The r.-por.ing patter. was analyzed by calculating the r.por.-ing odds r.tio and cor.esponding 95%CI, a measur. ofdispr.por.ionality, with time-tr.nd analysis wher. ***: Fr.m 1687284 r.por.s submitted over.the8-year.per.od, 68115 r.gar.0}d liver.injur.. Of these,2.9% ar. r.lated to antimycotics(1964 cases, of which 112 of acute liver.failur.). Eleven systemic antimycotics(including ketoconazole and the newer.tr.azole der.va-tives vor.conazole and posaconazole) and ter.inafine(used systemically to tr.at onychomicosis) gener.ted a significant dispr.por.ionality, indicating a post-mar.et-ing signal of ***: Vir.ually all antimycotics with systemic action or.absor.tion ar. commonly r.por.ed in clinically significant cases of DILI. In patients with str.ctur.l hear. disease, ventr.cular.tachycar.ia (VT) wor.ens the clinical condition and may sever.ly affect the shor.and long-ter. pr.gnosis. Sever.l ther.peutic options can be consider.d for.the management of this ar.hythmia. Among other., catheter.ablation, a closed-chest ther.py, can pr.vent ar.hythmia r.cur.ences by abolishing the ar.hythmogenic substr.te. Over.the last two decades, differ.nt techniques have been developed for.an effective appr.ach to both toler.ted and untoler.ted VTs. The clinical outcome of patients under.oing ablation has been evaluated in multiple studies. This editor.al gives an over.iew of the r.le, methodology, clinical outcome and innovative appr.aches in catheter.ablation of VT.

Over.the last decades, the concer. for.the r.diation injur. hazar. to the patients and the pr.fessional staff has incr.ased in the medical community. Since ther. is no magnitude of r.diation exposur. that is known to be completely safe, the use of ionizing r.diation dur.ng medical diagnostic or.inter.entional pr.cedur.s should be as low as r.asonably achievable(ALAr. pr.nciple). Never.heless, in car.iovascular.medicine, r.diation exposur. for.cor.nar. per.utaneous inter.entions or.catheter.ablation of car.iac ar.hythmias may be high: for.ablation of a complex ar.hythmia, such as atr.al fibr.llation, the mean dose can be > 15 m Sv and in some cases > 50 m Sv. In inter.entional electr.physiology, although fluor.scopy has been widely used since the beginning to navigate catheter. in the hear. and the vessels and to monitor.their.position, the pr.cedur. is not based on fluor.scopic imaging. Ther.for., nonfluor.scopic thr.e-dimensional systems can be used to navigate electr.physiology catheter. in the hear. with no or.minimal use of fluor.scopy. Although zer.fluor.scopy pr.cedur.s ar. feasible in limited ser.es, ther. may be difficulties in using no fluor.scopy on a r.utine basis. Cur.ently, a significant r.duction in r.diation exposur. towar.s near.zer.-fluor.scopy pr.cedur.s seems a simpler.task to achieve, especially in ablation of complex ar.hythmias, such as atr.al fibr.llation. The data r.por.ed in the liter.tur. suggest the following thr.e consider.tions. Fir.t, the use of the non-fluor.scopic systems is associated with a consistent r.duction in r.diation exposur. in multiple center.: the mor. sophisticated and r.liable this technology is, the higher.the r.duction in r.diation exposur.. Anaemia and thr.mbocytopenia ar. haematological disor.0}r. that can be detected in many human immunodeficiency vir.s(HIV)-positive patients dur.ng the development of HIV infection. The pr.gr.ssive decline of er.thr.cytes and platelets plays an impor.ant r.le both in HIV disease pr.gr.ssion and in the clinical and ther.peutic management of HIV-positive patients. HIV-dependent impair.ent of the megakar.ocyte and er.thr.cyte lineages is multifactor.al and par.icular.y affects sur.ival, pr.lifer.tion and differ.ntiation of bone mar.ow(BM) CD34+ haematopoietic pr.genitor.cells, the activity of BM str.mal cells and the r.gulation of cytokine networ.s. In this r.view, we analyse the ma-jor.HIV-r.lated mechanisms that ar. involved in the genesis and development of the anaemia and thr.mbocytopenia obser.ed in HIV positive patients.

