Objective: To evaluate the antimicrobial and antifungal activities of the aqueous and partitioned extract of sea anemone Anthopleura nigrescens(A. nigrescens).Methods: The sea anemone A. nigrescens was collected, minced, homogenized,lyophilized and then further partitioned with diethyl ether, acetone, ethanol and *** fractions were evaluated for antimicrobial activity against bacterial and fungal ***: Acetone extract was found to produce a pronounced inhibition of 7.0 mm against Proteus vulgaris and diethyl ether extract inhibited Pseudomonas aeruginosa with an inhibition zone of 6.5 mm. In antifungal activity, ethanol extract showed good activity against Botrytis cinerea, Trichoderma harzianum and Rhizopus oryzae compared with other strains. Acetone and ethanol extract of A. nigrescens showed activity against all of pathogens tested. slight activity was observed in the water extract with inhibition zone of 1.5 ***: The present study revealed that sea anemone A. nigrescens may also contain some biologically active agents which have potential activity against pathogenic microorganisms.

The first search for the doubly heavy Ωbc0baryon and a search for the Ξbc0baryon are performed using pp collision data collected via the LHCb experiment from 2016 to 2018 at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 Tev,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 *** baryons are reconstructed via their decays to ∧c+π-andΞc+π-.No significant excess is found for invariant masses between 6700 and 7300 Mev/c2,in a rapidity range from2.0 to 4.5 and a transverse momentum range from 2 to 20 Mev/*** limits are set on the ratio of the Ωbc0andΞbc0production cross-section times the branching fraction to ∧c+π-（Ξc+π-） relative to that of the ∧b0（Ξb0） baryon,for different lifetime hypotheses,at 95% confidence *** upper limits range from 0.5×10-4to 2.5×10-4for theΩbc0→∧c+π-(Ξbc0→∧c+π-) decay,and from 1.4×10-3to 6.9×10-3for the Ωbc0→Ξc+π-(Ξbc0→Ξc+π-) decay,depending on the considered mass and lifetime of the Ωbc0(Ξbc0) baryon.

sugarcane is an important tropical crop, responsible for two thirds of the world sugar production, gaining actually importance as a source of biofuel. Drought tolerance is a very important feature considering the actual climate change scenario throughout the world. This study aimed to determine the genetic diversity between sugarcane varieties with contrasting features under drought. For this purpose, twelve IssR primers were used to characterize nine sugarcane varieties under cultivation in different countries including selected drought resistant material from Northeast Brazil and two varieties from India as contrasting genotypes. 317 scorable bands were generated, among which 301 comprised polymorphic markers, with an average of 25 polymorphic bands per primer. In the generated dendrogram the accessions were placed in clusters, where cluster A included two varieties from India (Co331 and Co419), and B comprised plants eight Brazilian accessions and a ‘Barbado’ variety. Within this clade, drought tolerant and susceptible varieties were clearly separated. The present evaluation revealed important contrasting parental candidates regarding their drought response, very promising for future mapping approaches aiming the identification of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) associated to drought in sugarcane. The selected primers were used for the first time in sugarcane, representing valuable tools for future evaluations, with emphasis to diversity characterization and genetic mapping.

The tangerine pathotype of Alternaria alternata is the aetiological agent of Alternaria brown spot on tangerines. In the state of Paraíba, Brazil, its occurrence on “Dancy” tangerine trees is associated with genetic aspects as well as the influence of environmental conditions on reproduction and dissemination within and between populations. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the diversity of isolates of this pathogen using morphophysiological and molecular markers. For the analysis of mycelial growth and sporulation, 30 isolates from different locations were examined at 24-hour intervals until the seventh day, when the spores were quantified. The 30 isolates were characterised based on molecular markers (IssR) and genetic similarity (Jaccard index). A factor arrangement was used: 30 isolates, four media (ODA, PDA, LEA and v8), three light regimes (continuous dark, alternating light and continuous light) and three temperatures (15°C, 25°C and 35°C), with 12 repetitions. Groups 1, 2 and 3 presented low genetic variability. Group 4 showed high genetic variability of the isolates obtained from the Massaranduba (state of Paraíba-Brazil) producing region and higher mycelial growth and sporulation of A. alternata. The continuous light regime and the temperature 25°C in PDA and v8 media were the ideal conditions for the mycelial growth and sporulation, respectively, of the isolates of A. alternata.

＜正＞To investigate the role of receptor oligomerization on the multiple affinity states of β2-adrenoceptors （β2AR） we used a system consisting of pairs of coexpressed Grinteracting receptors, one of which carrying a tethered Gαs subunit. HEK293 clones coexpressing Flag-tagged β2-AR-Gαs fusion protein plus dopamine D1 receptor （D1R）, or Myc-tagged D1R-Gas fusion proten plus β2AR, were selected. In both clones, adrenergic and dopaminergic agonists induced equal activation of the tethered G,, as determined by enhancement of GTPγs binding and of cholera toxin-catalysed ADP-ribosylation, either in intact membranes or in proteins isolated by affinity agarose beads following digitonin solubilization. The extent of activation induced by a maximal concentration of each individual agonist was identical to that produced by both agonists when jointly added. Concentration-response curves of each agonist in the presence of increasing concentrations of the other, confirmed that there was no additivity in the activation of the tethered Ga by the two receptors. Moreover, the activation induced by both agonists together, was not changed even to the slightest extent upon occupation of the binding site of each individual receptor by a corresponding selective antagonist. Taken collectively, these data indicate that there is mutual exclusivity in the way the pair of receptors functionally activate the same Got subunit, regardless of whether they might or might not be physically associated into a common multimeric complex. Epinephrine competition for the binding sites of the radiolabeled adrenergic inverse agonist [3H]ICI-118,551 displayed strongly biphasic binding isotherms. The proportion of high affinity component was related to the extent of receptor expression and correlated to the degree of constitutive activation. Objective： Describing the characteristics of the MRI （magnetic resonance imaging） of patients with ADD （acquired demyelinating disorder） followed in a specialized pediatric clinic. Methods： Descriptive and retrospective study of the MRIs of a pediatric ADD cohort. The included images were acquired in machines with 1.5 or 3T magnets. Low-quality images were excluded. The radiological characteristics of the lesions were described using the 2010 Revised McDonald Diagnostic Criteria regarding localization, contrast enhancement and optic nerve alterations. Results： Twenty-three patients were included （55% female）. The mean age of the first clinical event was 7.7 years. Most common diagnosis was Clinically Isolated syndrome （35%）, followed by Multiple sclerosis （30%）, Neuromyelitis Optica （17%） and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis （17%）. Mean time elapsed until diagnosis was 1.8 years. Follow-up MRIs of ADEM patients showed complete or partial resolution of lesions; Ms lesions were mostly localized in the brain and four patients had contrast enhancement of lesions in their last available MRI. All NMO （neuromyelitis optica） patients had extensive spinal lesions, and two had optic neuritis. All patients with CIs （clinically isolated syndrome） had focal spinal lesions and evolved with radiologic improvement. Conclusions： ADEM and CIs patients＇ MRIs showed lesion reduction, while Ms and NMO patients developed new lesions during follow-up.
