The major findings in this report are(ⅰ)development of nanocomposite photocatalyst working through Z-scheme charge transfer pathway across the heterojunction,(ⅱ)utilization of direct sunlight as the photo-source,and(ⅲ)prospect of ligand-hole in photocatalysis through enhanced sub-band gap absorption,The photocatalysts,namely LaNiO_(3),g-C_(3)N_(4) and LaNiO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites were synthesized via facile route and were characterized for their structure,morphology,microstructure,texture,elemental mapping and surface oxidation states by using several physicochemical *** photocatalytic performance of the nanocomposite was tested through the degradation of hazardous azo dye pollutants,namely reactive black 5 and methylene blue as well as the colorless antibiotic-pollutant tetracycline hydrochloride in aqueous solution in presence of natural sunlight with excellent recycling *** 10%LaNiO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposite sample shows the best catalytic activity,degrading respectively 94%,98.6%and 88.1%of reactive black 5,methylene blue and tetracycline hydrochloride in60,180 and 120 *** photocatalytic activity of the nanocomposite phase is several times superior to that of the pure *** improvements of photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3)N_(4) in the nanocomposite have been rationalized through the construction of direct Z-scheme heterojunction and suppression of electron-hole pair recombination *** enhanced photo-absorption of the nanocomposite can possibly be related to sub-bandgap absorption,which is associated to the midgap state originating from ligand-hole formation or defects in the *** photodegradation process is mediated through the formation of super oxide radical(O_(2))and hole(h^(+))as the main responsible species.

Contribution of β-phenethylamine, a component of chocolate and wine, to dopaminergic neurodegeneration: implications for the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease

While the cause of dopaminergic neuronal cell death in Parkinson＇s disease（PD）is not yet understood,many endogenous molecules have been implicated in its pathogenesis.β-phenethylamine（β-PEA）,a component of various food items including chocolate and wine,is an endogenous molecule produced from phenylalanine in the *** has been reported recently that long-term administration ofβ-PEA in rodents causes neurochemical and behavioral alterations similar to that produced by parkinsonian *** toxicity ofβ-PEA has been linked to the production of hydroxyl radical（.OH）and the generation of oxidative stress in dopaminergic areas of the brain,and this may be mediated by inhibition of mitochondrial *** significant observation is that administration ofβ-PEA to rodents reduces striatal dopamine content and induces movement disorders similar to those of parkinsonian ***,no reports are available on the extent of dopaminergic neuronal cell death after administration ofβ-*** on the literature,we set out to establishβ-PEA as an endogenous molecule that potentially contributes to the progressive development of *** sequence of molecular events that could be responsible for dopaminergic neuronal cell death in PD by consumption ofβ-PEA-containing foods is proposed ***,long-term over-consumption of food items containingβ-PEA could be a neurological risk factor having significant pathological consequences.

A Hybrid Web Recommendation System Based on the Improved Association Rule Mining Algorithm

As the growing interest of web recommendation systems those are applied to deliver customized data for their users, we started working on this system. Generally the recommendation systems are divided into two major categories such as collaborative recommendation system and content based recommendation system. In case of collaborative recommendation systems, these try to seek out users who share same tastes that of given user as well as recommends the websites according to the liking given user. Whereas the content based recommendation systems tries to recommend web sites similar to those web sites the user has liked. In the recent research we found that the efficient technique based on association rule mining algorithm is proposed in order to solve the problem of web page recommendation. Major problem of the same is that the web pages are given equal importance. Here the importance of pages changes according to the frequency of visiting the web page as well as amount of time user spends on that page. Also recommendation of newly added web pages or the pages that are not yet visited by users is not included in the recommendation set. To overcome this problem, we have used the web usage log in the adaptive association rule based web mining where the association rules were applied to personalization. This algorithm was purely based on the Apriori data mining algorithm in order to generate the association rules. However this method also suffers from some unavoidable drawbacks. In this paper we are presenting and investigating the new approach based on weighted Association Rule Mining Algorithm and text mining. This is improved algorithm which adds semantic knowledge to the results, has more efficiency and hence gives better quality and performances as compared to existing approaches.

Angioleiomyoma of the hand is a rare differential diagnosis of painful soft tissue nodule in the *** arises from smooth muscle of the blood vessels and the most common symptom is *** with magnetic resonance imaging shows characteristic features like a hypodense peripheral capsule with linear or branching internal hyperdensities on T2-weighted images,and post-contrast diffuse homogenous enhancement with a vessel leading up to the *** examination shows well circumscribed fascicles of mature smooth muscle cells surrounding vascular lumina,lined by normal appearing endothelium without elastic lamina *** cells stain positive for smooth muscle actin,desmin,vimentin,type IV collagen and S100,but stain negative for HMB-45 and *** is amenable for surgical *** report a case of painful subcutaneous nodule of hand,with radiological and histopathological findings suggestive of *** outline the clinical,radiological and histopathological features of this rare diagnosis for painful nodule of extremity.

