The property theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has been practiced for thousands of years,playing a pivotal role in the clinical application of TCM. While advancements in energy metabolism,chemical composition analysis, machine learning, ion current modeling, and supercritical fluid technology have provided valuable insight into how aspects of TCM property theory may be measured, these studies only capture specific aspects of TCM property theory in isolation, overlooking the holistic perspective inherent in TCM. To systematically investigate the modern interpretation of the TCM property theory from multidimensional perspectives, we consulted the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 edition) to compile a list of Chinese materia medica(CMM). Then, using the Latin names of each CMM and gut microbiota as keywords, we searched the PubMed database for relevant research on gut microbiota and CMM. The regulatory patterns of different herbs on gut microbiota were then summarized from the perspectives of the four natures, the five flavors and the meridian tropism. In terms of the four natures, we found that warm-natured medicines promoted the colonization of specific beneficial bacteria,while cold-natured medicines boosted populations of some beneficial bacteria while suppressing pathogenic bacteria. Analysis of the five flavors revealed that sweet-flavored and bitter-flavored CMMs positively influenced beneficial bacteria while inhibiting harmful bacteria. CMMs with different meridian tropism exhibited complex modulative patterns on gut microbiota, with Jueyin(Liver) and Taiyin(Lung) meridian CMMs generally exerting a stronger effect. The gut microbiota may be a biological indicator for characterizing the TCM property theory, which not only enhances our understanding of classic TCM theory but also contributes to its scientific advancement and application in healthcare.

Moisture-enabled electricity(Me)is a method of converting the potential energy of water in the external environment into electrical energy through the interaction of functional materials with water molecules and can be directly applied to energy harvesting and signal ***,Me can be unreliable in numerous applications due to its sluggish response to moisture,thus sacrificing the value of fast energy harvesting and highly accurate information ***,by constructing a moisture-electric-moisture-sensitive(Me-MS)heterostructure,we develop an efficient Me generator with ultra-fast electric response to moisture achieved by triggering Grotthuss protons hopping in the sensitized ZnO,which modulates the heterostructure built-in interfacial potential,enables quick response(0.435 s),an unprecedented ultra-fast response rate of 972.4 mV s^(−1),and a durable electrical signal output for 8 h without any *** research provides an efficient way to generate electricity and important insight for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of moisture-generated carrier migration in Me generator,which has a more comprehensive working scene and can serve as a typical model for human health monitoring and smart medical electronics design.

Anaerobic digestion(AD)of waste activated sludge(WAS)is usually limited by the low generation efficiency of ***(Ⅲ)-loaded chitosan composite(CTS-Fe)have been reported to effectively enhanced the digestion of WAS,but its role in promoting anaerobic sludge digestion remains *** present study,the effects of CTS-Fe on the hydrolysis and methanogenesis stages of WAS anaerobic digestion were *** addition of CTSFe increased methane production potential by 8%-23%under the tested conditions with the addition of 5-20 g/L ***,the results demonstrate that the addition of CTS-Fe could effectively promote the hydrolysis of WAS,evidenced by lower protein or polysaccharides concentration,higher soluble organic carbon in rector adding CTS-Fe,as well as the increased activity of extracellular hydrolase with higher CTS-Fe ***,the enrichment of Clostridia abundance(iron-reducing bacteria(IRBs))was observed in CTS-Fe adding reactor(8.9%-13.8%),which was higher than that in the control reactor(7.9%).The observation further suggesting the acceleration of hydrolysis through dissimilatory iron reduction(DIR)process,thus providing abundant substrates for ***,the presence of CTS-Fe was inhibited the acetoclastic and hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis process,which could be ascribed to the Fe(Ⅲ)act as electron acceptor coupled to methane for anaerobic ***,coenzyme F420 activity in the CTS-Fe added reactor was 34.9% lower than in the blank,also abundance of microorganisms involved in hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis was *** from this study could provide theoretical support for the practical applications of CTS-Fe.

BACKGROUND The obesity rate of adolescents is gradually increasing,which seriously affects their mental health,and sleep plays an important role in adolescent *** To investigate the relationship between sleep rhythm and obesity among adolescents and further explores the interactive effect of sleep rhythm and gender on adolescent obesity,providing a theoretical basis for developing interventions for adolescent *** Research data source Tianjin Mental Health Promotion Program for *** April to June 2022,this study selected 14201 students from 13 middle schools in a certain district of Tianjin as the research subject using the convenient cluster sampling *** these students,13374 accepted and completed the survey,with an effective rate of 94.2%.The demographic data and basic information of adolescents,such as height and weight,were collected through a general situation *** sleep rhythm of adolescents was evaluated using the reduced version of the morningness-eveningness *** A total of 13374 participants(6629 females,accounting for 49.56%;the average age is 15.21±1.433 years)were *** them,the survey showed that 2942 adolescent were obesity,accounting for 22%and 2104 adolescent were overweight,accounting for 15.7%.Among them,1692 male adolescents are obese,with an obesity rate of 25.1%,higher than 18.9%of female *** is a statistically significant difference between the three groups(χ2=231.522,Pe obesity group has the smallest age(14.94±1.442 years),and there is a statistical difference in age among the three groups(F=69.996,Pesity rates are higher among individuals who are not-only-child,have residential experience within six months,have family economic poverty,and have evening-type sleep(Pegression analysis shows a correlation between sleep rhythm and adolescent ***-type sleep rhythm can increase the risk of obesity in male adoles

Fast radio bursts(FRBs)are among the most studied radio transients in astrophysics,but their origin and radiation mechanism are still *** is a challenge to search for FRB events in a huge amount of observational data with high speed and high *** the rapid advancement of the FRB research process,FRB searching has changed from archive data mining to either long-term monitoring of the repeating FRBs or all-sky surveys with specialized ***,establishing a highly efficient and high quality FRB search pipeline is the primary task in FRB *** learning techniques provide new ideas for FRB search *** have detected radio bursts from FRB 20201124A in the L-band observational data of the nanshan 26 m radio telescope(NSRT-26m)using the constructed deep learning based search pipeline named dispersed dynamic spectra search(DDSS).Afterwards,we further retrained the deep learning model and applied the DDSS framework to S-band *** this paper,we present the FRB observation system and search pipeline using the S-band *** carried out search experiments,and successfully detected the radio bursts from the magnetar SGR J1935+2145and FRB *** experimental results show that the search pipeline can complete the search efficiently and output the search results with high accuracy.
