Mitogenome-based phylogeny of mosquitoes(Diptera:Culicidae)

Mosquitoes are of great medical significance as vectors of many deadly *** have been widely used in phylogenetic studies,but mitogenome knowledge within the family Culicidae is limited,and Culicidae phylogeny is far from *** this study,we surveyed the mitogenomes of 149 Culicidae species,including 7 newly sequenced *** analysis of 149 mosquito mitogenomes shows gene composition and order to be identical to that of an ancestral insect,and the AT bias,length variation,and codon usage are all consistent with that of other reported Dipteran *** analyses based on the DNA sequences of the 13 protein-coding genes from the 149 species robustly support the monophyly of the subfamily Anophelinae and the tribes Aedini,Culicini,Mansonini,Sabethini,and *** resolve ambiguous relationships between clades within the subfamily Culicinae,we performed topological tests and show that Aedini is a sister to Culicini and that Uranotaenini is a sister to(Mansonini)+(Toxorhynchitini+Sabethini).In addition,we estimated divergence times using a Bayesian relaxation clock based on the sequence data and 3 fossil calibration *** results show mosquitoes diverged during the Early Jurassic with massive Culicinae radiations during the Cretaceous,coincident with the emergence of angiosperms and the burst of mammals and ***,this study,which uses the largest number of Culicidae mitogenomes sequenced to date,comprehensively reveals the mitogenome characteristics and mitogenome-based phylogeny and divergence times of Culicidae,providing information for further studies on the mitogenome,phylogeny,evolution,and taxonomic revision of Culicidae.

The electrochemical formation of La-Al alloys in LiF-CaF_(2)molten salt on a molybdenum electrode at 1123 K was investigated by electrochemical techniques,such as cyclic voltammetry,square-wave voltammetry and open-circuit *** formation signals of four types of Al-La intermetallic compounds were *** Al-La alloy was obtained through galvanostatic electrolysis at 2.5 A·cm^(-2)for 3 *** phase composition and microstructure of the electrolytic products were analysed by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).XRD results show that the phase compositions of the alloys are Al_(11)La_(3)and Al,and EDS results reveal 26.7 at%La in the alloy.

Formation mechanism and preparation of YAl_(2) intermetallics by electro-deoxidation with different sintering conditions

A study was carried out on the preparation of YAl_(2) intermetallics from mixed oxide precursors using the method of electro-deoxidation.Y2O_(3) and Al_(2)O_(3) mixed in molar proportions of 1:2 were sintered at temperatures ranging from 800 to 12000C for different *** sintered pellet was then electrolyzed in a molten CaCl_(2) at850℃using a graphite anode at a potential of 3.1 *** this work,effects of sintering on the composition and the oxygen content in cathodic products were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and oxygen-nitrogen *** mainly affects the porosity of the pellets,and it is found that porosity decreases gradually with the increase in sintering temperature and the extension of sintering *** sintered at 9000C for 4 h,the oxygen content in the cathodic product decreases to 1.85 wt%,and the efficiency of electro-deoxidation is 94.48%.At the same time,the mechanism of electrolysis was *** results suggest that the formation of YAl_(2) is a multi-step *** the reduction process from mixed oxides Y2O_(3)/Al_(2)O_(3) to YAl_(2) included many intermediate materials,such as YAlO_(3),Y3Al5O12 and YAl3,YAl_(2) intermediate alloy was prepared finally.

Electrode connection optimization for both temperature difference and purification of lanthanum rod during solid-state electrotransport

In order to solve the problem of large temperature difference between the center and ends of the metallic rod in the purification process of solid-state electrotransport(SSE),three types of electrode connections of tantalum and the corresponding rods of metallic lanthanum were designed,the temperature distributions of three kinds of rod were measured,and the influence of temperature difference on the purification effect of solid-state electrotransport was *** results indicate that the maximum temperature difference of the rod will be significantly reduced through decreasing the cross section of electrode connection to make its unit length resistance close to that of rod,or increasing the unit length resistance of the section at both ends of the *** these two measures are adopted at the same time,the effect of decreasing rod temperature difference is the best in the present study,and the maximum temperature difference of the rod can be reduced to 29℃when the maximum temperature of the rod is 820℃.The migration velocity of the impurities at rod ends can be obviously improved after the rod temperature difference is reduced,which enables the purification effect and efficiency of solid-state electrotransport to be greatly raised;it is also found that the major impurities iron in metallic lanthanum migrates more easily than oxygen and carbon during the purification of metal lanthanum with solid-state electrotransport.

