in Preterm Youth

Background: given the heightened risk of developmental challenges associated with preterm birth, it is crucial to explore interventions that may ameliorate potential adverse outcomes. This study aimed to examine whether meeting the 24-h movement behavior (24-HMB) guidelines, which include recommendations on physical activity (PA), screen time (ST), and sleep (SL), is related to indicators of cognitive difficulties, internalizing problems (e.g., depression and anxiety), and externalizing problems (e.g., difficulties in making friends and a.g.ing) in a sample of preterm youth (children and adolescents born preterm). Methods: In this cross-sectional study, data from 3410 preterm youth (aged 6 to 17 years) were included for data analyses. Multivariable logistic regression was used to investigate associations between meeting the 24-HMB guidelines and the above-mentioned health outcomes, while controlling for sociodemographic and health-related factors. Results: The prevalence of meeting 24-HMB guidelines varied across independent and integrated components of the 24-HMB guidelines. Meeting the ST guideline alone (p grated guidelines (i.e., ST + SL and ST + SL + PA) were associated with fewer cognitive difficulties and reduced internalizing and externalizing problems (p g the SL guideline alone and integrated guidelines (i.e., SL + ST) were associated with lower odds of depression and anxiety (p g independent, and integrated (PA and/or ST) guidelines were associated with less pronounced difficulties in making friends and a.g.ing (p g 24-HMB guidelines in an isolated and integrated manner are linked to better cognitive performance and fewer internalizing and externalizing problems in preterm youth. The aim of this work is to develop a robust control strategy able to drive the attitude of a spacecraft to a reference value,despite the presence of unknown but bounded uncertainties in the system parameters and external *** to the use of an extended observer design,the proposed control law is robust against all the uncertainties that affect the high-frequency gain matrix,which is shown to capture a broad spectrum of modelling issues,some of which are often neglected by traditional *** proposed controller then provides robustness against parametric uncertainties,as moment of inertia estimation,payload deformations,actuator faults and external disturbances,while maintaining its asymptotic properties.

This paper proposes a deep-Q-network(DQN) controller for network selection and adaptive resource allocation in heterogeneous networks, developed on the ground of a Markov decision process(MDP) model of the problem. Network selection is an enabling technology for multi-connectivity, one of the core functionalities of 5g. For this reason, the present work considers a realistic network model that takes into account path-loss models and intra-RAT(radio access technology) interference. Numerical simulations validate the proposed approach and show the improvements achieved in terms of connection acceptance, resource allocation, and load *** particular, the DQN a.g.rithm has been tested against classic reinforcement learning one and other baseline approaches.

The interplay between the gut and liver,the so called“gut-liver axis”(gLA),plays a significant role in health and *** shown in Figure 1,the gLA is regulated by a number of equally relevant interacting factors including gut microbiota,integrity and function of the intestinal wall,antigen trafficking,mucosal innate immune response,and oxidative stress(1,2).In addition to undigested or unabsorbed food and microorganisms,the gut lumen contains also their fermentation/metabolic products,bile,mucus,and epithelial cells spontaneously exfoliated from the gastrointestinal *** latter is composed of various cell types counting immune cells,goblet cells,and enterocytes strongly connected by tight junctions and covered with a mucus layer that acts as a dynamic *** elucidation of a.g.t-vascular barrier(gVB)has revealed this structure to intervene to control gut bacteria and antigen translocation from the gut into the blood stream(3).Interestingly,diseases that are characterized or a.g.avated by impairment of the barrier function(so-called“leaky gut”)and/or particular patterns of the microbiome(e.g.,a lack of balance between Bacteroides and Firmicutes)are not restricted to the intestinal tract and *** relevant examples are represented by diabetes type 1,familial Mediterranean fever,obesity,cardiovascular disease,decreased bone-mass density,autism,dysregulation of immune response and systemic allergic diseases(1).

