Luteolin protects against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury by reducing oxidative stress and apoptosis through the p53 pathway

Objective: Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury(MIRI) is an obstacle to the success of cardiac reperfusion therapy. This study explores whether luteolin can mitigate MIRI by regulating the p53 signaling ***: Model mice were subjected to a temporary surgical ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery, and administered luteolin. The myocardial infarct size, myocardial enzyme levels, and cardiac function were measured. Latent targets and signaling pathways were screened using network pharmacology and molecular docking. Then, proteins related to the p53 signaling pathway, apoptosis and oxidative stress were measured. Hypoxia/reoxygenation(HR)-incubated HL1 cells were used to validate the effects of luteolin in vitro. In addition, a p53 agonist and an inhibitor were used to investigate the ***: Luteolin reduced the myocardial infarcted size and myocardial enzymes, and restored cardiac function in MIRI mice. Network pharmacology identified p53 as a hub target. The bioinformatic analyses showed that luteolin had anti-apoptotic and anti-oxidative properties. Additionally, luteolin halted the activation of p53, and prevented both apoptosis and oxidative stress in myocardial tissue in ***, luteolin inhibited cell apoptosis, JC-1 monomer formation, and reactive oxygen species elevation in HR-incubated HL1 cells in vitro. Objective Radiation treatment enables a better local control and lower radiation-related ***,various dose fraction and total treatment days(TTD) were widely *** study is to investigate the optimal dose-fractionation of intensity-modulated radiotherapy in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).Methods To keep the radiation dose of 70Gy or biological effect dose(BED) of 84Gy with the linear-quadric function,we calculated the tumor,early response(mucosal),late response BED and the tumor log cell kill with different fraction number and/or dose to find out the optimal *** tumor lOg cell kill was calculated by the function:Log10cell-kill=a×BEDtumor/2.303(a=0.35Log/GY),in which BEDwas calculated by the linear-quadric function withα/βratio of *** with 33 fractions,the fraction dose and total radiation dose varied from 2.12-2.30Gy and 70.0-75.9Gy respectively and the tumor,mucosal and late effect BED were 69.6Gy-78.2Gy, 55.5-64.1Gy,and 119.4-129.5Gy respectively and the tumor log10 cell kill was 10.6-11.9. While keeping the physical radiation dose of 70Gy or BED of 84Gy,the fraction dose ranged from 2.20-2.80Gy with 25-35 fractions and TTD was 32-46,the tumor,early and late response BED were 67.5-82.3Gy,53.1-69.8Gy,and 113.5-119.8Gy respectively and the tumor logl0 cell kill was *** the tumor,early,late response BED and tumor cell log10 kill into comprehensive consideration,the regimen with 30 daily IMRT fractions can balance the tumor control and radiation-related toxicity *** every a single delivered day,the tumor BED decreased 1.4%(0.8Gy) and the tumor log10 cell kill did *** the optimal dose-fraction in IMRT of HNSCC is theatrically 30 daily fractions in six *** the tumor BED will decrease as the prolonged overall treatment days.

Objective:Radiation-related heart disease,appearing as a late toxicity following thoracic radiotherapy(RT),is increasingly becoming a concern and should not be disregarded, especially in patients with curable malignancies such as breast cancer and Hodgkin lymphoma. There may be a heterogeneous biological response to radiation among cardiac substructures such as the myocardium,coronary arteries,pericardium,and cardiac conduction *** aim of this study was to quantify the displacement of cardiac substructures,including the anterior myocardial territory(AMT),left ventricle,and coronary arteries,during a normal cardiac cycle. Anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers(AEMWEs)for green hydrogen production have received intensive attention due to their feasibility of using earth-abundant NiFe-based *** introducing a third metal into NiFe-based catalysts to construct asymmetrical M-NiFe units,the d-orbital and electronic structures can be adjusted,which is an important strategy to achieve sufficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance in ***,the ternary NiFeM(M:La,Mo)catalysts featured with distinct M-NiFe units and varying d-orbitals are reported in this *** and theoretical calculation results reveal that the doping of La leads to optimized hybridization between d orbital in NiFeM and 2p in oxygen,resulting in enhanced adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates,and reduced rate-determining step energy barrier,which is responsible for the enhanced OER *** critically,the obtained NiFeLa catalyst only requires 1.58 V to reach 1 A cm^(−2) in an anion exchange membrane electrolyzer and demonstrates excellent long-term stability of up to 600 h.