This paper is devoted to event-triggered synchronization of delayed memristive neural networks with H∞and passivity *** aim is to guarantee the exponential synchronization and mixed H∞and passivity control for memristive neural networks by using event-triggered ***,a switching system is constructed under the event-triggered control ***,by adopting a piece-wise Lyapunov functional,a sufficient condition is established for the exponential synchronization and mixed H_(∞)and passivity ***,an event-triggered controller design scheme is proposed using matrix decoupling ***,the effectiveness of the designed controller is exemplified by a numerical example.

This paper focuses on the performance of equalizer zero-determinant(ZD)strategies in discounted repeated Stackelberg asymmetric *** the leader-follower adversarial scenario,the strong Stackelberg equilibrium(SSE)deriving from the opponents’best response(BR),is technically the optimal strategy for the ***,computing an SSE strategy may be difficult since it needs to solve a mixed-integer program and has exponential complexity in the number of *** this end,the authors propose an equalizer ZD strategy,which can unilaterally restrict the opponent’s expected *** authors first study the existence of an equalizer ZD strategy with one-to-one situations,and analyze an upper bound of its performance with the baseline SSE *** the authors turn to multi-player models,where there exists one player adopting an equalizer ZD *** authors give bounds of the weighted sum of opponents’s utilities,and compare it with the SSE ***,the authors give simulations on unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)and the moving target defense(MTD)to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Tunable polarization holographic gratings obtained by varying the ratio of intensities of the recording beams

Polarization holography has been extensively applied in many fields, such as optical science, metrology, and biochemistry, due to its property of polarization modulation. However, the modulated polarization state of diffracted light corresponds strictly to that of incident light one by one. Here, a kind of tunable polarization holographic grating has been designed in terms of Jones matrices, and intensity-based polarization manipulation has been realized experimentally. The proposed tunable polarization holographic grating is recorded on an azobenzene liquid-crystalline film by a pair of coherent light beams with orthogonal polarization states and asymmetrically controlled intensities. It is found that the diffracted light can be actively manipulated from linearly to circularly polarized based on the light intensity of the recording holographic field when the polarization state of incident light keeps constant. Our work could enrich the field of light manipulation and holography.

Method for determining the position of landslide slip-surface with a typical inclinometric curves

In the actual monitoring of deep hole displacement,the identification of slip surfaces is primarily based on abrupt changes observed in the inclinometric *** conventional identification methods,inclinometric curves exhibiting indications of sliding can be categorized into three types:B-type,D-type,and *** position of the slip surface is typically determined by identifying the depth corresponding to the point of maximum displacement ***,this method is sensitive to the interval of measurement points and the observation scale of the coordinate axes and suffers from unclear sliding surfaces and uncertain *** on the variation characteristics of these diagonal curves,we classified the landslide into three components:the sliding body,the sliding interval,and the immobile ***,three different generalization models were established to analyze the relationships between the curve form and the slip surface location based on different physical indicators such as displacement rate,relative displacement,and *** results show that the displacement rate curves of an r-type slope exhibit a clustering feature in the sliding interval,and by solving for the depth of discrete points within the step phase,it is possible to determine the location of the slip *** the other hand,D-type slopes have inflection points in the relative displacement curve located at the slip *** acceleration curves of B-type slopes exhibit clustering characteristics during the sliding interval,while the scattered acceleration data demonstrate wandering ***,the slip surface location can be revealed by solving the depth corresponding to the maximum acceleration with cubic spline *** approach proposed in this paper was applied to the monitoring data of a landslide in Yunnan Province,*** results indicate that our approach can accurately identify the slip surface location and enable computability of its po