The high-detection-sensitivity saturated-absorption cavity ring-down(SCAR)technique is extended to Lambdip spectroscopy of rovibrational molecular transitions in the near-infrared ***-comb-referenced sub-Doppler saturation measurements,performed on the acetylene(ν_(1)+ν_(3)+ν_(4)←ν_(4))R(14)e line at6562 cm^(-1),are analyzed by a SCAR global line profile fitting routine,based on a specially developed theoretical *** to a conventional cavity ring-down evaluation,our approach yields dip profiles with a linewidth freed from saturation broadening effects,reduced by 40%,and a signal-to-noise ratio increased by 90%.Ultimately,an overall(statistical and systematic)fractional uncertainty as low as 7×10^(-12)is achieved for the absolute line-center *** the same time,our method is also able to accurately infer the linear(nonsaturated)behavior of the gas absorption,providing Lamb-dip-based line strength measurements with a relative uncertainty of 0.5%.

Nanosphere lithography for optical fiber tip nanoprobes

This paper reports a simple and economical method for the fabrication of nanopatterned optical fiber *** proposed patterning approach relies on the use of the nanosphere lithography of the optical fiber end ***(PS)nanospheres are initially self-assembled in a hexagonal array on the surface of *** created pattern is then transferred onto an optical fiber tip(OFT).The PS monolayer colloidal crystal on the OFT is the basic building block that is used to obtain different periodic structures by applying further treatment to the fiber,such as metal coating,nanosphere size reduction and sphere *** dielectric and metallo-dielectric sphere arrays,metallic nanoisland arrays and hole-patterned metallic films with feature sizes down to the submicron scale are achievable using this ***,the sizes and shapes of these periodic structures can be tailored by altering the fabrication *** results indicate that the proposed self-assembly approach is a valuable route for the development of highly repeatable metallo-dielectric periodic patterns on OFTs with a high degree of order and low fabrication *** method can be easily extended to simultaneously produce multiple fibers,opening a new route to the development of fiber-optic ***,we demonstrate the effective application of the patterned OFTs as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy nanoprobes.

连云港地区属于江苏省水稻区划的典型中熟中粳稻作区。此文主要从气象和土壤角度对该地区水稻生态环境,特别是降水、土壤盐分、土壤养份和质量、重金属污染等情况进行研究和分析,结果表明:(1)水分对水稻生长影响不大。(2)部分地区耕作层盐分较高,不利于水稻的生长和发育。(3)与20年前土壤普查相比,土壤质量发生了较大的变化。(4)土壤砷、镉、铬、铅、汞和铜的单项污染指数P铅(27.89%)>铬(14.54%)>镉(10.39%)>汞(8.52%)>铜(2.59%),土壤主要以砷、铅污染为主。基于此,该地区水稻可进一步细分为四个亚区,这也为沿海稻区及相似地区水稻区划提供参考。

AIM:To investigate the serovirological prevalence and clinical features of hepatitis E virus(HEV) infection in end-stage renal failure patients and in the healthy ***:HEV infection is a viral disease that can cause sporadic and epidemic *** studies unexpectedly showed a high prevalence of HEV antibodies in immunosuppressed subjects,including hemodialysis(HD)patients and patients who had undergone kidney transplant.A cohort/case-control study was carried out from January 2012 to a.g.st 2013 in two hospitals in southern Italy(Foggia and *** Rotondo,Apulia).The seroprevalence of HEV was determined in 801 subjects;231 HD patients,120 renal transplant recipients,and450 health *** HD patients and the recipients of renal transplants were attending the Departments of Nephrology and Dialysis at two hospitals located in Southern Italy,and were included progressively in this *** samples were tested for HEV antibodies(Ig g/Ig M);in the case of positivity they were confirmed by a Western blot assay and were also tested for HEV-RNA,and the HEV genotypes were ***:A total of 30/801(3.7%)patients were positive for anti-HEV Ig(Ig g and/or Ig M)and by Western *** healthy population presented with a prevalence of 2.7%,HD patients had a prevalence of 6.0%,and transplant recipients had a prevalence of 3.3%.The overall combined HEV-positive prevalence in the two groups with chronic renal failure was 5.1%.The rates of exposure to HEV(positivity of HEV-Ig g/M in the early samples)were lower in the healthy controls,but the difference among the three groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Positivity for anti-HEV/Ig M was detected in 4/30(13.33%)anti-HEV Ig positive individuals,in 2/14 HD patients,in1/4 transplant individuals,and in 1/12 of the healthy *** relative risk of being HEV-Ig M-positive was significantly higher among transplant recipients compared to the other two groups(OR=65.4,95%CI:7.