QoS Based Framework for Effective Web Services in Cloud Computing

Enhancements in technology always follow Consumer requirements. Consumer requires best of service with least possible mismatch and on time. Numerous applications available today are based on Web Services and Cloud Computing. Recently, there exist many Web Services with similar functional characteristics. Choosing “a-right” Service from group of similar Web Service is a complicated task for Service Consumer. In that case, Service Consumer can discover the required Web Service using non functional attributes of the Web Services such as QoS. Proposed layered architecture and Web Service-Cloud, i.e. WS-Cloud computing Framework synthesizes the non functional attributes that includes reliability, availability, response time, latency etc. The Service Consumer is projected to provide the QoS requirements as part of Service discovery query. This framework will discover and filter the Web Services form the cloud and rank them according to Service Consumer preferences to facilitate Service on time.

Effect of Dual Inoculation of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza and <i>Rhizobium</i>on the Chlorophyll, Nitrogen and Phosphorus Contents of Pigeon Pea (<i>Cajanus cajan</i>L.)

The pot experiments were conducted in the Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics of Assam University, Silchar. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of dual inoculation of Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) (Glomus fasciculatum) and Rhizobium on the chlorophyll, nitrogen and phosphorus contents of pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan L.). The results revealed an overall increase in chlorophyll, nitrogen and phosphorus contents in the inoculated plants than uninoculated ones. Maximum chlorophyll contents were recorded in the plants dually inoculated with Glomus fasciculatum and Rhizobium. The combined application of Glomus fasciculatum and Rhizobium also remarkably increased the nitrogen and phosphorus contents of pigeon pea. The dual inoculation with microsymbionts revealed synergistic effect. The results suggest that dual inoculation of Glomus fasciculatum and Rhizobium have the potential to enhance the chlorophyll, nitrogen and phosphorus contents of pigeon pea.

A Real-World Observational Study of Patients with Advanced Melanoma Receiving First-Line Ipilimumab in a Community Practice Setting

Background: Following approval of ipilimumab, this observational cohort study (CA184-332) was initiated to describe patient and disease characteristics, patterns of care, survival, and adverse events (AEs) in advanced melanoma (AM) patients treated with first-line ipilimumab in realworld US community practice. Methods: Adult patients with treatment-naive AM who received ≥1 dose of ipilimumab 3 mg/kg between April 2011 and September 2012 were retrospectively identified at US Oncology sites. Clinical data were abstracted from patient medical records. Results: Median age of the 157 patient cohorts was 66 years (range 21 - 91). 68.2% were male, and 90.5% had a cutaneous primary site. At ipilimumab initiation, 80.9% of patients had an ECOG performance status of 0 or 1;54.1% were stage M1c;34.4% had brain metastases;24.8% had elevated lactate dehydrogenase, and 13.4% were positive for BRAF mutation. All 4 cycles of ipilimumab were completed by 55.8% of patients. At a median follow-up of 8.5 months (range 2.9 - 15.0), median overall survival was 11.5 months (95% CI: 8.9 - 16.6) and 1-year survival was 46.7% (95% CI: 38.1 - 54.9). During ipilimumab treatment, AEs were experienced by 63.7% of patients. The most frequent AEs were gastrointestinal (41.4%;diarrhea in 19.1%) and skin-related (28.0%;rash in 17.8%);17.8% of patients had an AE that led to ipilimumab discontinuation. Conclusions: These real-world results are consistent with those from clinical trials and provide evidence supporting the effectiveness and safety of first-line ipilimumab 3 mg/kg monotherapy in patients with AM treated in a community practice setting.

A Theoretical Study of Tris-(o-benzoquinonediimine)-First-Row Divalent Transition Metal Complexes

The ligand o-phenylenediamine (opda) and its oxidized form, o-benzoquinonediimine (bqdi), act as a fascinating candidate coordinating toward transition metal ions leading to the photochemical hydrogen production in absence of photosensitizers. Herein, we report the systematic study of the interaction between the oxidized form bqdi ligand, tris-(o-benzoquinonediimine) with divalent first-row transition metal series using DFT calculations. The lowest energy structures, bond length, binding energies, frontier molecular orbital analysis, natural bond orbitals, and global reactivity descriptor were calculated using B3LYP/6-311G(d,P) level of theory. The time dependent-DFT at the CAM-B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p) level of theory was applied to determine the electronic structures and the optical spectra. The theoretical binding trend of the divalent first-row transition metal series is decreasing as follows: Cu >Ti > V > Co > Ni > Fe > Cr > Zn >Mn. Among them, the binding potency of iron (II) by the bqdi ligand was not predominantly sturdy as compared to other first-row divalent transition metal ions. The origin of strong coordination with Fe(II) is attributed to its extra capability to induce covalent coordination of bqdi ligands. The complex exhibited two strong peaks at 370 nm and 452 nm, due to the HOMO-3 to LUMO+1 and HOMO-1 to LUMO transitions, respectively. Natural bond orbital analysis showed that the major interaction happens between the N lone pair electrons of the ligand with an anti-bonding orbital of metal ions, in which Ti showed the highest interaction energy than other metal ions. The present systemic DFT study of bqdi ligands with the first-row transition metals strongly encourages the future establishment of photochemical hydrogen production in absence of photosensitizers.
