Breakup reactions of the double borromean nucleus ^(8)He were measured at 82.3 MeV/u on CH2 and C *** coincident detection of two decaying neutrons and the high performance for neutron cross talk rejection are realized in this *** relative energy spectrum for ^(8)He was reconstructed with good *** spectrum exhibits a structure of two resonant peaks,one at an excitation energy of about 3.0 and the other at about 4.14 MeV,*** larger cross section for the first resonance is observed in comparison to the results reported previously.

MINFLUX has achieved extraordinary resolution in superresolution imaging and single fluorophore *** is based on localizing single fluorophores by rapid probing with a patterned beam that features a local intensity *** implementations,however,are complex and expensive and are limited in speed and ***,we show that a combination of an electro-optical modulator with a segmented birefringent element such as a spatial light modulator produces a variable phase plate for which the phase can be scanned on the MHz *** or top-hat phase patterns generate high-contrast compact excitation point-spread functions for MINFLUX localization in the x,y,and z-direction,respectively,which can be scanned across a fluorophore within a microsecond,switched within 60 microseconds and alternated among different excitation *** discuss how to compensate for non-optimal performance of the components and present a robust 3D and multi-color MINFLUX excitation module,which we envision as an integral component of a high-performance and cost-effective open-source MINFLUX.

Beijing is a typical traditional city in China,originating from the uniform and conventional grid plan,but transformed diversely,either on purpose or *** research took the diversification process of grid blocks as an angle to understand the transformation process of Beijing’s urban *** took 194 grid blocks within the 3rd Ring Road of Beijing as research ***,the paper proposed a whole view of Beijing’s grid blocks by 1)visualizing their construction process,2)classifying 5 morphological clusters by 7 indicators(Block size,Block shape regularity,Intensity,Coverage,Network density,Plot shape regularity,standard deviation of plot size),and 3)investigating their ***,the diversification process of grid blocks was clarified from two layers:the block-boundary layer and the inner-space ***,the mechanism of block form diversification was clarified by exploring the connections between elements in each layer,and the influence of urban development on block form *** study re-defined the diversification process in a more quantitative way from both time and spatial *** concluded that the diversification is influenced by changes in urban planning principles and locations,and emerged thorough the long-term transformation and *** interaction between the boundary and the inner space stimulates the *** based on these,it concluded with a discussion of limitations and potentials on grid blocks’construction and renovation.

Laser-in duced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBs),firstly proposed in 1962 as Brech and Cross[I]successfully detected the plasma emission induced by a ruby laser,has attracted more and more attention in both academia and industry due to its unique analytical features such as little or no sample preparation,simultaneous multi-elemental analysis,and remote sensing etc[2-4].Restrained from the highcost and poor reliability of instruments back then,the research popularity of LIBs declined quickly after a few years of initial mania of LIBs *** the 1990s,benefiting from the significant development of the hardware setups including laser,spectrometer,and ICCD,the'LIBs fever,re-emerged with continuous progress achieved in various applications as well as fundamental studies for the past two *** 2004,James D Winefordner,a prestigious an alytical scientist,crowned LIBs as a'future superstar5 for chemical analysis[5],marking the great potential of ***,on the way of fully commercialization and industrialization,LIBs is facing three big challenges:(1)to improve the quantitative analysis performance,particularly the repeatability and reproducibility performance;(2)to reduce the instrumental cost;(3)to improve the long-term stability and robustness for industrial *** finally transform LIBs from'future superstar,to'superstar5,joint effort of worldwide LIBs community is needed[6].

Performance improvement was attained in data reconstructions of 2-dimensional tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy(TDLAs). Multiplicative Algebraic Reconstruction Technique(MART) algorithm was adopted for data reconstruction. The data obtained in an experiment for the measurement of temperature and concentration fields of gas flows were used. The measurement theory is based upon the Beer-Lambert law, and the measurement system consists of a tunable laser, collimators, detectors, and an analyzer. Methane was used as a fuel for combustion with air in the Bunsen-type burner. The data used for the reconstruction are from the optical signals of 8-laser beams passed on a cross-section of the methane flame. The performances of MART algorithm in data reconstruction were validated and compared with those obtained by Algebraic Reconstruction Technique(ART) algorithm.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBs) is an analytical detection technique based on atomic emission spectroscopy to measure the elemental composition. LIBs has been extensively studied and developed due to the non-contact, fast response, high sensitivity, real-time and multi-elemental detection features. The development and applications of LIBs technique in Asia are summarized and discussed in this review paper. The researchers in Asia work on different aspects of the LIBs study in fundamentals, data processing and modeling, applications and instrumentations. According to the current research status, the challenges, opportunities and further development of LIBs technique in Asia are also evaluated to promote LIBs research and its applications.