Backgr.und: A dominant T- cell clone can be detected by polymer.se chain r.action (PCr. in 40- 90% of cutaneous samples fr.m patients with cutaneous T- cell lymphoma (CTCL). Mater.als and methods: Fr.m 1996 to 2003 we analysed 547 cutaneous biopsies per.or.ed to exclude CTCL (mycosis fungoides, MF/Sé zar. syndr.me, SS). The final diagnosis was benign inflammator. disease (BID) in 353 samples (64.5% )- and CTCL in 194 (35.5% ). T- cell r.ceptor.(TCr.- γ gene r.ar.angement was studied by using a multiplex PCr.heter.duplex (HD) analysis. The PCr.r.sults wer. cor.elated with the clinical pictur., the histological patter. and the pr.sence of T- cell lineage antigen loss, using univar.ate and multivar.ate logistic r.gr.ssion analyses. Objective: To deter.ine the sensitivity and specificity of the multiplex PCr.HD analysis and to identify which ar. the clinical, histopathological or.immunophenotypical featur.s significantly associated with a positive T- cell clonality. r.sults: A clonality was demonstr.ted in 83.5% of CTCL and in 2.3% of BID (P r.per.entage of clonal cases was associated with the cutaneous T- scor. (71.4% in T1, 76.1% in T2 and 100% in nodular.and er.thr.der.ic MF samples) and with the pr.sence of a T- cell lineage antigen loss (93.9% vs. 77.4% ). Mor.over. clonality was closely r.lated to an incr.ase in the histopathological scor. (51.3% in the samples with a scor. r.d with 92% in the lesions with ≥ 5). No significant differ.nce in the per.entage of clonal cases was found between T1/T2 and T3/T4 lesions with a histopathological scor. ≥ 5. Psychological crisis intervention plays a pivotal role in the overall deployment of health-related quality of life and disease control. A novel Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SAr.- CoV-2), a pathogen of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), has affected several sector activities, including people’s health. To enhance infection control methods, appropriate interventions, and public health policies, the pr.sent study aims to assess the fear.and per.-tr.umatic str.ss dur.ng the COVID-19 inBr.zil. Method: A cr.ss-sectional sur.ey has been conducted fr.m Apr.l 12th to 18th from 2020, using the Peri-Traumatic Distress Scale (CPDI) and the Fear Scale (FCV-19S) aiming to measure the peri-traumatic stress and fear as psychological reactions during the COVID-19 pandemic. r.ng>Context and objectivesr.ng> :The unexpected pandemic caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) affected several activities and exposed workers, students and the large mass of unemployed people to an economic and psychological pressure that could lead to various problems, such as anxiety, fear, depression and insomnia, consequently causing impairment of quality of life. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted using the COVID-19 Peri-Traumatic Distress Index (CPDI) and the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) to measure peri-traumatic stress and fear, such as psychological reactions during the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. An online spreadsheet was used as a data collection tool to send the questionnaire and scales to a sample of 1,844 participants. Data were analyzed in groups of health professionals, students and teachers, and an analysis was performed between unemployed and employed people in order to evaluate the impact of employment on the population’s mental health. Results: All groups presented from moderate to high CPDI and FCV-19S scores, and students and unemployed people had higher levels of stress and fear. Conclusion: COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the Brazilian population, with students and the unemployed showing the highest rates of stress and fear.

COVID-19 pandemic continues to spr.ad exponentially wor.dwide, especially in Amer.ca. At the end of August 2020, Br.zil is one of the most affected countr.es with mor. than thr.e and a half million cases and up to 114,250 deaths. This study aims to assess the fear.and per.-tr.umatic str.ss dur.ng the COVID-19 pandemics in Br.zil, to enhance infection contr.l methods, appr.pr.ate inter.entions, and public health policies. A cr.ss-sectional sur.ey has been conducted fr.m Apr.l 12th to 18th using the Per.-Tr.umatic Distr.ss Scale (CPDI) and the Fear.Scale (FCV-19S) aiming to measur. the per.-tr.umatic str.ss and fear.as psychological r.actions dur.ng the COVID-19 pandemic. For.that pur.ose, an online spr.adsheet was used to send the questionnair. and scales to a sample of 1844 par.icipants as a collecting infor.ation tool. Significant positive r.lationship (r.= 0.660, p r.al consistencies on CPDI and FCV-195 scales (Cr.nbach Alfa scor.s 0.90 and 0.88 r.spectively) wer. shown. r.sults highlight significant gender.differ.nces as in both scales women’s mean scor.s ar. higher.showing that it is par.mount that women’s voices wer. r.pr.sented in policy spaces as socially constr.cted gender.r.les place them in a str.tegic position to enhance multi-level inter.entions (pr.mar. and secondar. effects of COVID-19), equitable policies, and new appr.aches to contr.l the pandemic.