Objective:Intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) demonstrated its advantages in dose-conformity,local control and normal tissue *** accuracy,as one of prerequisites for these advantages,is highly required throughout the course of *** considerable geometrical variations might occur during 6-7 week-long IMRT,which resulted from many factors such as the volume,position changes of tumor and/or organ at risk(OAR), weight loss of patients,*** purpose of this study was to quantify the volumetric and positional variations of the target volume during IMRT. Material and methods:20 patients(pts) with locally advanced NPC who received concurrent(13pts) or sequential(7pts) chemoradiotherapy were recruited *** patients underwent a planning CT and six repeat CTs(every five fractions) and each repeat CT was registered rigidly to planning CT *** tumor volume(GTV) and elective clinical target volume(CTV) were delineated manually on each axial CT *** of primary tumor and lymph node were expanded with 5mm margin from corresponding GTV with necessary *** volume loss,system and random error,the mean and 3-dimensional vector displacement were calculated and compared statistically. Results:the volume of primary tumor,small(>1cm,≤3cm) and large(>3cm) positive neck lymph nodes decreased with a rate of 2.6%,3.7%,3.9%per treatment *** CTV of primary tumor,lymph node,and elective region decreased 1.5%,2.3%and 0.3%per treatment day *** average displacements of GTVs and CTVs in all directions were des averagely shifted 0.8-1.3mm and 0.6-1.2mm to the medial direction respectively. 大肠癌(colorectal cancer,CRC)是胃肠道常见的恶性肿瘤,占全球男性和女性恶性肿瘤约10%和9.4%,每年因大肠癌死亡的患者可达70万人,每年新增患者数约为140万人,呈逐年增加趋势.血管新生参与多种生理病理过程,是很多疾病(肿瘤、局部缺血、动脉粥样硬化、炎症性疾病等)以及创口愈合、组织再生的重要病理学标志.血管新生在CRC的发生、发展与转移中发挥重要作用.对于促进大肠癌血管新生相关因素的研究有利于寻找或者研发更有效的抑制CRC血管新生的药物,从而达到抗肿瘤的效果.本文就肿瘤相关血管新生、促CRC血管新生因素、结论三个方面进行综述,为我们更好地认识血管新生在CRC发病过程中的作用提供理论依据.

丁虫腈乳油的高效液相色谱分析方法研究

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in China(2022)intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in *** connection with the previous section,this fifth section of the report continues the dissection on the manage-ment of cardiovascular diseases(CVD).Cerebrovascular disease is the leading cause of death and loss of healthy life among Chinese *** on the results of GBD 2019,from 1990 to 2019,the years of life lost due to premature death caused by stroke showed a decreasing trend,while the years lived with disability still increased *** present,national mortal-ity surveillance system can provide national and provincial representative annual death data on cerebrovascular disease,but the national representative data on some other important epidemiological indicators(such as incidence,prevalence,disability rate,and case fatality rate)are scarce in *** the construction of large cohort population and extension of follow-up time,re-search on stroke-related risk factors is increasing,providing a basis for the prevention and control of risk *** to limited large-scale population-based intervention studies,there is a lack of epidemiological evidence to transform into feasible interven-tion strategies and *** recent years,great progress in endovascular treatment for basilar-artery occlusion has been achieved in China,but there is still much room for improvement of guideline-based anticoagulant treatment and lipid-lowering treatment,as well as standardized diagnosis and treatment among patients with ischemic stroke.
